When he did speak it was clear he had done his homework. His primary concern was to make it right. J.R. spoke a little about his business and how he wants to continue to build on a core of trust. I'm paraphrasing a little here, but that was the gist. He offered to reimburse my charges associated with the pump installation. It was at that point I became certain this business was operated by a sincere person. Instead of taking the reimbursement it seemed the thing to do was to give them another chance. My Nissan pickup had some trouble with its heating system. It seems my vehicles coincidentally both had problems with this system. Anyway, they fixed it quickly and without incident. J.R. would not accept payment for this work. I will continue to bring them my business whenever possible because they have earned it. Regardless of the impression I had after my first visits I have come to understand fairness is one of their core values. Sometimes it's the second impression that is most reliable.

And I had them service the CVT fluid on my wife's 2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6R. Later, she brought it in because the electric window (passenger, front) wasn't working. Danny (owner) advised it was a battery problem (weird!) and charged only $60 for troubleshooting. Yet, we'd not have given a thought if he'd have charged us hundreds. The only deal I'm interested in is a) accurate, honest diagnosis; b) competent workmanship; and c) paying only what I should pay, for work that was needed and that was done right. After spending the night in a parking lot, and getting it running decent, we headed back out. Within minutes, we smelled something burning and the truck started missing worse. We found that the plug wire had been burned off. Looking around, we found we were in a parking lot next to a sign for Dee's Auto Repair. We walked down to the shop and found that it was more of a specialty repair but he just happened to have a set of plug wires that a customer had not wanted after having theirs replaced and he gave me two of them. He would not let me pay him anything at all, but i did give him a couple of cartons of Little Debbie Snack Cakes that I had brought along to share at the race. Thanks to him, we made it in and were able to have an enjoyable weekend at the races. It turned out to be an exhaust leak that burned the wire.
