From the very first visit, I knew we had found our forever groomer. The service is truly amazing. The team always treats MILO with such gentle care and patience -- he actually looks forward to going now! Their customer service is top-notch too; they're friendly, communicative, and genuinely care about your dog's comfort and happiness. Yes, it's a little pricier than some other places, but the quality, attention to detail, and peace of mind are 100% worth every penny. MILO always comes home looking (and smelling) fantastic with perfectly trimmed nails, clean ears, and a fresh cut. If you love your dog and want him treated like royalty, look no further. I dropped my Goldendoodle off at 1:00 PM and specifically requested a teddy bear cut and asked that he not be cut too short. I was told the groom would take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. After 3 hours, my dog was still not ready, and when I arrived at the shop, I was told it would be another 30-40 minutes. My dog was not finished until nearly 4 hours after drop-off. When the groom was finally completed, an employee came out and asked how I would be paying. After I told her Zelle, she said she wasn't sure what my total was because the groomer who had checked me in was not answering his phone. Instead of helping me check out, she began working on another dog while repeatedly calling and texting him. At that point, my dog had already been there for 4 hours, and I was left waiting another 15+ minutes just to find out the price. I was ultimately charged $135 for a 25-pound Goldendoodle. I've paid less than that for my Giant Schnauzer, and even less for a mobile groomer who comes directly to my home. To make matters worse, when it was finally time to leave, staff could not locate my dog's leash or collar and had to ask me what they looked like before finding them. The biggest disappointment was the haircut itself. I specifically requested a teddy bear look and not to go too short. Instead, my dog's coat was cut extremely short, especially on the body and face, and the final result looked nothing like what I requested. The entire experience felt disorganized from start to finish. Long wait times, confusion regarding payment, misplaced belongings, and a haircut that did not match my instructions made this a very disappointing visit.

We've called other salons closer to home, but their prices are much higher, and the quality and service here keep us coming back. In all our visits, we've never experienced any rudeness or negativity quite the opposite. The staff has always been professional and welcoming. As for the cancellation fee some people mention, it's important to be realistic appointments here take hours, and that's valuable time set aside specifically for you. It's completely fair for a business to protect that time. We personally do our best not to cancel, but when something unavoidable comes up, we understand and respect their policy.     I've been coming to Pawlish Paws for over 15 years, and they have always provided good service…read moreuntil I brought my Bernadoodle in for grooming. My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

They always do an amazing job, and my dog comes home looking absolutely perfect every single time. What stands out most is how patient, kind, and caring they are with him. Goldendoodles can be a lot of work, but they take the time to make sure he's comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire grooming process. You can truly tell that they care not only about the quality of their work but also about the pets and owners they serve. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure your pet has a positive experience. It's such a great feeling knowing I can trust them completely with my dog. I was also informed that my dog would need to remain in a cage indoors for two hours prior to grooming, which had not been explained beforehand. I then scheduled their mobile groomer for the next day, but no one showed up and there was no follow-up or communication. This experience was extremely unprofessional. I would NOT recommend this business.

BEWARE!!!…read more I'm writing this review to you today because I had a really surprising and frankly, pretty disappointing experience when I brought my schnauzer in for her recent grooming. I was really hoping for a specific type of service based on our chat beforehand, but what happened wasn't at all what I expected. When I booked the appointment, we talked quite a bit about getting her that classic, breed-standard schnauzer cut. That particular style is super important for her look, and I was assured that you guys were totally skilled in doing it. That's why I felt comfortable bringing her to you - I really trusted that his unique grooming needs would be met. So, imagine how shocked and upset I was when I picked her up and found shed been completely shaved! Her signature schnauzer coat, which defines her , was just gone. It was such an unexpected change and definitely not what we had agreed upon. When I asked about it, I was told it was because of "severe matting." And honestly, I have to strongly disagree with that my dog had some matting on her chest area and spout but nothing to that extreme of completely shaving her down . But more than anything, what really threw me off was the lack of communication. If there was genuinely a problem with matting that meant you couldn't do the schnauzer cut we discussed, I really, really wish I would have got the heads up about the complete shave down and given the option to take my dog elsewhere . A quick heads-up would have allowed us to talk through options, or I could have even come to pick her up. Making such a drastic, irreversible decision without my consent is a big oversight and a bit of a disregard for what I wanted for my pet. This whole situation is more than just a styling mistake; it feels like a real letdown in trust and communication. Seeing my dog like this is quite upsetting, especially after I went out of my way to choose a specialized service. In addition I was charged 80+ for the unauthorized shave down and according to the lady I was also charged for the muzzle they used on her !! Given this rather unsatisfactory experience, I'm sad to say I won't be able to bring my dog back to Nancy's for future grooming. And honestly, it makes it hard for me to recommend your salon to other pet owners looking for reliable service. Please see the photos 2nd photo is how they left my dog.
