I had to take my Polaris 955 sweep in for repairs. In an ongoing set of issues and repairs lasting over 3 weeks due to need of multiple parts and a problem no one had seen before the folks at Leslie's Vacaville have been great. But I want to make a special mention of the regional manager Pierre Issa. Pierre was the first person I dealt with during this set of repairs and issues. He is dedicated to getting the issue fixed right and has gone so far as to come test my sweep at my home at the end of his work day when he could be on his way home because the test bench equipment couldn't find the problem and replication of the issue I was seeing outside the pool was not happening. We've been coming here for about 10 years, never had a complaint. There is an ad in mail talking about a service special that is $69 but when I called to make an appointment, you claim it was a typo and it should only be 20%. Well guess what buddy? You're supposed to honor the mistake. The fact that I've been on the phone for over an hour and half getting the runaround isn't gonna cut it. I may have to find another pool place.. read more

Worst customer service! The girl behind the counter was too lazy to look for o ring sizes and said go to ACE hardware instead. She needed make model of equipment as I'm standing there with old rings, too lazy to walk over to wall filled with bags of o rings. I'm at ACE now! read more

As a retail provider of customer service I am very critical of Customer service.I received the worst possible experience with Leslies Staff yesterday. I walked in and all associates were busy helping other Customers, I understand that but not one person Acknowledged me while I patiently waited. A couple came in behind me and the clerk spoke with them and told them that they would be helped next when I said that I was next, I was told that i would have to wait for the next available associate. I want to thank Steve the Manager and his staff for the great customer service we got today, when our family walked into the store we did not have any knowledge of of how to clean our pool, Steve greeted us right away and gave us all the info on how to maintain our pool the right way and gave us advice on how to use our new pool sweep that we purchased from Leslie's, as soon as we got home I connected our pool sweep and it worked great, I am excited that we found a store that sells all kind of supplies for our pool and that has the great customer service that they have shown us today. Horrible service. We paid for the part they told us to buy in order for they to fix our pool skimmer. We left our skimmer there and after 3 days we returned to the store and the skimmer was not fix. The store employee told us if was going to be ready in less than a day. They took 3 days and still was not fixed. I will not come back there. read more

This place is wonderful. I went in because my pool was green, one of the employees Jordan knew exactly how to help me out. He thoroughly explained what I needed and how to solve the issue. And then even better, he carried everything I bought out to my truck! I would 100% recommend this store, Jordan knows his job extremely well. read more

Really disappointed that when I went in to buy a pool float that was advertised at two different places in the store as being $10 off, they wouldn't honor that as it had "expired". Good business practice and the law says you honor the deal when it is your error and you leave signage up in your store with that promotion. On top of that, the employee was incredibly rude and condescending. Not impressed and won't be back. read more

Bad vibes. I've been coming here for, 10+ years and this is the last time. Two ladies were there and I understand they were with customers but they just looked at me and never said anything not even a smile. I have been a long time customer and I bought an o-ring for my pool sweep and it was the wrong size. I took it back and did not have the receipt. The clerk looked me up in the computer and there it was. He said i can return it unless I have a receipt. There it is under my account and no way to use this. This guy was not experienced and told me that was all he could do. I gave him the o-ring and said keep it and asked him to delete my account and wipe my records clean. I will no longer be a customer and can't recommend anyone shop here. To add insult to i Geary I bought 35 lbs of chlorine for $91.00 and asked for acid. He told me the store was out??? After 13 years and thousands of dollars spent i will now be taking my business to Demaray pool supply in Vacaville. We recently purchased a booster pump. Literally opened the box and put it back in. We returned it and were charged a restocking fee of 15% . I work in an industry where parts and mehanical devices are sold and returned daily and either no returns or there will be a restocking fee is printed clearly on the front of the invoice. The disclaimer that Leslies has is in very light print on the back of the receipt And oh yes. Above the register above your head where no one sees. Shame on me for not knowing where to look. I get corporate policy but in the name of good business and customer service i asked why the sales clerks can't advise on this policy when high dollar items are purchased. Purely focused on their own sales. Not to mention the fact that each time I've been here the individual employees lack any semblance of customer service. Condescension and lack of interest are the only responses you will receive if you ever have any questions. When I worked retail we were encouraged to go the extra mile for our customers, but I would be fine with the employees simply trying but I suppose that is to much to ask from this store. read more

HORRIBLE customer service .My husband bought a pole for our net. Within 3 weeks this pole had broken. Because of the size of the pole we couldn't return it right away so we dropped it off at the store and they told us the manager would look at it and call us back. 4 days went by before anyone contacted us. All they would offer us was 15% off our next purchase. We had just spent 160.00 a few days prior so the 15% did us no good. I called corporate after a day they called us back and said that we had to bring it back within 14 days. I explained to them that we could not return the pole because of its size right away but the pole had broken well before we brought it in. The customer service rep. was standoff-ish and had a bad attitude. SHe spoke to the district manager George Ortiz, he offered us 15% off a new pole which would have been $6, we paid 29.99 for the old pole! Plus we had just purchased a $50 pole to replace the old one. So that didn't help us out at all! I just looked at their website and they guarantee customer satisfaction if you call the customer service line. This is NOT TRUE! I wasted 30.00 on a pole that lasted 3 weeks! Stay away!!!!!!
