I've been there twice in the last month. First I went there for a tire repair. They were welcoming and quickly made the repair. The second was for brake replacement after they began squealing. Again they were super helpful and got me right in. I dropped it off and the repair was done in a timely manner and the cost was what they had quoted. No surprises. Yesterday afternoon I went into the store to have a tire taken off of a rusted damaged rim. I was quickly greeted by Tanner just as I got out of my car. He quickly took my tire into the service bay and said that he would have in done very quickly. I then went inside to pay for this for this service. I was then surprised when Tyler told me that there would be no charge. By the time I had walked back to my truck Tanner had already put the tire in the back of the truck. I took my utility trailer in to have and was told that you don't install wheels and tires that weren't bought there. I know this is a lie, just last month I paid to have four used tires ( not from Les Schwab} on my friends Ford truck. his name is Allen McRoberts ford pickup (paid by me}. So your man there lied to me and that pissed me off. So I took it to The tire Factory in Newport and had no problem installing them. I want to start out saying how much I love our local Les Schwab! Every time, and I mean every time, I go in for an oil change, tires, or other miscellaneous stuff, they greet me by name, with a smile. I recently took my car in to see if they could tell me why my VSA and brake light was on. The service guy brought over the computer, and within less than 10 minutes had solved the issue, at NO charge! This is the norm for the Toledo Les Schwab. I am a customer for life! rip-off now..not the business it used to be...Les has passed on and now the business is run by lawyers...it shows in their no customer service and always trying to sell something more expensive. I Have actually been lied to here. Took flat in for supposed free flat repair, they said it was unfixable and would have to purchase a new tire. I refused, took the tire to Beggs of Philomath where they fixed it for free and it holds air perfectly. They have done several things like this in the past few years. I used to go to them for everything, now I will look elsewhere. read more

Well after my first review here I got desperate and needed a special tool to remove my new cars lug nuts I went here to buy it and they said they might have one I waited for them to check and found they didn't have what I needed and now this is why I give them one star the special tool I needed was just a square socket wrench drive extension bar fits right in and works how could they not of known this... went to napa instead sorry les schwab but I really cant do business with you anymore least not at the toledo oregon location don't mind driving the extra miles to hit the one in newport oregon though they are great haven't let me down yet. If you work on your own car do not ever go here I've had two experiences here that were terrible the first time I bought new tires from Newport Schwab which I do recommend them, but the Toledo one would not rebalance my two front tires absolutely refused even when I showed them on the warranty where it says free rebalancing for life!!!! Anyways so this time I had both front wheel bearings done on my Jetta cause it requires a press I don't have and they both came with warranty and I had just replaced the driver side CV axle, so when I get the car back it's great I drive it a while 30 days maybe if that and notice the steering doesn't feel right again I go to check the new CV axle nut and they fucking changed it with a 12 point 32mm which I didn't have the socket for and it's finger tight so I'm pissed I took it back and explained to them to either change the nut back to the socket size I have so I can tighten it or tighten it for me they refuse again and deny changing it , this goes on for a couple months until finally the new CV axle threads are so badly damaged i had to replace the CV again so now I notice the new wheel bearing had really bad slop in it I put the new axle in tighten and take it in they insist it's fine and safe so I take it back a bunch more times due to noise and wobble and not feeling right steering they still say oh no it's fine, so finally I've drove it till the new bearing is now about to come off and take it to Newport Schwab and they finally say oh yeah it's really bad don't drive it that way and oh hey I'll warranty exchange it sweet deal not!!!!! They call Toledo to ask about the new bearing and Toledo tells them I had replaced the CV and do not warranty the bearing I'm like what the heck!!!! It was their fault the CV had to be replaced they refused to correct the issue even though I brought it up a dozen or more times and now I'm just screwed and to top that off they want 355$ to fix it again which I already paid!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't go to Toledo Schwab. read more

This is a message to Capt. H. The toledo les schwab is a waste of money and it their customer service isn't very customer friendly. I personally go to Les Schwab in Newport. I haven't had any major problems there. The only problem I had is some of them(younger workers) shouldn't drive a manual, when the clutch is wearing out, if you drive a automatic you will have no problems. read more

Went to this store today, had to jump car battery was dead. Asked if they could check battery and tell me if alt was working. Was told they could not help me, was told I should go to newport to have this checked? Will not return to this business. Recently helped relative obtain credit at this store, but I will retract this. I have gone to les schwabs in the past for a variety of things, but they have changed or at least this store is unwilling to provide good customer service. read more

My husband is in Idaho hunting and my low tire pressure indicator came on this morning. It was dark and rainy and I just want the problem fixed. So I pulled into the Les Schwab Tire Center in Toledo around 7:00 AM. I thought they would be opened, but they don't open until 8. Lucky for me, one of their kind employees (Glenn) saw me and asked me if he could help me. When I told him that I needed air in one of my tires, he said "That's easy! Just pull into that middle bay over there!" In just a matter of minutes, he had my tire aired up and me on my way. Glenn didn't have to help me. He could have just told me to come back at 8. Personally know how this business is ran wouldn't use this location if I had too would rather take off a tire and walk to the Newport location. This location is terrible with terrible customer service very poor management skills and the way they don't tell you everything about your purchase, warranty , and or the down payment or ordering process any way they can make a few bucks or hundreds of dollars off you they will try to sneak into your pockets and steal every last dollars you have for there "promised" " best tire value promise" wouldn't mind to see this location closed downer a better management team brought in to actually run it how a les Schwab should be ran read more
