I simply took my car in for an alignment. Dropped it off and I get the dreaded phone call about how it needs this and that. All up sale stuff. My good friend who is a certified mechanic made sure it was ready for an alighnment. So when Schwab calls me to tell me that it needs this and that I let them know that please just do the alignment. I don't get a phone call so I show up to see if it's ready and they tell me "we were not able to do it". What!!!?? When we're planning on calling me? I'm of the opinion that this was a made up excuse since I did not proceed with the supposed repair my car needed. I took it to commercial tire and they did the alignment right away with no issues. Amazing service. I had an appointment to have tires put on my RV, and I ended up being late due to trouble getting it hitched up (I did call and let them know). They've given some tires for free (tire swing for kids) and worked hard to help save us money, searching out the best deals that fit our needs. Jer (spelling) was the Manager a while back and he was a really great guy, since I'm leaving this review now I wanted to make sure he knew how much he was appreciated. The current manager is also a tremendously good man and hires great staff. Fernando helped us out the last time we came in to get tires, getting my wife a stellar deal on an awesome set of tires I won't have to worry about while she's on the road. We are impressed with their after market customer service; free flat tire fixes, rotations, always carried out with attention to detail, quick service and leaving the store feeling appreciated. There might be cheaper tires out there but we choose to give our hard earned money to a company with quality merchandise we don't have to worry about wear and a hard working staff of great people. read more

A huge shout out to the folks at the Les Schwab in Prosser on Wine Country Road. Vince, Jesus and crew helped me out of a bind when traveling through town on my way to Southern Idaho. I stopped at the rest stop down the road and noticed a missing dust cap on my trailer and a hot axle. The staff worked me in to a tight schedule to assure that the axle was ok to drive. They jacked up the tires and checked the play on the wheel as well as the other wheels. Vince also checked the outer bearing and then tightened the nut, which ultimately solved the problem. I was able to continue on the trip with no further issues. I really appreciated the help and was told no charge at the end. While I am not from the Prosser area, I can highly recommend this Les Schwab as a good place to do business. Thanks so much for helping this single mamma and kids get back out on the road. read more

I have been using les schwab for years and my wife brought her truck in for a flat tire. They did the repairs and two days later the tire was loosing air. I took it back and it took over an hour and a half to fix the problem that they did not fix the first time. Not very good costumer service. Will be looking for a better tire service. read more

When Gere was let go I was disappointed but continued doing business there because of Kelby. Now that Kelby has been let go. I'm done doing business there. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I was on my way home from the Tri-Cities to seattle. I drive a big jeep and suddenly my tire sensor went off, and I was losing air rapidly. I called them and they said come right in. They asked for my name and even looked up all the information on my vehicle before I got there. I was able to bring my dog into the waiting room and everyone was so upbeat and ready to help me. I was ready to just switch out my spare, but they suggested we look to repair the tire. We ended up repairing the wheel and it took maybe 20 minutes. We were tremendously grateful for not only fixing a tire in record time which allowed us to avoid the rain through the pass. we were also not charged for the service and that's just taking customer service to a whole next level. Unfortunately, I live in West Seattle or I would go there for all my tire needs. Perhaps I will patronize the one in my neighborhood. If you're ever in Prosser, or live in Prosser and need some tire service. I highly recommend them and wish them all a happy holiday season. read more

Travel trailer brake locked up on freeway. Towed in. Tow truck driver and I both thought fried bearing and probably ruined spindle. Schwab tore it down, had parts in stock, charged us about a quarter of what I was ready for and got us back on the road before they closed. Best auto service I have in a long time. read more

So it'S the time of year to have studded tires removed from our cars. 3 months ago when I had them put on I was charged 75.00 at Les Shawb. Good enough studs on....yesterday my husband took our car TO THE SAME PLACE and was charged DOUBLE the amount as before. I called and that dumb ass tells me " there's been a price increase" I call bullshit and told them they were ripping people off! With this being said watch your totals before swiping your card. Steer clear of this place. They are purely in the business of making money at your expense. They say they honor the warranty on your tires they sell you, but read the fine print. My tire cracked on the sidewall after a few months and I went back to Les Schwab in Prosser and they said "it was fine and it does not go through the wall of the tire" Several days later I woke up to a flat tire. I changed the tire and took the tire to them for replacement and they advised me they would only knock about $20 off a new tire and oh by the way I needed to have all 4 tires replaced because you could not just change one tire on a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Given that they would not work with any more than a $20 reduction. The service was poor, disrespectful, and rude. My advice is to drive a little further, but get the service and warranty value that you deserve. If you choose Les Schwab don't say I didn't warn you. I wouldn't give this place a single star!!!!!! read more

Big shout out to Les Schwab! I drove in with an issue with my OEM new car tires. They did a pressure check NO CHARGE and found my tires to be 4lbs under inflated! Worst one I've been to took over 2 hours to swap tires and multiple people who came before me got done before my vehicle got touched

Took my newly bought vehicle in to get a much needed alignment. Was notified about fifteen minutes later that I needed a new idle arm. I explained that I needed to drive to Spokane and back that day so I could get my previous cars title. Aaron (best mechanic ever) put the part on rush order and promised my car back within the hour. He truly had my safety and the stability of my car in mind. If I hadn't gotten that part replaced it could have done some real damage to my brand new tires I had purchased the previous day. I ran over a bolt that was straight up and conveniently right next to this Les Schwab. I took my car in to fix the tire, they patched it for a large fee then told me my 70,000 mile tires that have only gone 30,000 miles were bald and I had to get new tires. They also broke the tie sensor but refused to fix it saying it was not them who broke it. However it was NOT broken when I had driven into their parking lot. I have since then got the tires checked by Toyota who say they still have at least 30,000 mines left on them. And a couple months prior to this or alignment got messed up and we took our van there. We saw them leave the store driving our van and we followed them into the freeway and then back into town. Seemed a bit much. Plus, the alignment went wierd again within 2 months. Needless to say this is a terrible business with bad business practices, service and untrustworthy people. Never again. Don't go. read more

Traveling from Washington to our home in Southern California we noticed shaking in the steering wheel at speeds of 65 and above. We had had the rotors turned and a CV front axil replaced in Washington at another Les Schwab center so when we saw this location we stopped to have it checked and have the tires balanced. They noticed wear on the tires that could have been due to the axil issue and told us it may still shake after balancing due to this wear. We decided to go ahead without new tires at this time. They proceeded to balance the tires and we were done in approximately 20 minutes. The cost was about $14 per tire but when done, the manager would not accept any payment from us and told us to have a safe journey home. It is refreshing to know that a satisfied and thankful customer meant more to this business than the simple inexpensive part (weights for balancing)! Great customer service and communication. As a side note, we have had no further shaking since we left the business 25 minutes ago :) read more
