Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with. Full On Craft Eats Annapolis, not to be confused with Rockville, is an experience you will want to repeat again and again. Good food fast that travels well (yes that is a thing). A great addition to any table worth gathering at. I did it twice in one day!!

If I had the space here, I'd write an entire series detailing the exceptional accolades of my experience at Level (Volume 1 could just be about the hostess because her service alone made this a 5-star visit -- starting with offering to come out to the street and point out places I could park!). But since you're probably hungry or your an events manager like me and need info fast, I'll make this quick: CHOOSE LEVEL. --Choose it for drinks because they pour the best from their signature gimlet to their Bourbonapolis, and the scene itself is absolutely divine in sleek decor and warm in cozy furnishings. --Choose it for dinner because you won't find fresher, more flavorful food that's sexy but still substantially filling anywhere in the state (and trust me, I looked into everywhere else). Although be warned that it's not easy to choose a food as it's all amazing, but try starting with the Cubahn Mi Rolls, Fried Brussels Sprouts, St. Louis Style Ribs, Nashville Hot Chicken and Seasonal Cheesecake. Then try the rest! --Choose it for THEIR COMPANY because you will never meet a staff -- from the hostess to the servers to the bartenders to the chefs to the busboys to the owner (yes, he made an appearance!) -- that not only exceeds every restaurant service standard ever written, but who also carries a collective warmth in their personality, splendor in their spirit and all-around aura that will make your night far better than you could ever expect (and don't be surprised if they become recurring characters in your favorite memories of the event overall). --Choose it for YOUR COMPANY because that's what we did with our annual "fancy" party, buying out the entire restaurant for the night for what will now be known as the best party in company history. Maybe it was the raw bar and the ribs and the fried & roasted chicken that did it... Maybe it was our open tab -- which, we might add, literally stayed open for us 3 hours after we had originally told their staff we'd be ending just because we were having such an incredible time... Maybe it was the space which was gorgeous and perfect for spreading out but staying together (if that makes sense)... Maybe it was the cost which, all things considered with our upper-crust of a menu and drink orders, was very very fair... Maybe all those things came together and made for a magic that can't be described in words (although clearly I'm trying here!)... Maybeeee there's one too many maybes, so let me end with something of which I'm positively sure: you will not work with a more outstanding team of people whose talent and fun-loving energy come together to take your experience to the... wait for it... next LEVEL. I would not typically write a review about a restaurant that isnt about a restaurant but here goes. Heidi S:. level has not participated in restaurant week in over two years. on the front door, the name of the restaurant clearly reads, level a small plates lounge. you felt "mildly gyped" because of the small plates at a small plates restaurant? 10$ for a drink is very reasonable considering they are hand crafted with real ingredients. other places charge 10 for a martini that has only vodka and vermouth. value equates to different people in different ways. 7:00 dinner on a Sunday night 2 weeks ago. Kind of disappointed - mostly a place for more than 2 people as you may have a hard time ordering enough variety. Ordered the steak skewers - tasted funny maybe not fresh. The shrimp gumbo was very small. The gnocchi very tasteless. Actually the shrimp would have been good on top of the gnocchi. The flatbread was good but that's a pretty easy dish. All and all we were disappointed not at all up to the farm to table hype thing and a very far cry from places like Woodberry Kitchen. We also felt kind of sick mixing all those different flavors - like a cocktail party .Cocktails are good - a bit contrived by funky serving vessels. Mine was in a copper tankard - yo ho. Service was great a little annoying with enthusiasm and education but never the less very attentive and Perky. Was a slow night - waiters were standing around at the kitchen window. Atmosphere is really nice - old brick walls and wood floors. We'll come back if someone else is paying and it is a bigger group. read more

5 stars!!! I have friends from Annapolis so we come down from College Park every couple of weeks to visit. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. We came in this weekend and had some drinks. Gimelt=Fire. One of the last times we came down was during Pride Week and they even were doing rainbow sprinkles on the Gimlets :'). The cocktails are ~amazing~ and the food is so yummy!! Our server said the menu changes seasonally and their Chef goes to local Farmer's Markets to buy produce!! Quite literally "Farm to Table"!!! They even cure their own meats!! Also, the staff is very good about sanitizing everything especially since COVID and I've noticed they put hand sanitizer on the wall in each dining area. The kitchen crew is visible from across the restaurant downstairs so it's always cool to see them working and see the food come out super fast. The food is always so fresh and plated very nicely!!!! Such a fantastic little place! My husband and I go here all throughout the year - and the food is seasonal and always amazing. We're lucky to be local and can walk there. We love the "farm to table" aspect of it and love trying out all the new small plates. Plan to spend $100 for two people for 4-5 small plates and a drink each. The service and staff are always nice and on top of it. We tried a cocktail called "Angels and Demons" last time we were there - and it was a little too spicy for us. They brought us out another drink for free and just told us to give the drink to someone else at our table that liked spicy stuff. Who does that? Atmosphere is cute... and they do fun stuff for holidays. We go there every valentine's day because they really turn it into a romantic/fancy place with roses on every table, dimmed lighting, and quick professional attire/service. While we love their delicious small plates, it's their unique cocktails which keeps us coming back for more of both! Step outside your comfort zone and order a drink that just sounds fun, you will not be disappointed! Also, check out their amazing selection of farm fresh cheeses to finish off your meal! My personal drink recommendation is a variation on one of their signature cocktails, the 360 Gimlet, which is a vodka based drink...for a REAL treat substitute Ron Zacapa Rum instead of the vodka! When mixed with the fresh lime juice then top with a homemade Lime Foam Froth and then garnished with fresh grated lime zest...OMG, so so so good! read more

Wow. From the top, let's talk about the cocktails... nothing but hits at this bar. Gimlet, a classic. Autumn Spice, a very unique rum drink that just begs to be drank. And the Bourbonnapolis: a knockout mixture of beautiful Woodford Reserve and fruit flavors. I loved all three, and Adam the Bartender is an incredibly gifted mixologist. The fries blew me out of the water; a seemingly simple side with elevated flavors that just drive you wild. The steak, paired with another Bourbonnapolis, made for an excellent main, and the spinach side made this veggie hater a lover. And to end the night, the banana bread pudding with coffee icecream was superb! Eric and Lexi were incredible to work with: responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day special. We had a party of about 30 celebrating a big event, Randall and Cassidy were absolutely superb. They really showed attention to detail and genuine care for their customers. From the food to the drinks, everything was flawless. I work in the restaurant industry so my standards are quite high, and this was one of the best meals & experiences I've had in a long time. It' hasn't been easy eating out during Covid but this evening a friend and I decided we needed out and decided on Level. What a great choice! The restaurant is clean and everyone was spaced out inside the restaurant. Our waiter Easton was very nice and prompt with his service. The food was absolutely delicious. The Chef has taken his plates to a new level of sophistication. I highly recommend the cookies and milk. I know it doesn't sound like much but oh my goodness those cookies were amazing! I've been coming to level for 2 years with my girlfriend almost every month. We absolutely love it here! The regular menu is absolutely amazing and we can always count on the special menus to make our day. This past week we came in with a party of 12 of our friends, as we wanted to share our special spot with them. The hostess, Katrina, made sure that our table was ready for us even though we got there early and took our jackets for us. Great place to do dinner with out of town friends. It's a fun and swanky hot spot in Annapoiis that is a great place to start out the night . Great food (LOVE the brussel sprouts w sauces!) Very busy upstairs and downstairs so be sure to get a reservation. Great in summer time with open doors out to the street. Went a fourth time recently and loved it. Went here for dinner and was extremely impressed by the food and atmosphere. We had the 3 cheese Mac n cheese (I can't explain how amazing his was), French fries, crab potstickers, and hummus. All caped off with the chocolate chip cookies. The food was fantastic and we left stuffed. The only negative I have would be no free refills on soft drinks, I ended up paying $6 for iced tea. And the small plates were, on the whole, excellent. The tuna tartare was the night's best dish. It was hot and spicy, with a lot of flavors. It's a tasty dish. If I had to make one complaint (aside from an overbearing waiter), it would be that as our meal progressed, the club upstairs began to fill up, and the music in the dining room was switched off at one stage, leaving us with only the thumping club music from above. No longer what it was. First: the bathroom was repulsive. Filthy. There is no excuse for that. 2 of 4 dishes we ordered were burned. We sent one back and the crab cake we ordered as a replacement was decent but VERY salty. The gimlet was ok but also not as good as it used to be. And I used to rave about that. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed yet simple and the waitstaff were very friendly. We ordered the octopus bites for an appetizer and they were delicious. We also ordered the sourdough bread which is made there on site...again, delicious especially with the French butter. Our main courses were also very tasty and the timing between courses was impeccable. We will absolutely be eating here again as we want to try their fixed menu. Plenty of parking as well.
