This place is faul when it comes to they're work. Fred the guy that works here made a deal on changing my control arms back to the original ones. I dropped the car off on SAT & SUN, the 26th and 27th to get the job done and turns out that when I arrived today to bring it back home, my car was to lowered to the ground. I was confused because my car wasn't like that .. I don't know if they didn't put my original shocks back on or cut it but my car is not positioned in the right height !!!! Then he said that it's all there , and I have a bad shock or spring. I never had a problem wit that. All he was going to do is change the control arms.. but he said he didn't do nothin. If u look at the picture the difference is there from it being at my house during the day, to me getting there at 7:00pm and it being way out of order on the wheels scrapping too low against the fender , and then says lift up the Jack. This is bs. Now it's to the point that he don't want to take responsibility so it's a report wit the police now.. I DONT RECOMMEND BRINGING UR PROJECT MUSTSNG OR CAMAROS HERE. They might be doing stuff u don't know .. report this incident tomorow. read more

I would highly recommend Griffin's Auto Repair. Dennis Muaka has worked on my 2005 beetle numerous times. He is extremely professional, very knowledgeable, honest, and quick! The value of his services are much better than other mechanics I have been to. He stands behind his work and won't try to oversell you on unnecessary add-ons. I called griffin to get an estimate for some suspension work. The price sounded fair and I decided to schedule an appointment. I drop it off in the morning and get a call a ahead of schedule that it was ready. I wasn't expecting such quick turn around. I was caught a little of guard when he offered a wheel alignment since I knew it was needed after. I was already planing on bringing it to wheel shop in San Jose after but was reassured they can get it done. Not having had any huge problems to resolve I can't provide a lot of info on such cases, however, Dennis has been friendly and professional, accommodating to our schedule, and reasonably priced compared to the dealership! There are lots of reviews being filtered, and ALL OF THEM are 5-star reviews. Take the time to click on "20 filtered" (or however many) underneath the bottom review. The link is gray and hard to spot. Yelp's filtering engine is obviously broken, filtering valid reviews as bogus. This is a serious problem hurting small businesses, this is not the only business I know that's affected by this! However a second engine fault developed after another 1000 miles and was a write off and it took a week for them to examine it at a cost of $250. The performance on an '83 GMC Van was bad after a smog repair at another station (a bad experience that I will not discuss here). After being refused by three alternate stations because they had fears / lack of experience with carbs and a fourth that spent too much time dwelling on the problem before even looking at the van, I finally found Griffin's - that's been around longer than any of them put together. Dennis found the problem; it was a major repair - and the van runs smoother now than I can recall.
