Have gotten 3 tattoos at this shop and every time I've felt very comfortable, welcomed and safe! They are moving locations soon so can't wait to see the new space. The artists and guest artists who work here though are very good at what they do. Extremely talented and chill energy. As a women I love that the staff are all women, poc, and LGBTQ+. No intimidation vibes like other shops I've been too. They also have a plethora of snacks and hydration pre and post tat if you need it. This review is solely for artist Alex K. I booked 2 tattoos from her flash tattoo sheet and sent a $50 deposit via IG. The appointment was booked for February 17th. The tattoos were for a fan and a bow. The fan approximately 3x3 and the bow was gonna be about 2 in. I got to my appointment and Alex arrived about 10 minutes past our scheduled time. Although she is very nice and polite, I think that part of showing professionalism as an artist is being prepared for your client. I still had to wait another 20 minutes for her to partially set up. I still felt comfortable, we talked about both tattoos and she said she would start with the fan. I do want to point out that I asked Alex if she was ok with tattoing the fan on my inner bicept area where I have soft somewhat saggy skin due to weight loss. She said it wouldn't be an issue and we got the stencil placed and she began. Alex wasn't interested in having a conversation with me, she was having conversations with the other artists which is totally fine. I'm not the most talkative and I do not expect artists to hold a conversation on top of working on a piece of art. After about 2 hours, I noticed the pain was increasing but I was ok with it (I have over 20 tattoos all over my body so this isn't anything new to me). Once I glanced at the tattoo, I noticed my skin was raised and very red. I believe Alex is still an apprentice so she had another artist come and check the tattoo after the 3 hour mark and that artist advised her to stop on that tattoo since the skin was very red and tender. Alex said we would do the bow on my next appointment and for the fan I'd have to wait about a month or so to continue the tattoo. I was totally ok with that even though it's something I've never experienced. Fast forward to March, Alex sent me a message on IG asking if I wanted to have the tattoo finished by the shop owner Mari. I told her that if she felt comfortable finishing it herself, she could. She responded with availability for the last 2 weeks of April which didn't work for me so I asked for the first week of May and she has yet to reply. For context, my last message was sent April 13th and today is May 11th. At this point it's clear to me that she doesn't care about half axxing a tattoo. I'm now looking for another artist that will finish my tattoo. Although this review is for 1 artist, she is a reflection of the shop. I will not be back here. read more

I was a little hesitant with going bigger, but they convinced me and I'm happy with the turnout. I think we're going to go for a half sleeve. I'd not mentioned that when I contacted Juno about the lines falling out that their response was to block me and remove all tags of my images from their posted portfolio. See copy of my message regarding anxiety and lines fading away. While looking for a new artist to finish our project and to eventually repair the fallen line work (when it's done fading away everywhere it will) parts of my arm has been referred to as hamburger meat. The moth which looks so sloppy will scar badly I've been told and is the worst damaged area. I was also told that they worked too long and then Should not have reworked the overworked skin again the next day. I have also learned right away from a Rocklin CA tattoo artist that they had already had a Juno Client come to them with a similar tale. Their bee tattoos were ones I never saw on the profile so they must have known they weren't good and not to share them (as had happened with mine). They blocked that person instead of responding as well. I wish they had left a Yelp review!! I posted a share all video and tagged the shop but they have not reached out nor has anyone even apologized. Running and hiding from it has been the apparent plan. read more

I booked an appt with Chy in the beginning of 2023 to get a Persephone tattoo on my upper arm. From booking process, communication, scheduling, actual tattooing, and end result the entire process was smooth and exceptional. I love the quality of work and the tattoo. It's one of my favorite pieces. 6 months later I booked another project with another artist, Baylie - and that experience was the worst tattoo experience I've ever had. She was not transparent about her policies, not prepared, and did not have the skill set to complete the project that she initiated. I tried to rectify the situation privately, but was gaslit. Fortunately, the owners of the shop rectified the situation when Baylie chose not to. Chy and Mari have created an awesome and safe place for all people to get tattoo'd and pierced. They take a lot of pride and ownership in what they've built and they are quick to fix situations to limit harm caused. Chy was amazing to work with, and Mari is a vibe at the shop although I have not worked with her personally. read more
