My husband I wanted to get a couple small tattoos together so we booked appointments with Greg (the owner) and his apprentice, Emma. Emma was really patient doing several attempts to get the placing I wanted. I had originally reached out to her on IG and she responded quickly and was flexible in the scheduling. Greg has done most of my husband's ink so he's always great to work with. I was also happy that while we were figuring out placement Greg gave some pointers that helped us decide the best placement. The shop is clean and there are some well lit spots for taking photos. I love my newest piece and it was small enough that it only took about 20 minutes for the whole thing. I went here on Sunday to get my dad's dog tags tattooed on my shoulder. After much deliberation and research, I decided Greg was the guy. He squeezed me in on his day off, and was soooo nice about it. It was my first tattoo, which he understood and treated it as such. He made sure to let me know to tell him if i needed a break. The tattoo itself, came out BEAUTIFULLY. He spent a lot of time drawing it out for me, even before I decided I wanted him to do it. He put in a lot of detail and even had some suggestions to add depth (cuz my idea was soooo simple). It was incredibly reasonable for the size, detail, and color. Only $120! I had a stupid tattoo on the side of my ribs, just a small heart but wanted the stupid decision covered up. Typically I would have gone to Famous, but since he's working from his house (which is creepy in itself) I decided to give Leo at Victory Ink a chance. Needless to say, I will never, EVER, go back to Famous!! Leo took my walk in, drew up my design in about 15 minutes & asked me to come back around 7-7:30 to do it. I came back around 7 with a friend, they took her walk in as well, and then started mine around 8. Leo made sure I was comfortable on the table - some places have you take your bra off while getting a side piece, but Leo told me to just get comfortable so I didn't have to be exposed to a stranger. Such a gentleman! Rib cage is a painful spot to get a tattoo done, so when I say it hurt, that shit hurt! Most of the lines and shading was bearable, but towards the end it started to get extremely painful by the top of the skull, near my armpit. Leo saw I was in pain and told me, "I'll be done soon, you're a champ, you got this" so I knew I better not break out in any tears... Because I'm a champ. Lol. My friend and I would have loved to have actually been able to give a good review of this place but they made that impossible, literally. We walked in, were not acknowledged by the individual chatting it up. We looked at the books for a bit thinking maybe one of the other charming folks would at least see if we needed help, had an appt, wanted a tattoo, or two, but nothing. So, thinking perhaps they were all so swamped with the two people in the shop, 1 actually talking about getting work and who knew who, we sat down to wait. Two people that had been behind the counter walked out, passed where we were sitting near the door, again, nothing. One walked back in, again, nothing. We sat for about 20 mins total and NOTHING. So we decided perhaps they didn't need our business and left. It's a shame because we both wanted a tattoo right then and there and I needed a consult on a full back piece, but they clearly don't need business and are already rolling in the dough. read more

I've been looking for a good place for walk ins since my primary tattoo artist is normally booked up for months and months, and I just wanted 3 really small tattoos. I walked in with my coworker after we got off work, and Sean was amazing at helping us figure out our tattoos and where it would look best. He was super accommodating to any changes I wanted to make with my tattoos, and never made me feel like I was being annoying for asking to change the size. The other guys in the shop also made me feel really comfortable, as I've had bad experiences at other tattoo shops with men making inappropriate comments and acting weird towards me, so the change in atmosphere and attitude was really nice. I got 3 little tattoos by him, and it was literally done in 5 minutes. The price is amazing for the quality you get with these talented guys, and I will most definitely be back for more.
