When I first bought my home I found them through a search. I like the idea of a small local business helping me with my pool care. I started by using their "Pool School" They came out to my house, looked at my equipment and walked me through how to care for it all. Ongoing, I take samples down to the store for them to test and they give me plain language description of what I need to do. They are always asking how the pool looks and feels.....as the tests are only part of the equation. Also, these guys are super fair....on several occasions they have advised me that something I needed is going to be cheaper through Amazon, etc.....they looking to be fair and keep your business. They always seem to have what I need on hand otherwise. Great Job!

They ignored my request for repair of concrete steps and added expensive equipment replacement and duplication. They also advised overhaul of filter that had just been done by someone else. The inspector obviously did not look at it, just selling more service. AND, they do maintain their work or have pool service. The below was sent to them by email. I am disappointed that you don't provide the service that I need and you took my money for evaluation. It resulted in only stating obvious work and was just an advertisement for you to do the work. I don't typically attempt repairs when it comes to water or electric so when my pool pump died I…read moremade some calls but being Christmas week I only got one company to even call me back. The company couldn't commit to a day to come and give an estimate. Then I saw a listing for the Pool Pump Guy in Longwood so I gave him a call on New Year's Eve and he texted me right back and asked me to send him a photo of my Pump. He told me how to easily and safely remove the pump from the filter and the power supply. I was reluctant to do so but he gave easy to follow steps and within 10 minutes I successfully removed and brought to Jay's shop. Turns out my pump was badly damaged from pebbles that got into my filter and pump. Solution: Jay ordered me a brand new pump and I had it the next morning at 10. Jay set it up in the shop with new gaskets, lube, and reconnected my power supply then gave me simple, safe instructions how to reconnect. Total time to reconnect the pump was about 15 minutes. Only needed a screwdriver to connect the wires. Powered up and wow! Everything worked perfectly. No leaks, no trouble. And the suction power is phenomenal! The pool system has never worked this well before! Jay is a genius at his trade and was able to instruct me how to do this myself, safely and quickly and saving me hundreds of dollars and a lot of time. I wish every repair business was as honest and helpful as this one. I highly recommend Jay for any pool pump!

After corresponding with Aadvanced Leak Detection they said they might be able to make the repair without having to excavate through the deck which would be the only other option. Unfortunately they did have to go through the deck. Troy made the repair. I found him to be very professional, hard-working, and in the end restored the deck to near perfect. All I had to do was paint. The repair was done in a reasonable amount of time and there is no more leak!
