Driving from California and on our way to Lassen, we stopped over and saw a nail stuck on our tire. The closest tire shop was this car center. It gets stressful and worrisome when its almost evening, 3 kids and inlaws with you and you are using a rental van. They were all so helpful and accomodating. Besides their professionalism, they made it comfortable for a customer to wait on their service. They are the kind of bussiness that will not rip you off , which is hard to come by nowadays. I am from chico and my kids and I were headed to lake Davis when my car just wasn't drivable at that time. The owner was so nice and helpful he took my car in just to check it to see if there was anything he could do. Unfortunately not it had to be towed home he let my kids and stay inside until the truck came. Everyone working there was so helpful and nice. I appreciated him so much. Took my Truck for anestimate for repairs. Manager was sour grapes over me buying tires from Walmart. I asked that an inspection be made for front end noises.they said myshocks were bad. Since then I took my truck to 4 wheel Drive shop in Reno. Front CVC axle and Needle bearings replaced with bushing. Excellent work and Price. I recommend 4WHEEL PARTS-OFF ROAD SHOP. No sour grapes from these guys...the spot the problem and fix it. read more

Poor service, nice people but poor service. Had an appointment for an oil change I was told it would take an hour. My wife and I walked to the shopping center across the street from Less Shub and returned an hour later. My car wasn't touched yet, the gentleman behind the counter said that they were busy and had two new workers. As I was given this excuse a woman came in and said thank you for squeezeing me in at the last minute. Looks like this woman was given my appointment spot. I complained, it was done, but when I got home I noticed oily hand prints on both sides of my fenders and on the front trim of my car...what the hell, never will I go back, I'll go into reno to get my oil change and buy my tires or any other work that needs to be done on my car, PISSED OFF. read more

Chris and his crew have helped the Watson clan out a few times over the 2 summers. We had a hard to find trailer tires that he actually had in stock with the best price in the county! Thank you small town tire shop for being large and effective! The second was a trailer rim that was never correct, rubbing against the interior frame and Chris actually had that in stock too! Get out! Mounted them last year and saved me from a blow out! He advised me at the time of the tire mounting the the bearing felt a little worn. I said, "they are supposed to be new!" This year the bearing blew up! Just DO what Chris says you need!, even if he had to do it in the rain! Worst rain storm ever, he wanted me to wait while he replaced the bearings in the storm of the year and I took the chance and lost a year later. Saw Chris out to dinner one night, he couldn't walk by me without greeting me by name, shaking my hand, checking in on the tires and wishing me and my family a good night. Came in with a blown tire on my travel trailer. Cant believe how hard these guys worked to get me back on the road. Friendly, helpful, showed me why the OEM Forest River tire blew; tread separation in the heat, factory tires overloaded from the get go. Actually the other 3 were showing signs of failure due to tread separation. Bought 4 tires. They said I needed 10 ply, not 4 ply and I agree. I bought 4 new wheels and came into Les Schwab to get my current tires switched over and balanced. Turns it, it's "not possible" to have my current TPMS sensors transferred over, and it "wasn't possible" to mount tires without them. They told me I had to buy new TPMS sensors at $62 per tire. All in all, they wanted $500 for the work. (And then $80 for an oil change. Mind you this is for a Ford Fiesta) Found a place down the road that would do the tire work for $138 out the door. Stay away, these people are either trying to rip you off or have no clue what they're doing. Response to Chris: Not interested in doing any business with a company that lies to potential customers. read more

I have always experienced great service with Les Schwab and this location is no exception! They charged my battery and ran an engine check on my Dodge all for free and extremely quickly. They also noticed a loose connection with the battery and fixed it so now as a young college student who normally relies on her father to fix her vehicles, I feel stress free and confident that they will help keep me on the roads for good! read more

I got a flat tire in the canyon on CA 70 about 40 miles out from Quincy last weekend. After a stressful tire change with my two toddlers in the car, I made my way to Les Schwab in Quincy. They were so nice and quick. They fixed 3 punctures in the tire and didn't even charge me. Les Schwab is proof that there are awesome people in the world. Vacation sav ed! With my wife and a couple of friends we were on our way to Bucks Lake for a few days of R&R. After a stop it a local market my car would not start; dead battery. We were trying to figure what to do next when we spotted the Les Schwad sign a couple of blocks away. We walked over and told Christopher the assistant manager our story. To my surprise Chris stopped what he was doing drove us back to our car, jumped the battery and followed us back to the shop. There he sold and installed a new battery and had us on our way all in less that 30 minutes. 5 stars all the way. read more

My mom and I went there today because the "check tire" light came on in her car. We pulled in and as soon as we did a very nice man came right up to the car and my mom told him what happened. He had us pull up into the bay and he and two other very nice men checked all the tires and filled them to the appropriate level. They then told us how tires fluctuate when it's either hot or cold out. My mom offered to pay them as she would have happily paid for their time but they said said there was no charge. This was a super pleasant experience and I had to share! My mom said that we were treated just like the advertisement for Les Schwab says they treat their customers! Yay for amazing customer service! Driving home from camping at Bucks Lake my tire went flat. We called and got directions and headed their way. They were prompt, polite, and got us back on the road with a new tire in 30 minutes with no appointment which was wonderful as we had four dogs in our car and had a three and half hour journey back to the Bay Area ahead of us. Tristin was excellent and his customer service was beyond expectation. The owners were adorable, too, taking picture for their store. Great atmosphere and team. We picked up a 3-inch screw in our right front tire while up at Bucks Lake, and we were sure we'd have to spring for a new tire. Not only did Justin and his crew fix our tire, they refused any payment -- unbelievable! Last September Ron at Les Schwab Tire Center was amazing! We had damaged our double-axle travel trailer at Haskins Valley Campground near Buck's Lake on the first day of a 3-week camping excursion. After receiving our call for help, the owner Ron arrived promptly with his big truck and all the gear to remove the damaged axle and wheels. He had a great reassuring attitude and immediately went to work. As soon as he got back to the Les Schwab Tire Center, he tried to order an identical axle. Unfortunately he learned that the axle was no longer being manufactured, so he figured out the next best way to get the axle made and shipped. We had AAA tow our trailer off the mountain and into Quincy after Labor Day when the holiday rush subsided. Ron assured us that we could leave our trailer until the new axle arrived. Honestly, without the great people at Les Schwab (Ron, George and Chris), we don't know what we would have done. We were 200 miles away from home and couldn't pull our 27-foot trailer back on only one axle and two tires. We were disappointed about not being able to make a much-anticipated trip, but the best part of our shortened trip was Ron and his staff at Les Schwab.
