The abstract is that the team here is great and knowledgeable, but the managers that run this place only care about your wallet and selling new tires. I had them do a roto rebalance, they said no problems, I drive to Portland and back and the steering wheel shakes subtly the whole time so no improvement over before, and they also didn't rotate a single wheel, I can tell because of the scuffs on the rims that were there before, I call them and ask them to rebalance my wheels again and their manager said "tires are out of round." My tires were less than 5 years old and still had tens of thousands of miles left on them, so before I had them rebalanced I was worried that the wheels were bent, I made sure they were talking about the tires not the wheels and they needed another service to make sure because they didn't have a good enough note on that. I finally do get them rebalanced again they repeated the same thing, once the service was done I got a word from someone at the front desk that the center bores don't match because they are aftermarket wheels. The manager comes in and interrupts them, and says "tires are out of round" again, I ask them if they can mount a centering ring, essentially, they refused and told me that unless they were their wheels they weren't going to help. After the remounting, the balancing was fine. All they had to say was that it needs those center ring adapters the first time. The complete refusal to resolve or even at the bare minimum acknowledge a potential issue shows the lack of care for the customer. I think that the team that works here is very talented and wants to show kindness, but they are heavily bogged down by management. I'll give it 2 stars cause one of the techs complimented my car. read more

I got 4 new tires and new sensors for our car today and honestly, really disappointed with the service. My dad always praised Les Schwab and so I don't even think about another company when I think about tires, but maybe it's time to find somewhere else. First, they called with the quote for all new sensors and told me there were generic ones and name brand...I asked for the price on both and what the difference once and then said I wanted the name brand ones. Just looked at my invoice and they had put on the less expensive ones. Annoying because if they truly wear out faster, then they've just cost me more money. Cool. Thanks for listening. Also...what is the point of an appointment?? I brought my car in at 9AM and it took FOUR HOURS to change my tires and put in new sensors. WHY? Why are you overbooking to the point that you're ticking off the customers who plan ahead for the car service? Not only that, but at no time did they communicate any kind of timeline so I had to call after hours and figure out what was going on. Then when they did, I still had to wait. My advice is do not, under any circumstances, make other plans for the day if you have to get service here. Also, front desk? Communication needs massive improvement. Checking in was great. Checking out...I had to ask for what the final amount was. No one went over a thing. No one talked to me about my financing. Very bad customer service. They lied to me about needing to get new tires, and I caught them in the lie and the guy just walked out of the room. When I had them replaced a spare tire, they took the spare wheel and rim, and just threw it in the back of my truck rather than put it back where it belongs. Worse experience ever. Visiting Snoqualmie for my daughter's birthday. I got a flat tire the night before and had the flat replaced with a spare. I scheduled an appointment the next day and this was the closest repair shop. I was told it could take up to a 2 hours which actually turned into 3 hours. My car sat in the same spot the entire 2 hours and it wasn't until I asked someone at the front desk, then my car was retrieved 30-40 minutes later. I went back to the desk for an update and finally was told that the spare had a hole in it (just bought the car so I was unaware of) and what did I want to do about it. As this conversation was taking place, the mechanic drove the car to the front on the store and brought the keys back in (not giving me the option to purchase a new tire). I was then told to only drive 50 mph. I then had to call around to find somewhere to purchase a new tire and thanks to Firestone 15 miles away in Issaquah generously fit me in and got me out with in 35 minutes. My Les Schwab experience was extremely disappointing and I feel they put my daughter, her dog and myself in an extremely bad situation. I live over 50 miles away and was just trying to get back home. read more

I just wasted 3 hours at north bend Les Schwab they told me it would be 2 hours after I sat there for 3 and they hadn't touched my car so I asked and they said I was still two to three hours out and then said "someone should have told you that" in the meantime, a commercial account guy came in with something wrong with his tire and the guy said no problem. I'll move the schedule around and get you in in a couple minutes. Just hold tight..... Update, I went to pep boys in Kirkland and the did the mount/dismount , tire disposal and an alignment all for $50 less than Les Schwab was going to charge just to mount...... read more

One star for the each visit I had that wasn't a poor experience. Every other has had some sort of issue. Twice I called in advance to confirm my needs before arrival. Each time I arrive, I'm told the person answering the phone is new and doesn't know the managers policy. The first time I reached out to Les Schwab, and they confirmed that was not the policy. The reason for the visit was for a tire change during the snowy season. I work electrical power emergencies and need to drive around during the harshest of times. Les Schwab was not willing to change my tires because I didn't purchase them with Les Schwab, after being recommended to purchase the tires on Amazon, by Les Schwab. The second time was today. I called in to see if I could, bring in a set of loose tires and wheels to get old ones removed and new ones mounted. Call taker said they would probably not be able to complete it this afternoon but I could leave the tires and wheels with them and pick them up Monday or Tuesday. I pulled the trailer out and loaded it up with all of the gear and drove it over to Les Schwab. I was quickly assured by, whom, from his strut I assume was the manager, that I could not leave the tires overnight, and all my efforts were wasted. He blamed it on the "new girl," same as last time and I'm pretty sure it was the same girl from last years incident. Looks like I'll be driving to Renton where the manager is okay with an overnight. I want to like Les Schwab, but North Bend location sucks out of me every time. Every other Les Schwab I've been to is five stars. read more

Had to go to this shop after hiking on thr mountains because we had a flat tire. Put the spare on halfway up the mountains when the front right tire suddenly went flat. When we took the wheel out, it had a big puncture on the inside of the rubber. Dunno how it happened, but it was time to replace all 4 tires anyway. After driving to Mt. Rainier a number of times, along with rocky and pothole terrains over the last 2 years, definitely time to buy new tires since the treads were pretty worn out. Anyway, we arrived at around 2:20 PM on a Saturday. Had 2 options of tires, so we picked the ones we wanted and requested to get all 4 brand new tires. Estimated time was an hour, so we decided to wait at the shop. Once we were told our car was ready at 3:20 PM, exactly an hour later, we were relieved to get the car tires replaced. Felt pretty nervous driving down the mountain and on the highway, driving with a spare on, so it felt good to have normal sized tires back on. Great service!!! read more

I'm 60 years old and have always sworn by thr incredible service at any les Schwab. Not anymore. Les Schwab is yet another company that I would patronize above any of their competitors simply because of their unmatched customer service. Now. I think they stink. I had a screw in my tire on a Friday and it's making my 'LOW TIRE PRESSURE' light go off in my car. I stopped at Les Schwab in North Bend and....they can get me in on Tuesday. Huh? What happened Les Schwab? From what I can tell, they no longer have 10 or so employees running around 'making it happen'. There were 4 employees dividing their time between working in the tire bays, making popcorn and the front counter. There were cars backed up to be worked on, a long line of inpatient customers at the front counter and a full lobby of people waiting for their cars to be done. I sat for a few minutes and decided just to take it down the street where i t was done and ready in about 27 minutes. Les Schwab is yet another company gone to heck. Oh well. read more

Told us to come at 7:30 and service would be 40 minutes. Showed up on time and were then told it would be 8am (they don't start working on cars until 8) and at least an hour and a half before it would be ready. 9am and we're still sitting here. Now being told it will be at least another hour to get it in because appointments take precedence. Not a good experience, won't return. read more

Les Schaub is Great! They air up and inspect your car tires free every day! I do this every 3 months. Be nice to the garage workers . The work is hard and fast. If you buy tires here they replace defecrive tires guaranteed. Supply chain can make some work a little slow. People are nice and pleasant. read more

We were just in due to a blown out tire on a long car trip back to Oregon. We stopped in to potentially get a replacement tire. We didn't end up getting one, but we received amazing service pricing out tires, measuring tread, etc. Karl helped us while we were there and was phenomenal. Made an appointment for an alignment a couple days prior. The SUV was pretty messed up after a deer hit. I put in all new front suspension parts and have yet to finish the sheet metal damage, but it was time to have the vehicle aligned. Frank was the alignment tech and we chatted before the job - and I wished him well. Pleasantly surprised, in less than an hour, all 4 wheels were aligned. I had some misalignment in the rear, but the front was a bigger story. Even the steering wheel was off center upon arrival. All is good now. Serious. After driving through the slow lanes of North Bend, I take it out on I-90 and 'go'. Not a jitter, bounce, wobble....and the vehicle has 246k miles on it. I suppose my experience was a very good one, and can't comment on this that low ball the place. Tires, brakes, batteries, alignments and some other services....they appear to be just fine. I do most all my own work, but not alignments, or tires, so I'll be sure to consider them again when the 'family fleet' needs their services. Big thanks to Frank for his humor and service! read more

Two fairly recent interactions with Les. This past winter during a below freezing event I noticed a pronounced thumping while driving west on I-90 toward North Bend. Fearing alignment or tire failure I stopped and asked Les for an inspection and if needed, new tires and an alignment. The mechanic covering the front desk and phones looked at my truck through the window and said, "You don't need new tires or an alignment, you have snow and ice frozen on your wheel, let the ice melt and the thump will disappear." I was prepared to pay $$$ for new front tires and an alignment and the service guy could have taken advantage of me; but he didn't. 5/5 stars. This week I brought my lifted truck in for replacement off road tires. They were not cheep but Les finished the job in about two hours while I waited. The mechanic answer my questions about possible tire rubbing and spare size. 4.5/5 stars. read more

This is the only service center for everyone between issaquah and snoqualmie pass and they know it. Very poor quality and service and will take you for a run if you're not careful. Have been here many times over the years and was quoted unnecessary work. Last straw was when a service tech stated my cams were seized and quoted me over 2.5k to replace the stock lower control arm which would only require a new lca and to cut a bolt off. It was complete bs too I took it to another tire shop and they said the cams were completely fine. Moral of the story don't go here. read more

This location is great! They're responsive to questions and actually get the vehicle in and the work done. After being told at another Les Schwab location that they were too "swamped" to work on my vehicle (they were not busy at all...), weren't able to make ANY appointments, and generally acted like they didn't want to even look at my car, I drove 40 minutes to another Les Schwab that's never let me down, and they delivered again. Was told they could look at it but I may have to wait a while. No worries, I was prepared for that. The guy that does brakes (don't remember your name dude but you're awesome) was able to listen to my feedback of issue (sound in suspension, possible bushings somewhere lol) use his professionalism, threw my car on the lift when he had a little time between brake jobs, and found the issue in less than 5 minutes. They were actually busy. He wasn't told to do this, he just did it. Worth the drive. read more

My tire had a nail in it, I took it to a "Big O"competitor who barely glanced at my tire and told me they could not patch it, that I would need to replace my tire that is a year old. I pulled off the freeway this afternoon and immediately my tire light comes on. There is nowhere in North Bend to get air, I all of a sudden remembered there was a Les Schwab at the end of town. We pulled in and my tire was completely flat. They were very busy as it was a Saturday afternoon. The guy said well it's gonna be a few hours. Good grief I thought but what are you going to do? So, we left the car walked into town and decided to grab a bite 45 minutes later we received a call our car was done! Shady at best , so I go in for new tires I desperately need and find some tires that will work for me as I live in the pass , learned that credit was an option so decided to go that route I applied online and was approved , then I went in and sat down with the manager and filled a paper application out ( which in mind has my id , social, bank numbers , got everything set with the manager approved and was going to put tires on right then but was informed they were a little busy so the wait time may be long , but hey you can come in tomorrow and we can get in done in 90 minutes. Okay great , come in the next day at 3 pm for the appointment, I hand my keys over n go about my ways about 50 minutes later they call us and tell us they can't actually approve our application , they actually can't find it and the " manager " who helped us isn't actually a manager. So I'm at this imaginary appointment set up by this imaginary manager and this profiling ass Ana bitch decides she doesn't actually want to approve us(homophobia? Not sure ) She doesn't want to accept a deposit/ co signer doesn't try to work with us whatsoever. So where did this application go with all my important information go to some imaginary manager guy who doesn't really work there ? We loved Les Schwab on the other side of the state. Was always greeted in the parking lot and taken care of promptly. The north bend customer service is terrible however! Drove in with a leaky tire with no ride home and was told it would be a couple hours before they would look at it. I said no problem, ill come back in 2 hours. Response was "great, when you get back we will add you to the bottom of the wait list". I then asked about getting an appointment and was told i would have to do it for a later day and had to do online. Guess what! I got home and tried to make an appt request online, and website says "We are having issues with appointment scheduling, please call the store" I think not. Discount Tire does SO much better and will continue to take all my cars there instead. read more

I was supposed to be updated Monday for car parts but never got the call, I had to reach out and was told they would call me again, it has now been a week with no call or update. You can save a few dollars on tires by buying online, but I've always been happy with my tires from North Bend Les Schwab, and the service has more than made up for the money I could have saved when buying tires. They've fixed a number of flats for us and never charged us, and rotation is free as well. It's also a good sign that I've seem some of the same employees there for a number of years. I recently had an experience at the Mazda dealership in Renton that made me really appreciate my local Les Schwab. Mazda charged me $175 to evaluate and provide an estimate for a lower control arm + strut repair. Les Schwab provided the estimate at no cost. Mazda's quote was just over 2x the price that Les Schwab quoted for the same repair. read more

I purchased a used utility trailer. couple of recommendations to get the tires checked to see what year they are and get the wheel bearings checked being pulling the trailer over 100 miles to my summer home. could not make an appointment on line as trailer service was not an option. Drove to the store and scheduled an appointment with staff explaining exactly what I needed. arrived to appointment timely only to wait for 15 minutes for an employee to come out and tell me his technician was double booked and he could not do more than look at my tires. Thank you Les Schwab as I left work early to make your appointment time. Not my issue only one technician showed for work and you are not willing to put another employee on my job. when I suggested I leave it and they complete the work the next day, not a great idea as there are lots of thefts. An offer to leave it secured in a bay would have been suggested but nope...the fix of this double booking and no call to let me know my appointment was not possible was still not pleasing or accommodating me as a customer of Les Schwab. Exactly what part of pre scheduling mishaps are the customer's error when appointments are made by employees of Les Schwab and the customer arrives on time at 3:00 pm only to learn...whoopsy I cannot take care of you! If you are at fault, buck the hell up and go a bit above and beyond to please your customers. read more

Wow. I'm just so impressed by the service here. They always fill my low tires when needed. Today I went and because I had a screw in my tire. Over and above service on my Jeep Grand Cherokee!! On January 23, I stopped in thinking I had a rock in my rear brake that needed removing. Boy, was I wrong! Turned out to need new rear brakes, as the one side was metal on metal. When we came back for the car, it was not quite finished, so I stayed to wait for it while my husband and son went home to Easton. After staying a half hour past closing time to finish it up, the manager, Kevin, came out to explain that there was a problem with a part that would not allow them to finish the brake job safely, and, to save my husband from coming back to get me, offered me a ride home! After each time we left it seemed everything was done properly... It wasn't. We went there to change a set of tires to a new set. Seems simple and easy enough for a tire shop. Well they forgot to balance the tires. So we drive down the road and it's like driving on cobblestones. Go back and they say they won't warranty it. We didn't come back soon enough. Well.. Not everyone has time to drop the car off right away and leave it for 4 hours. After she research into it more, they said oh! We never charged you to begin with so that's good. WHAT! You replaced my tires with new rims and you didn't rebalance the tires?!? She said they normally always do, but we weren't charged for it. What a joke. Paid to have them balanced and all was fine. But really.. If you know anything about tires, you know they need to be rebalanced every time you break them down. Common sense for tire people. Why they didn't do it is beyond me.
