I purchased a closeout robotic pool cleaner about 14 months ago. it recently quit working and i was well aware that since i bought a closeout unit that the warranty was expired. I went in half expecting to buy a new unit ranging from $600-$1500, Chris the manager helped me and got me a new part that was broken for no money. I purchased a new pump for my pool, Leslie's installed the pump it was a multi-speed Internet Pentair pump. A week later I went to store to purchase an extra basket for the pump, I like to switch out basket and let debris dry for easy removal. Was told the pump was so new the parts will AVAILABLE for as least six months. I ordered one the next day on AMAZON?? And these guys are saying they our pool experts? read more

Went to Leslies today at 6740 Boulder highway, Las Vegas, NV. Needed new tires on my Hayward pool robot. Had the good fortune of working with the Assistant Manager, Alan. Totally professional. Got me the tires and put them on the robot for me. No additional charge. Didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need. Great customer service and honesty. Rare commodity these days. Highly recommend Leslie's at this location. Ask for Alan the Assistant Manager. Great guy and knows the business of pools. read more

i visited this location after a previous location sent me here because they didn't have what I needed in stock. They quoted me a price and said they would put my name on it. I arrived and was greeted with Scott who was rude from the start! told me I could find old parts like mine on Amazon! Then said I shouldn't be rebuilding the pump I should spend the $1300 on variable speed pump. I explained it is for a water feature, then he looked for my part and found one then said it was in ver $100 more than I was told yesterday! stay away from here! read more

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because they do have a decent selection of stuff if you can find it yourself because there's never a helpful employee around. I had the displeasure of dealing with the store manager twice and he was condescending both times, I brought in a part off my pump and he didn't know what it was and I told him and he said "we don't have cheap knock off crap like this" and didn't even try to look it up or see if they could order it. I'll gladly return to the Leslie's on Lake Mead Pkwy where they at least know how to interact with customers. read more

Poor Customer Service I called because my pump was leaking and making a loud noise - waited a week before they came only to tell me I needed a seal replacement because it was leaking and the noise was the impeller & needed to be replaced - he didn't have the parts and would order them to return in a couple of days. Over 1 week later Jonathan again, came to fix it and when he was done proceeded to tell me I needed a new motor (that's what the loud noise was, not the impeller). I told him he didn't mention it the first time and got NO RESPONSE. He said he would order one and I have heard nothing. Calls to Leslie's local fall upon deaf ears. Calls to 1-800 Leslie's got me 41 minutes on hold then 22 minutes on hold only to be hung up on after all that time. I chose the option to leave a message 3 times and still have not got a phone call back. Stay way from Leslie's...try someone else! read more

I went to 2 different Leslies to find a filter cartridge for my pool. I was told at first one they were out but Boulder Highway Store had the filter I needed so we drove the 30 miles to get it. After paying almost $200 for it and getting home, it was a bear to install. It was the wrong filter. Since it was wet, I was stuck with it so they knowingly sold me the wrong filter and will not refund my money. I will no longer buy anything from any Leslies store. They are a bunch of crooks. read more

I can't say enough about Jason and Dave always very helpful and knowledgeable about any problems or questions you have about your pool. My pool is clean and sparkling, take your water and they will test it for you for free. They stock everything you need . I had to replace my cleaner Jason recommended this one and it works fantastic if your having problems with your pool go and see them . read more

Two thumbs up for Audrey at Leslie's Pool on Boulder Highway. We went in with a broken pool vacuum. She immediately started taking it apart and was able to quickly determine what was broken and replace it while we waited. What great service!!! So happy that we did not have to leave it and return another day to pick it up. Also, very grateful that we were not coerced into purchasing a new vacuum. i believe that Leslies Pro is fair. their prices cannot be beat. a pool service company would charge u 3 times the amount. im loyal to leslies pro cuz they have never let me down. i bought my pool filters leslies online and i picked them up at leslies pro. easy peasy, and saved a Huge amount of money! as well as when my pool pump seized (shizzz) another pool service gave me one option, one quote with a HUGE price tag (yicks). when a pool pump seizes, surprise! lol. so, i need as many cards on the table for options as possible so i may chose what is right for me in the moment. Leslies Pro came out, honest, gave me 3 options to chose from regarding my seized pump. leslie pro is hired, its a no brainer! so i am paying a QUARTER of what the other service company wanted to charge me BIG TIME (with the nv power rebate already added!) with no options. read more

I had the extreme pleasure of accidentally stopping by this store (on the opposite side of town) and having a fantastic experience! The gentleman who helped us was "Jay" or "Jason", This was yesterday 5/8/18. We were in the Pro side if that matters? I have been so aggravated with Leslie's by my house (Centennial) that i was so not wanting to go into another Leslie's!!!!! Instead of standing in line for 20 or more minutes (that is how Centennial store is) We were immediately greeted by a representative named "Jason". And he was pleasant! I must have looked shocked! He went above and beyond anything he needed to do, crawled up to get down a large box of filters just for me to look at. He answered a lot of my questions and he was very knowledgeable! I walked out of there smiling! And believe me, I still do not like the one in Centennial Hills. I Will gladly drive 20 miles to go to this Leslie's! If you know what you need already, need ZERO information or assistance from an employee whatsoever, and they just happen to have the best price, then by all means, purchase away. Now if you even dare to assume you deserve a greeting or one meager slice of EFFORT from any of the lazy, pass-the-buck employees, then by all means run in the direction of 'AWAY' as fast as you can. I am not new to pools, have owned and self-maintained and repaired all but my concrete and plumbing myself. All I needed to know was the Up-rated Service Factor for a generic model of my pool pump motor which is starting to go. I know what I need already. EVERY GENERIC AND BRAND NAME POOL PUMP MOTOR HAS THIS AND EVERY OTHER CONSUMER-RELEVANT SPEC TIDBIT PRINTED *RIGHT ON THE MOTOR'S LABEL* - SMACK ON THE BELLY OF THE PUMP, CAN'T MISS IT. SO, WHY IN HEAVEN'S NAME, WOULD I BE TOLD TO "CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER DIRECTLY"? A) Surely, it is FAR more work for me to contact another business when I am right here, now, with you. B) If you don't have my pump handy (maybe it's lost in a Raiders of the Lost Ark sized warehouse), SURELY THE NEW-FANGLED INTERWEB COMPUTER IN FRONT OF YOU HAS THIS DATA ON FILE??? C)You do know the SF is on the label right? You do know what a service factor is right? Do you know what year it is? D) The ONLY reason I even NEED to ask you (because, Google) is because your listings online frequently have data from 2 or more additional, unrelated, and very different part numbers all listed within the same product description. (I. E. my 2HP pump is called a 2HP in one place, a 1HP in another and a 25HP (um, ya, NO.) in another. Obviously, this is both impossible and idiotic. Oh yeah, I forgot frustrating. SO, I CHOOSE TO SELF-VERIFY THE SERVICE FACTOR FOR THIS PART NO. JUST IN CASE IT HAPPENS TO BE SOMETHING OTHER THAN WHAT I EXPECT IT IS. SO.... This is usually the part where we explain how the 'team member' attempted to resolve the matter. I won't use names because MAYBE this person is actually an alien in a human suit. And because I don't want them to know who wrote this. (Yes, I know from their eBay store feedback (ID: a1_superdeals) and believe it or not, similar past experience with someone else, that this is a COMMON OCCURRENCE. The "that isn't my department" and "sorry I'm new and a manager isn't available" games are frequently afoot. And ya, sorry I literally have nothing to write about a resolution to my bad experience. I was just told "that's how we do things" basically. I still use A1 pool and spa.... sorry "Leslie's", for occasional needs when their painfully average prices happen to best all other outlets. But, IF I can shop for an item at 92 other places first, I gladly would in hopes of avoiding this disorganized, high employee turnover chain.
