Hi Masha B was giving me cryotherapy sessions.I was suprised how tiny the room was at 401 Broadway.Masha was always late and it tested me as your time is important.Last day of treatment she was 15 minutes over with a client.I had to confront her.Masha replied its my client? What was I? Be leary as she does not have an estition license.I would not want someone who is NOT licensed do treatment on me.Especially my face. During the christmas holiday she got covet.I found out when we were sharing holiday chat.She did not inform me as I would have rescheduled for a later time. Really not worth it!!! read more

I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place. I have been floating twice and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has helped me SO much with my depression, anxiety and PTSD symptoms. You literally feel weightless and you are with your thoughts and you can meditate and be in your safe place. It truly is a healing experience. I definitely recommend it for anyone that has tried alternative treatments with little to no results. The staff is super nice and guides you through the process in a professional and quick manner. I wanted to write an update to my earlier post because I was finally able to get a very satisfactory resolution regarding the numerous inquiries in trying to contact the spa. The owner reached out to me and she was very apologetic and courteous. I think the way she responded was very professional and first class. My low review was focused on the communication issues during the pandemic and not the actual float spa experience. When I have gone, the floats were wonderful, relaxing, and clean. I want to ensure that I let followers of my review know that I plan to visit the spa for another float when things return back to normal. read more

Dillon assisted me and was well versed at educating me... most importantly calm my nerves. "It's like being back in a mother's womb," he described. Hopefully, not my mom's womb ‍. The room: C-L-E-A-N My experience: The first 10mins were tensed to relax. Partly because I kept thinking my big head couldn't be sustained by the Epsom salt... I opted for the neck pillow just to get my mind off it and relax my clenched vagina. Once that happened it was euphoric, my subconscious was aware of the sounds in the water. Soothing. Post float: I was very calm and spoke seldom words. Thus, finally slept through a night. I recommend this for children with sensory overload, too. I needed this. You need this. read more

Only responded to me after I left a negative Yelp review, however ignored my NUMEROUS email attempts and phone calls. I emailed 3 different email addresses, including her personal email (which I have, as I have had previous issues before- will detail this later), and the submission form on the website. Zero response. They will totally avoid you so they can keep taking advantage of your recurring membership fee. Eventually went to my credit card company and disputed the charges. Do not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere, these are greedy, shady, bad business practices. Masha is not a good business owner whatsoever. *Previous problems included: -The location was closed on several occasions, despite the fact that I had appointments. -The rooms and tanks I reserved were not available. -no one working at front desk upon arrival, only to find out the owner is there, but instead of working reception is getting a massage? -Terrible customer service. read more

This was my first time trying the float pods and neruo-spa after. The ambiance was warm, but very small lobby and neruo-spa chair area. The worker was knowledgeable and walked us through the process and what to do in the pods. There are switches in the pod for lights and music. The guest suite is huge compared to the pods, so if you're taller, I would recommend using the suite instead. I personally did not enjoy the pods, the earplugs that were given did not stop the water from going into your ears. I wish they had better quality ones, which would've made my experience better. The worker mentioned that they might not have enough hot water since we had a big group and told us to take quick showers, which I find off putting. I was pretty uncomfortable floating in the pod and bumped into the sides a few times. I ended my session short after 20-30 mins of attempting to relax. I also had neruo-spa session after floating, I noticed that they didn't clean/sanitize the chairs after each person. I could notice the BO from the previous person using it. Not a huge fan of it, it was basically different lights and music while the chair vibrated. read more

If you've never floated two things 1) you must and 2) it's weird. It's very hard to explain, 90 minutes felt super short and can't wait to do this again... No caffeine for me next time - to avoid the bathroom breaks. I felt like a space noodle just floating around Give yourself extra time to find a parking spot. I found it a little bit tricky since I wasn't familiar with the area. I treated my wife to a massage there as well. Sat and watched the cops come in and lots of drama go down. A horrible experience. If you're looking to get some peace of mind and relax, that might take a lot out of you. I booked an appointment with them only to go there and find out they couldn't find it in the system. I was sent back and my appointment was moved to the next day. Ok, I'll cancel my plans for this. The next day I got a call saying that the place is going through a deep-cleaning so if I come for my reservation, I'll be inhaling a lot of chemicals and won't have a good time. Why did they schedule floats that day if they were going to have a cleaning day (also why couldn't they tell me this the day before?). Anyway, they moved my appointment to the next day again. Ok, I'll cancel my plans for this. I reached for the float session yet again and found out that they messed up the schedules and someone else was in the float tanks during my reservation time even though they weren't in the system. Why?! Fix your scheduling system. I was asked to come back for an evening session. I am so sick of this. I've never had a worse experience scheduling anything. I have to cancel my evening plans for the third time for this. I came back in the evening to find out I was double booked with someone else again. But this time, the two receptionists were having a verbal argument, one got fired, the cops were called and there were a lot of curse words and threats thrown around. One of the employees finally helped. She was apologetic and helpful in assisting the floating experience. The actual pods and float were relaxing. The water in my the shower after the float was freezing cold. I hardly got 2 minutes of warm water to rinse off. Overall I won't be coming back here. read more

If you ever decide that you want to cancel your membership, get ready for a run around. I've had the same experience as Jeremy with the unresponsive owner, Masha. I've attempted to contact her (or any employee for that matter) for the past month to cancel my recurring membership with no success. If you attempt to cancel on the booking website, it tells you to call the spa's telephone number which is rarely answered and the messages are either checked or ignored. I finally reached someone with a pulse after calling fifteen times in a row (Excessive? Maybe, but if you're willing to ignore your customers and happily spend their cash then you're going to hear my complaint whether or not you're trying to hear it) and the employee said she had no authorization to handle billing and would pass on my message to her boss, Masha. Guess where this led me. I don't even have to say it, do I? Back where I started with nothing but a new charge on my credit card. Ultimately, I had to take the route of disputing the charge through American Express and have her merchant account blocked. ----TLDR; DON'T SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP.---- Unauthorized billing aside, how is the service? The reception desk is always staffed (when the employee shows up, that is - I have been cancelled on with less than 24 hours notice just like other reviewers - which is curious considering this place will take your money and run if you did the same to them) by a different person saying that they're filling in or doing Masha a favor as a friend. Whenever I have had questions the response is always "I'll leave a message for Masha, she'll get back to you." ...Right. Beyond poor staffing and disorganization, how are the facilities and the experience? Showers are usually out of either shampoo or body wash and the hot water supply is consistently inconsistent. Prepare yourself for a cold shock if you're enjoying a warm shower pre/post float. Flotation therapy itself is wonderful and I would recommend it, I would just take your business elsewhere. read more

I've gone to level for quite some time and opted for their float membership. Over the past few months their service has gone way down, as they now focus on new spa offerings and have downgraded the float experience. A few months made an appointment for a suite and arrived at my appointment and was told they overbooked as was given a pod, without notice, without apology, fine no big deal but slightly annoying. Last month, I booked a float experience and the person before me went WAY over their time. I waiting 40 minutes past my scheduled float time to get into the room! Now very annoyed. The receptionist told me the guy before me was running 5 mins behind to his appointment, so he'd go 5 mins into mine -- no problem. 15 mins go by, 30 mins go by...nothing. Staff was unapologetic. I've since cancelled my membership. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Floating at Level was a very enjoyable experience and I understand why friends of mine are into it. I'll be back soon as I've heard that you don't fully experience all the benefits until after a few floats! I've been interested in floating for a few reasons: * As an adult I've learned that floating is actually a restorative and healing experience. * Having sustained physical injuries to my shoulder and quads that cannot be repaired without surgery I've been interested in alternatives methods that may exist to relieve and heal injuries. * As a teen I was fascinated with the ides of floating due to watching Altered States and thinking that floating would cause intense hallucinations. Why haven't I done it sooner? * I've been unsure about what a float involved. * An hour seemed like a long time to spend in a confined space. * I'm normally rushing off to once place or another or back to work. * Can I really float in the pod? * How different is it than bath with bath salts? * Will I get salt everywhere? What I've learned about floating: * It's very relaxing and time flies. 60 minutes passed in what I perceived to be 10-15 minutes. * You can do yoga stretches while floating! * The pods at Level are spacious and do not feel confined. You can choose to open the pod slightly for additional air flow if desired. * Floating in a pod is completely different than taking bath at home with bath salts. * You truly floating in salt water effortlessly with no pressure points resting on any grounded surface. What I loved about Level: * Walking in Level is a beautiful tranquil space that has great ambiance. * Level provided a well thought out floating experience with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and a robe all in the float rooms. * Levels float pods are modern and large vs. some of the float box/tanks I've seen. * Level provided a clean and hygienic experience everything in the room was well maintained and cleaned. What I recommend for your float experience: * Level provides ear plugs which if used as recommended (put in your ears before showering) works well to keep salt water out of your ears. * If you plan to go out after floating bring some moisturizer and deodorant. * Level does provide a hair dryer, hair spray and qtips. * Drink some water and tea in the reception area post your float. read more

Loved this place. A very nice personnel, great facility, and a very relaxing atmosphere. I was not familiar with the neurospa experience, and decided to try it. I have been struggling with insomnia for over a year, and for the first minute or so I was worried that instead of calming my mind it will do the opposite. However, somehow I didn't even notice how I fell asleep and when I woke up I felt more rested than I do after a full night's sleep. I would encourage anyone to give it one try at least once. :) The only thing I would have liked though is if there were some curtains or dividers between the pods. read more

They do a great job of prepping you so you can get the most out of your experience, which was awesome for me since I'd never done this before and wasn't sure what to expect. You can choose between floating in a pod or a small room, with easy control over the amount of light and music. Excited about this place! We walked in a few weeks ago and the host gave us a tour with no pressure to book or buy anything at that time, which was appreciated. It was so easy to book online and we even did so the day of. I love that there are two options for float tanks. That definitely eased my mind when talking about trying as I am a tad claustrophobic. When we arrived we were asked if we were ready or wanted more time to have water and relax. We opted to get straight into it. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious and felt like a safe space. The float itself was an amazing experience. This was my first time floating so I thought I would give it a try. Wasn't sure what to expect or if I was going to like it at all but I had a great first experience! The place was really clean the atmosphere relaxing. The float was spacious in case you are worried about being claustrophobic and you have the option of having lights or music. I want to first start by saying that I have loved Level for years, and it was a genuinely wonderful place, right up until the pandemic revealed some shady business practices, as an earlier review from Trinity B. has described. At the beginning of the pandemic, I called and left a voicemail asking to pause or cancel my membership--I am a musician and have been hit hard financially by the pandemic, and, while I would have loved to support a local business by continuing to pay monthly membership fees while services were not available, I simply can't. Since March, I have CONTINUED to be billed every month, despite having sent emails and making calls--you are not allowed to make membership changes via your online account, which tells you to call the spa. No one has ever picked up, and the ability to even leave a message is gone, leaving me with email as my only option. No one has ever responded to my emails, either. This is either a business that is completely behind the 8-ball and horrifically disorganized, which is the generous way to look at it, but after 6 months of being billed without my consent despite having attempted to contact them, I begin to think that this is on purpose and is essentially a way to keep operations going by making it impossible for members to withdraw financial support. I will be calling my credit card company to address this; I am both incredibly sad to have to part ways with a place that has been a haven for me and incredibly angry at being a victim of deeply unethical business practices. read more

I've floated at quite a few float studios around the country and I must say that Level Float spa is one of the most relaxing studios. The moment I walked in my body began to relax - the space was beautiful, the temperature was perfect, and the energy was calm. I floated in one of the pods and loved being awoken by the beautiful light and music. After my float session the girl at the front desk asked if I wanted to try a Neurospa session, which was the best thing I've ever experienced post-float. You lay in a chair that uses vibration and light sensory therapies to help continue your relaxation experience. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Terrible. I called around 3pm to make an appointment for myself and my boyfriend for a same day appointment. I called in and booked two slots, and received a confirmation email. We showed up at the place only to hear that there's a slot for only one person. . ???!!!! And they gave away the last two 8pm slots to someone else. Lady at the reception said there was nothing she could do, so we left and booked two slots at LifeFloat in Cap Hill instead - their first time float is $29 vs $49 at Level Float. Awful service, giving away a slot that they already confirmed for us on the phone. Definitely not going there again. read more

Amazing float experience! I absolutely loved this place. Level Float provides a very impressive and uniquely calm environment from when you first walk in the door to when you are laying down floating. The owner Masha and her staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel right at home. I really appreciated how very clean and comforting the float rooms were. The float pods and suites themselves are very high end and come with adjustable music volume and lighting switches in each pod/ suite room. I've done sensory deprivation floating for around two years now at an average of 1-2 floats per month. At 26 years old, the main purpose of why I float is for the ability to meditate without any body/ environmental distractions. But in addition to a clear meditation environment, I also find that any muscle aches or back pains that I have seem to drastically subside during and after I float, which totally fuels my desire to go float again as soon as I can. I HIGHLY recommend Level Float to anyone who would like to take a break and relax from the busyness of life, you may be in for a pleasant surprise. I also recommend trying out an Energizing/ Neuro pod after a float. They are super cool! I was a bit skeptical at first but after trying a 15min session I found that I really enjoyed it. Definitely would like to own one of these. Felt much more awake and focused compared to before trying it out. Very glad I got the opportunity to visit here. Not sure how I feel about floating, but this place is nice and clean. This was my first time and I got a tour and an explanation on how it all works. The building was nice and quiet (granted it was early on a Sunday morning), the woman working was nice, and everything seemed clean and fresh, which was one of my biggest concerns.
