After 25 minutes we checked in our food and was told there were only two staff working. The person behind the counter was working her tail off, was doing a fine job, and I felt sorry for her because the staff issue isn't her fault. It was lunch time and there were quite a few people there. This is the second time with an Eat N Park establishment in Monroeville that we've encountered poor service due to lack of staff. The bowl also comes with cilantro/lime sauce, which I do not get because it's very salty. That's my one complaint about Roots - despite their healthy ingredients, their bowls can get quite saucy and salty if you go with the default options. This particular location is well-staffed, so service is usually quick, but it can get a rush of students around 12pm.

The one downside is that with the high ceilings and nothing to dampen sound, it can get really loud .
