Hot bun sandwich, seems they used a hamburger bun
    Rohit G.

Not a great experience here. We were excited to try their new "Hot Bun Ice Cream Sandwich". The photos made it seem like ice cream would be sandwiched between sweet buns or a donut-consistency bread - however, it looked nothing like the photos, and it seems that they actually used hamburger buns, which smelled pretty bad. On top of this, they left the ice cream sandwich in the sandwich press for a few minutes, so the ice cream significantly melted before we even got it. Finally, they charged extra for a tiny amount of canned whipped cream to be added on top without informing us first it would be an extra charge. We will not be back.

Great job dealing with a large group of costumers. It was great, there was one dude working and he still did amazing.

This was my first time trying rolled ice cream and it was so good! I basically made a death by chocolate using chocolate ice cream with Oreo, brownies, chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup for toppings. The staff member took her time to ensure she made the ice cream properly and it tasted so good! I also liked the option to build your ice cream once you got there using the monitor. I was in and out in 10 minutes.

    Tiger milk boba

Got a tiger milk boba. The drink portion was ok (hard to mess that up since mostly just sugar) but their boba absolutely ruined the drink. May have been worst boba balls I've ever had...consistency, texture, and taste were way off. Wanted to support but maybe let the Asians (not Indians) stick to boba.

Cute little dessert shop in Irving. They have falooda, ice cream buns, and rolled ice cream. If you stick around you can play one or their many complimentary board games like scrabble or jenga. The desserts are over the top and a perfect answer to any sweet tooth.

This place is so delicious! The staff is super friendly and their menu has many options to chose from!

This place is so delicious! Their staff is very friendly and the establishment is super clean. There is so much to chose from the menu and I can't wait to be back!

It took so long for this ice cream to come out on a Friday night that I don't want to like this place...but it's just so good! The service was friendly and apologetic, which I appreciate. The rolled ice cream was awesome. I love the way they decorate with candy and chocolate, sending this dessert over the top. This is a treat for sure and one that I found myself coming back for 2 days in a row. Parking can be tricky at night, as this lot is shared with other businesses and busy restaurants. There is limited seating inside, so you might have to take yours to go.

Good place and good ice cream! I do recommend coffee flavor, first time come. Order through machine. About 9$ a cup ‍

However, it's prominent because what they do well is quality, tasty tea. I went in with high recommendations for the location from friends, and they met my expectations wholeheartedly. The girl working the counter was free to answer my questions. I would like to note that customization isn't really an option here, I tried to get the honey oolong tea with fruit added in, and she told me they couldn't do that which is perfectly fine just something to be aware of! The inside is very artful, it's fun to look at with the large centerpiece in the middle of the café, and there's ample seating to sit and chat with friends or get task done. I really love the packaging of the product and being able to carry my drink by the handle they provide. My beverage was ordered with no ice, and filled to the top which if you ordered a drink without ice before you know that isn't always common so I was really glad when I received it! I had a good time, and service was quick. I was in there no more than 10 minutes from ordering to receiving my drink.

Then you have some higher tiered places that brew fresh, infuse, focus on flavors and not sweetness. I find this to be a bit of both in that most of their drinks are sweet despite having sparkling water drinks that are decaf and they have sweetness levels. I've come here a few times and noticed very little difference between their levels depending on the drink. The thai milk tea at 25% sweetness tastes like the ginger milk tea with 50% sweetness and the matcha latte at 75%. There is a perceived sweetness. At first i'd go full sweetness on everything and then i started knowing which one's tasted best at what levels. The trick is to add the milk foam to a 25% sweetness to accentuate the sweetness without actual sugar. As a Filipino i'm glad they havent bastardized Ube like Starbucks did, and also not mad they leaned into the Matcha craze. Sea Salt pearl dessert is good, but could use better balance in flavors/texture. To be honest when I'm craving an actual dessert I'd rather go to Andy's for a sugar rush, so I come here for the jasmin apple grean tea, kiwi basil green tea with sparkling water. I like their oolong's and earl grey. I'm not a big fan of their dirty boba To me I never go full ice or no ice. No ice doesn't provide correct dilution and regular leaves a more than half full cup of ice at the end. Less ice keeps it cold, dilutes it until the end. I found the Vietnamese coffee to be a little weak and not the usual kick in the face. Prices are pretty good, rewards system is nice. Portions are solid. Decor is clean, nice, family friendly, great for gathering, but can get crowded. Service is hit or miss, they seem unconfident in their drink making and order taking, either they are nervous at how busy it can get or aren't efficient in their process. The wait can be long regardless of the line. With the lack of competition and the fact they don't have any glaring weakness it's a solid spot for the outskirts.

The Dirty Boba with crème brûlée foam is a must-try, and the pearls are always perfectly chewy. I also have been loving oolong with sea salt foam! Plus you can customize the sweetness (50% is my sweet spot) to keep the tea flavor front and center. Spotless shop, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for your next meetup or tea date!

This review focuses on my most recent visit for bubble tea. My Overall Rating - 4 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - You'll find Milk T Bar tucked away in downtown Carrollton. There's a decorated wall adorned with some neon lights perfect for posting photos of your drinks to your favorite social media feed. There's also a wall of Post-It-Notes. Go ahead and leave a note for your future self. Heads up, Milk T Bar is very small. There's only one table so if it's taken you'll have to look elsewhere. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I've never had any issues with the service here. Nothing but good people. 1 Star. Food - On my most recent visit, I went with the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Unlike other tea shops, I wasn't asked to modify my sweetness level (I normally do 50%). No need because Milk T Bar's version of the Brown Sugar Milk tea has the perfect level of sweetness. The boba were perfectly cooked, were soft, and did a great job soaking up the milk tea. Best of all, my tea starred in a photo posted to my favorite social media feed. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I still need to sample their taiyaki and take more photos for Yelp. Milk T Bar blends great service with great teas, so yes I'll be back. 1 Star.
