I was very impressed with the staff at Leslie's Pool Supplies in Spring Hill especially Wayne Hernandez. Recently, I have been having issues with my pool. It has been consumed with a lot of dissolved solids, causing it to remain green. Wayne, Ben, and Kevin highly recommended several products to take care of the problem. Wayne specifically explained step by step instructions on how to clean the pool. By clarifying various questions for me, I was easily able to do what he recommended. Furthermore, over the holiday weekend (Memorial Day) when vaccuming my pool, I thought I had a leak. I called Leslie's Pool Supplies and Wayne offered to come over and look at my pool. I didn't expect a house call on a holiday weekend but was very grateful! Not only did he clean my filter but called another associate Kevin at the store. He instructed him to bring over the Algae Green Clean product and shock as well as sending Kevin back to the store to get a chlorinator and capsules. WOW! WHAT SERVICE! This in my book was tremendous customer service and professionalism. How many people would go out of their way to do this - NOT MANY ! To top it off, there was no service charge for his visit. He assured me his business stands by the algae free warranty and he wants to expand his customer base. These people really know their business and have everything you need to fix any pool problem you may have. My pool had turned into a Green Swamp and we weren't sure what we should do, but we have been going to Leslie's for everything for several years now and I went to them for advice. Sure enough, Wayne Hernandez, the store manager, knew exactly what the problem was and gave me the solution. Green algae has apparently been rampant in the area due to many possible causes I imagine. Extreme heat, very high humidity and daily rain storms plus me not keeping it up as I should have. Shocking occasionally and cleaning the filter was not what I should have been doing. He told me exactly what the problem, why it was happening and how to fix it in detail and in what order. I put in the chemicals he specified and followed his instructions to the letter and before the day was through, the pool started looking much better. Ran the pump overnight and double shocked again after 24 hours, the pool was now a beautiful blue again. I had the water checked again by them and got instructions to do one more shock to bring the chlorine level back up and now it's ready to go. I would highly recommend this business location. I moved to Spring Hill in August and visited this location to service our pool. The manager Wayne Hernandez was extremely helpful. Every time we visit that location he has been kind, and friendly. He is always looking to assist by making suggestions that won't break the bank as we are newly retired. We have had a couple issues with our pool and he has helped us on both occasions. We were referred to other companies in the area, however after dealing with the manager at this location we no longer feel we need to search out other businesses. Wayne knows pools! I had been a customer of another pool supply store for five years but the chemicals from there seemed to be of a lesser quality recently and the help did not know anything about pools, only how to ring up a sale. I heard good things about Leslie's Pools and stopped in. Wayne gave me a crash course (with handouts!) on how to keep a pool crystal blue.
