I received unprofessional and impersonal customer service at this location. The associate, who I was told is also the manager, had a poor attitude, talked down to me, and didn't even call me about the car, he chose to call my husband. My husband's name is on file but I am the person who brought the car in and spoke with the associate, the car is in my name, and the associate took down my phone number. The associate and/or manager chose to completely avoid communication with me. He also made sure not to put his name on the recommendation forms I received. I feel I was treated with sexism from this associate. I called their customer service line to inform the company and I felt I was brushed off. I will not be going back to any Les Schawb nor recommending them to anyone. This issues seriously needs to be addressed. I was also rejected service as they stated one of my tires was too bald for service under the warranty. I understand the company has rules. I do not hold that against them. However, my husband who spoke with the associate over the phone, agreed that the associate was rude and pushing purchase of a new tire. My car was also left with both front windows completely down. This was unprofessional as anyone could have reached into my car. I don't understand why I was treated with not only poor customer service but treated as less than another human being. read more

Stolen cup lining to my brand new Honda. Completely disappeared. 3 people worked on it for just a tire rotation and balance. My wheel locks were left in my cup holder for them to use. My wheels locks were returned in my glove box. Someone stole something and I will not be going back. read more

I had work done at a different Les Schwab and my truck ended up needing warranty work. I was out of town and stuck in Lodi because of the issue. I contacted my local LS where the work was done and they contacted Ozzy at Lodi. Ozzy worked on my truck personally and even worked through is lunch to get me back on the road. He found additional issues and made those repairs also. Ozzy even called me the next day to insure I made it home safe and that everything was still good. read more

I was in today 3/15/25 and was assisted by Brandon. Had low tire pressure. He located a screw and patched it for me. He also went over my future tire purchase options. This isn't the first time Brandon has assisted me. I brought my T@B trailer in this past summer and he helped pack the bearings in preparation for an upcoming trip. Wow!!! My first experience at this LES SCHWABB was FANTASTIC! They were so honest. A local RV place told me to get an alignment B4 they installed a $500 SAFE- T stabilizer to assist front end wobble so I took it to the Lodi Les Schwab. PETER Brake and Alignment Tech actually took my rig on the road FIRST to understand what I was experiencing. TEN Stars just for that! Then he worked with another guy, while up on rack to turn the steering wheel. He quickly found a bad bracket and did NOT proceed or charge for the alignment. We had the most incredible example of exemplary Customer Service today. While waiting to have our tire repaired, we asked if there was any more creamer. Erica immediately checked and found there was none. But then she walked to Big Lots, bought more creamer and asked if the selection was ok. We woke up to a flat tire in Lodi Ca yesterday and immediately searched for the nearest Les Schwab location and found the 615 E Lodi Ave Store. We called and with in 30 minutes you guys were there to fill our flat and followed you back to the shop for repair. Siuea was the tech that helped us with the filling of the tire initially and then proceeded to repair the tire once back at the shop. We had a 10 hour drive ahead of us to get back to Portland and thanks to you guys and Siuea we made it home safely!! Hope you have something to do if you plan on having work done, over 3 hours past my appointment time plus I got there early and I'm pretty sure they forgot about my car at one point. Not all work was completed and nothing was said about it at checkout, good thing I checked the receipt. On the plus side I got to watch 'fist full of dollars' with Clint Eastwood, solid 7/10. I went to this location to get new tires on my car. I also wanted all wheel studs replaced, and a front alignment done. The only thing they did was put the new tires and did the front alignment. HOWEVER, they did NOT put all new wheel studs like I requested! They told me they didn't feel my car needed them. That was NOT their choice to decide that, nor did they call me to tell me this and let me decide if I still wanted them to do it. Upon calling their customer service number to report this issue and get it resolved, the person on the phone was EXTREMELY rude and continued to argue with me about this. I feel they had no right to make a decision about MY car without first consulting me. I will NEVER return to this business, and I have told everyone I know how I was treated. So 6/13 My boy and I were trailering a boat north, and had a tire shred passenger side rear on my truck, between Stockton and Lodi. We could not get the spare down and called AAA. A great guy from Ford Construction stopped to see if he could help but was also unsuccessful. He took my rim and what was left of the tire, to Les Schwab in Lodi and they changed to a new tire and sent their service guy to install it. What a load off my shoulders. Went to their shop and got another tire to keep the axel with the same tires, they checked my spare to find the device that lowered the spare was broken. I was treated so well even as the guys had clearly had a tough day as the were mighty dirty from tire work, everybody here was in a good mood smiling and happy, I left there feeling very confident and content. We went to this location for a full break job, instantly heard grinding and felt wobbling when breaking. Les Schwab said it would go away after the first 500 miles. Continued to experience grinding and wobbling, we moved out of state and they said we would have to bring it back (couldn't do this since we were out of state). We did a maintenance check a few days ago, the shop was amazed we even made it in because the breaks were so bad. Come to find out Les Schwab installed undersized rotors on our vehicle and we were forced to get another full break job at the new shop out of state. Les Schwab wouldn't cover it because we were outside of mileage warranty (this should have been voided because the correct breaks were never installed). We fought this for hours on the phone, sent pictures and a full report. Disappointed a well known company like this would mess up on a simple break job and not offer to reimburse or cover the new full break job we had to get due to Les Schwab putting the incorrect parts on our vehicle. read more

So my wife had two tires mounted here a few months ago. One of the valve stems leaked ever since that visit. We recently went in to have it fixed. She was told that the tire was below minimum spec and they wouldn't touch it. So they turned away a customer with a low tire at a greater threat to safety when all they had to do was replace the valve core. I'm not a lawyer but that seems like a bigger risk than just trying to fix it it and having the customer sign off. I know this because I replaced the core the next day and it stopped the leak. They also tried to tell her the alignment was causing the wear. I had the alignment checked and it's within spec and the tire wear is even. I measured the tread depth at 5/32 as well so they are also full of it when claiming minimum spec was an issue. Finally, I went to replace the rear brake pads last weekend and the lugs were torqued over 180lbs. My air compressor was turned up to 150psi all the way open on the line and it couldn't break them loose. I almost had to put all my weight and force into them with a breaker bar to get them off. I'm convinced this is why the rear rotors were warped as this is a primary cause of that issue. I would post a video of me using the impact and failing to get them off but Yelp doesn't allow videos. WOW. First off, let me start by saying I already know what to look out for and normally do not choose les schwab because they already have a bad rep when it comes to trying to upsell people (especially women) when they think they can get away with it. However, it was after 5 and most of the normal body shops were closed and this should have been a 10 min fix for a part that costs $5 (a tire valve sleeve, the little metal part that you use to put air in your tire)... They quoted me $900-$1000 for four brand new tires that I did not need, four brand new tire valves, and the labor for doing all this extra work I did not need done. Needless to say I did not get any of those packages and simply asked them to take my car off the jack and drove to the auto parts store down the street to get the part and change it out myself. HOWEVER the reasons I'm still giving this place a one star is 1. They damaged the rim of my tire while taking the jack off, which was petty of them (the entire rim was bent and the tire has a chunk missing now, something you have to go out of your way to even do???) 2. I had to leave with a tire that had 21 psi, Basically a flat which is very dangerous to have on the road and I had already explained to them I was coming to get it fixed because I live out of town. So they knew they were putting me out at risk of blowing a tire and potentially harming myself and/or others. ALL FOR AN EASY BUCK??? No. I will be leaving this review on every site I can get my hands on to try to protect anyone else running into similar issues. I would also like to say that the entire time I was very polite and even apologized for not buying into their scam, lol. I noticed the damage and didn't even care at that point, I just feel so let down by the inhumanity of these people. We blew out a front tire on Hwy 88 today, got onto the side of the road, called AAA and we're told it would be 90 minutes. So I called Lodi Les Schwab, and gave them the tire size, they said their tech would be there in 15 minutes and he was. This is our 32 foot RV, barely off the road, DeWade (?) tackled the problem right away, and oh yeah, it was 100+ degrees out. The shop gave him the wrong tire but once they brought the right one, he quickly mounted it, filled and installed back on the rig. We were back on the road, today is July 3, and this all started at about 2:15 p.m. Instead of losing today, and tomorrow because it's a holiday, we reached our destination safely. I was at my appointment 20 minutes early and now it is 25 minutes past my appointment time and no one has even looked at my car. This has been our 1st bad experience with them. We in to get a tire fix an easy job. Note it took them 2hr get this job done. Not very happy about that. 95% of time they got us in and out even when they our busy. We went in today was told hour , 1 1/2 hr ok. So about 30min saw truck go in. 45 min it still sitting there no movement on truck and it an 1 1/2hr. Ask how much more longer to lady. She went out yell that the guys. I would give no stars but then I couldn't write the following review... On 03/14/23, we took our truck into Les Schwab in Lodi, CA (615 E. Lodi Ave. Store #642) for a look at the brakes. We had done them recently but the truck has not really been driven, we thought maybe they needed to be bled. Peter L F put the truck on the lift and almost immediately started talking about needing a new this and a new that. He said that "he was going to do us right" to the tune of around $1500. When we balked at that he delivered a written quote (#64200492013) totalling $1249.81. We told him to take the truck off the rack immediately. We promptly drove around the corner to our mechanic. He told us the only problem was a hole in the brake hose where it had been rubbing since we had new tires put on, by none other than Les Schwab. Our mechanic replaced the hose totalling less that $200. Les Schwab just lost our business and anyone else we come in contact with. What a SCAM they are running!! read more

I ordinarily love Les Schwab. Good products, great service. I go WAY out of my way to patronize them, and in this location (as they always treated my late father in law very well). But today I was appalled by what I saw as far as COVID precautions. I saw counter staff with masks under their noses, and even (when not at the counter, but in the work area behind the counter) without masks at all. I watched mechanics working in close quarters, or standing in groups talking, with masks down under their chins. I saw them allow customers in the store without masks, or with masks under their chins (in other words, not wearing a mask). I saw precisely ONE employee who had his mask on the entire half-hour I was there. Clearly they are not taking things seriously at ALL. I find this insulting, as it is my safety they are putting at risk, and that tells me that they do not respect customers. Much as I have found their general service excellent, I won't be going back. read more
