I came in thinking I might need new tires, but after inspecting them, they let me know the tread was still in great shape and that replacing them wasn't necessary. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need, they recommended a tire rotation, which they completed quickly and professionally. I got a flat tire and called this place to ask if they had my specific tire in stock and they said yes but they couldn't fit me in which is fine, then I called another shop nearby (Phil's Fleet I believe) and he helped call around to see if he could find anyone who could help me which he did end up finding us a shop.. but when he called Dave's "quality" tires, they told him they didn't have that tire in stock so they either lied to me or to him. Either way, I'm glad I didn't go here in the end because the 1 star reviews are awful. read more

Called and confirmed that they had the used tire I needed in stock. I came in to find out the tire was made in 2017. Too old to be put on any vehicle in my opinion. So this was a history lesson for me I will not do business with this place ever. It was way better before these new owners took over. read more

This is what they did to my car after not securing the tire accurately after a change of tire. I drove the freeway and noticed and heard a problem had it towed back to his shop at 8 am Monday morning after having the tires put on on Saturday . They promised to fix everything and did some . They went against my request for a body shop to fix the body ordered parts and locked me into having what they called an in house body shop guy they knew do the body work. I requested an independent shop evaluate the safety of the car and Abe took it to midas where moe works. Moe is affiliated with Abe at davids . That was not the agreement I wanted an independent safety check from someone or place independent from his shop. Abe just took it to midas on kettleman in lodi and moe when he was working . The midas report had no notes . I When the paint on the fender didn't match the car Abe agreed to fix the color to match and add the liner that is now missing inside the front bumper. After getting my car finally back I had to sign an agreement that certain things were done pending completion of the remaining work to correct the damage or else he wouldnt give me my car . It was signed under duress and I was able to sign it pending the work being completed so it's unenforceable until work is completed I told him I wouldn't be going back on thur 8/31/23 until safety of car was cleared I dependently . When I recontacted him via phone he hung up on me telling me via text that because I divulged I knew that moe and he (Abe) know eachother, (I was told by a midas manager) Abe texted me that I was racist and he would no longer deal with me Abe stated to me that since he and Moe are of the same ethnicity .(?!) I was being racist and saying they were either cousins or knew one another .I've never even met Moe . Abe is now refusing to do anything to finish fixing the car and leaving it as it was . I will contact the BBB as well as the Bar . I could've died on the freeway Monday morning had I not had it towed back to his shop. When I did,Ave seemed and acted annoyed there was a problem . Jumped in my car for a test drive and this is how my car ended up when the tire and rim he replaced flew off of the car in the morning hours. My tire and rim were never found and when I posted on social media asking the public if anyone had seen it Abe freaked out and wanted me to take it down so people wouldn't know his shop and he had done what they did . He's threatening to report me for harassing him for asking him to finish the repairs to the damages to my car so I have no choice but to report the shop to the bbb and bar One of the pictures shows a review of David's stating Moe is affiliated with David's tire and I have video of a Midas employee telling me Moe conducted the safety inspection which is also on the midas inspection report with no notes read more

Hard to find but worth the effort. Not the prettiest shop but the reason I like giving them my business is because of the young owner. He gives a fair price, he's the most honest tire shop in Lodi and he works smart in that he checks fit of the new rims first, makes sure the lug nuts are threaded on correctly, and the nuts are torqued by hand (not impact gun). He even balanced my trailer tires; something other shops don't feel is necessary. read more

I was in Lodi for work then suddenly my tire tpms light went on. My tires were pretty much bald and I've been having this annoying slow leak. I stumbled upon this shop and and drove in and a young man greeted me and immediately asked how can he help, unfortunately I'm not too car savvy and had A LOT of questions and they happily and patiently answered them for me. They had a great selection of both used and new tires. I couldn't pass up the great deal on the new tires. the service was very quick and efficient. They even checked my fluids for me since I explained I have a long way back home and did an oil change as well which I haven't done since the start of the pandemic! The staff was cool and welcoming! Was looking for a tire as none of the local shops had my size or it needed to be order. Also try to give my business to the local guys instead of the chain stores or dealership. Found David's tire on Yelp and read the reviews I saw all the of newer reviews where 4-5 stars and headed on over. Adam came up and greeted me and asked what I needed and he went in the back and went looking and found me a great looking used tire. I don't normally buy used but it's my commuter car and don't care what it looks like and had plenty of tread left so I took it and also had him replace my spare as well since it looked like a nascar racing tire and had no tread left on it and didn't want to deal with a bad spare when you need a spare. Total cost for 2 used quality tires was 120 out the door and was in and out in less then 20 minutes. I will be back soon as they also do breaks as well and the estimate of what he gave was much lower then Les Schwab and didn't try to sell me rotors as they where done last time and they just have to be refinished. If your looking for a place that has good quality used tires you have found the spot and they are quick at the work they do. They also have new tires as well but went used only as since covid it's hard to find a place or they have to be ordered and wait. I was happy with what I purchased and will be back soon for breaks. David's tires rescued us when our trailer had a blow out on the 5. This occurred 20 minutes before closing time, but Adam got our tire, drove out to the freeway and replaced the blowout quickly to get us back on the road. They charged a reasonable rate and excellent service when other shops wouldn't help us because it was late in the day or quoted us a crazy rate to help us. The guys here are very knowledgeable and do amazing quality work. I went in for 2 New rear tires for my M6 and asked if they could balance the fronts since I had a wobble in the steering wheel. When they took off the fronts for balance they informed me they both had bubbles and actually showed me the issue. We got the 2 front tires switched out and my car drives perfect again.
