Exceptional and friendly service. I had a nail in my tire. I had gone to Costco and they refused to patch it because the tires "looked" old. I even got my tires from Costco! The tires were on great condition with a lot of tread left and I did not think it made sense to buy 4 new tires for an AWD car when it could be fixed easily. I left Costco and came to Les Schwab. Came in for a tire balance and rotation, first girl did an amazing job explaining everything and also showing me proof and data. Came back ten minutes after because the shaking was worst, second girl came back with no proof whatsoever and told me I need to change all of my tires because one of them is not round anymore. Mind you this car is only a year old and I only go to work and home. I know about cars because I have been building and modifying cars for the past 7 years. She tells me my front tires are thin and worn out, replacement is $1500. I checked for myself, my tire tread is no where near of how she explained it. I just felt like because it was a Tesla they were trying to get money out of me, she even waited for my response if I wanted to do it right now. I'm not dropping $1500 for something that might not be true. Definitely just going to go get it checked somewhere else. I am not certain why I tried this place a second time. I Came in for new brakes and rotors on a Honda Accord. They asked for $1300 for the job. I called the Honda dealer locally and priced out the same job. It would have been over 300 less to do it at the dealer with OEM parts! I dropped my car off at 1100 and was told to pick it up 3:45 pm. I arrived at 3:45 sat there for an hour for them to come out and tell me the parts they received from their other stores were incorrect and damaged telling me I would have to sit and wait further. When I asked the lead technician why they are more expensive then the dealer he made up some story about how aftermarket parts are better quality then oem and that's why it's more expensive. This is definitely a shop for auto ignorant soccer moms, anyone with sense should not take the rip off. Addendum. After getting my car back and driving home, I noticed the hand break was completely lifeless and not engaging. The les schaub mechanics did not properly hook up the hand break and I had to drive back and the car is back on the rack. FML. Great shop! I had been to another tire store to have new tires mounted and balanced. They did a poor job and left me with a front end vibration. I decided to go to the Mukilteo shop as they had done a great job installing tires on my Audi. Once again this shop came through and fixed the issues the other shop missed. The technician, Daniel, explained to me what was going on with my car and what he did to correct it. I had to take the ferry from Whidbey to get there but it was well worth it! I paid 1500.00 for them last year and I noticed how terrible they were looking and when it started raining this year i was all over the road so I took my car in. Don't come to this location. They will treat your car horribly and make unnecessary comments about one's vehicle. This individual in the video kept rubbing my engine while the car was in park and causing damage to my axel. He kept doing it even after one of his coworker told him to stop. He made a comment saying "this car needs to die" after looking at the mileage. Well sir haven't you considered that some people in this world are not fortunate to buy a new car and rely on only one. But yeah just cause it's an old car, let's go ahead and treat it like shit and talk shit about it to our coworkers. Super unprofessional. I was given a quote for a set of 4 tires. I made an appt for the following Sat. I waited 11/2 hours only to find out they put the wrong tires on my car that would have cost me twice the amount of the quote. TWICE the amount. With no explanation as to why, they agreed to put the correct tires on my car. However, it took another 3 1/2 hours to finish the job. My 11/2 hours turned into 5 hours and a bit uneasy feeling as to what it was they were trying to pull off. As well as, I didn't even get the common courtesy of next in line. I had to wait for all the appointments ahead of me before they would take my car back to the bay. In the end of it all, it was $100 over my quote, and absolutely no apologies or discount offered. I had just picked up my personal watercraft from a service department in Lynnwood. The tire on my trailer had gone flat overnight. The service department filled it but I was worried about driving two hours north on a tire that go flat on me. I went to the closest Les Schwab, and it was in Mukilteo. I explained my situation to them and then I really needed the tire looked at to see if it was going to go flat on me. I had a long drive ahead of me. I knew I would probably be a fit in and that would take some time but to my surprise they got me going right away. I came to the Mukilteo Speedway location hoping for help with a flat. It was recommended to get two new back tires, about 400$. Tires put on and I left, I thought that would be the end. Unfortunately it wasn't. Al the store manager received a call from someone claiming to be my employer (I'm not employed and am a homemaker) and without any need for further review added this fake employers email into my account as if it were my own, discussed my personal information and sent the fake employer a full invoice of my personal vehicle and my tires. This includes my name, email, address, phone number, make model etc info about my vehicle. When I discovered that someone had my information I immediately called the store and spoke with a crew member who told me no way their store didn't do that and there would be no way to tell. So I contacted a different store who heard my story, looked at my account and discussed how that was absolutely against policy and then sent me PDF proof that Al the store manager had gone into my account with dates and times and added the fake employers email into my account. When I received this I contacted the store who told me that the store manager "went home early" and couldn't be spoken with that day. i then contacted headquarters who said they would investigate. The next day i called the store and AL was finally available and said he didnt even think twice about it and saw no concerns and just thought he was helping out a business. im not employed, its my car fully, in my name only, and i have been a victim of stalking in the past and explained that to him, his response was oh well i didnt think about that. i also told him how it was fist denied by his store and that only after another store sent me proof did they finally even say they did it. Headquarters contacted me and said the manager was going to have to train the employees about the policy and why they cant give out information to anyone without first getting approval from account holder. i doubt this manager really cares, or even thinks he did anything wrong. i wouldnt go here as they dont respect customers or their privacy. i was offered a whoops my bad im sorry apology and thats all. i hope this review helps hold this manager accountable and gives customers a second thought about going to this les schwab. Al a store manager doesnt know his own policy and will deny fault until faced with proof. Imagine what else they hide or will cover up in regards to your vehicle? how many other times will they act clueless when they know theyve done wrong? take your car elsewhere and save yoyrself the trouble and doubt! read more

Three years and 94,000 miles ago I had four new Toyo Highway tread tires installed on my company supplied Dodge Dakota pickup. Today, I stopped by this location to have them rotated as I have done every 12-15,000 miles and asked how much additional life to expect. I was informed that I had 9/32" of usable tread on the front and 11/32" on the rear or about 20%! I have never driven on tires that wore like this! These tires when purchased were expensive to buy however they are lasting double the miles that any other brand of tire has ever delivered. I helped myself to a free bag of tasty popcorn, watched the news on TV for a few minutes and was on my way out the door with a smile on my face. Kenny was awesome! I'd needed some help getting my chains on so I called and whoever answered the phone said it was a complimentary service. When I arrived Kenny told me it was a $20 service fee. I expressed I was disappointed because I'd left my wallet and I'd have to be back. As I was getting into my vehicle Kenny yelled out to me that he'd take care of it for me and to pull into a bay (all the while running around and helping other people) He got me all chained up in less than 5 minutes. One thing about Les Schwab...they wont quit till the job is done, and done correctly. Went in for an annoying grinding sound I thought was a brake going out. Found out my bearings needed replaced. After replacement, I went to use my brakes and it was still there. I was so bummed. They told me to bring it back. Several hours later and plenty of drives around the block, they figured out a spring was not releasing on my back brake area causing the annoying sound. They fixed it!!! Attitude is a big part of this business. He said I had not bought my tires there so I would have to wait. Wait, wait and wait. He Acted like I was a real mooch, asking for service but not previously buying tires. Got here just after they opened for a simple job. I figured it would take at most 30 minutes. Other customers that arrived went before me! Swap wheels from one car to another, that's it. Manager said had to wait for two bays to be open. There are 5 bays at no time more than 3 were in use. Still there were 3 other customers waiting. I guess they are just under staffed and slow at doing their work. Plus they don't like you if you did not buy your tires from them. When I took my '07 Mazda3 into the dealership for its 60k mile maintenance, they told me that my front struts were leaking and would need to be replaced. They quoted upwards of $1,000 to do so. As I wasn't prepared for such a costly fix, I decided to wait on the replacement so I could compare prices. I called Les Schwab, spoke to David, who was both professional and knowledgable, and was quoted roughly half of what the dealer was asking. This sounded good to me, so I had him order the parts. Though they don't take appointments, he suggested that I come in first thing Saturday morning. My car didn't seem like it needed new struts. The ride wasn't excessively bumpy and when I had my stepfather perform the "bounce" test, it barely moved. When I got to Les Schwab, David was there to greet me and I expressed my doubts about the struts needing replacing. He said they would take a look and give me a call with their findings. Around 30 minutes later, I received a call from Erik. He had taken the car out for a drive and then inspected the struts while it was up on the lift. The struts were not leaking. In fact, they were perfectly fine. He said to come back and pick up my car. I wasn't even charged for the inspection. Words cannot express how much I appreciated the honesty and integrity of the employees here. It's great to know that there are some businesses that still prioritize people, rather than their bottom line.
