I unfortunately cannot recommend this business after the experience I've had with Cesar having my entire brand-new BMW tinted here. I originally brought my car to this shop to have the whole vehicle professionally tinted. Unfortunately, I had to return three separate times just to have issues with the tint corrected and the job made right by his technicians. I tried to remain patient and give the shop every opportunity to correct the work because I understand that sometimes adjustments are needed. However, the situation became much more serious after the front windshield tint. I discovered a long, deep scratch across my windshield that was absolutely not there before the tint installation. Based on the appearance and location of the damage, it appears that a blade or installation tool was dragged across the windshield during the tinting process. This is a brand-new vehicle, which makes the entire situation even more disappointing. After already returning three times over the tint installation, I am now having to deal with an insurance claim, repair/replacement estimates, and having the windshield on my new car replaced. I have tried to handle this respectfully and give the business an opportunity to work with me. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business responds when something goes wrong. I expected the shop to take full responsibility for the situation and help make it right rather than leaving me to deal with the insurance process and damage that was not present when I brought the vehicle in. I paid this business to professionally tint and protect my entire vehicle. I did not expect to make three return visits and then discover significant damage to my windshield. I have photographs documenting the windshield damage as well as records related to the tint service and the situation. I sincerely hope the business takes responsibility and works with me and the insurance companies to resolve this appropriately. If the shop ultimately makes this right, I am more than willing to update my review to reflect that. Don't trust your new car with Silicon Valley Tinting. Read this first. I chose Silicon Valley Tinting because their website promises workmanship that's "done once, done right." I paid $1,836 for front-half PPF and front window tint on my brand new, off the lot Tesla my first brand new vehicle (and dropped it off on June 16 expecting exactly that). My original priority was PPF, since Tesla paint is known to chip easily and protecting it was my primary concern. While my vehicle was at the shop, Cesar offered to install the front window tint as well, and I decided to have both services completed at the same time. Here's what happened instead: The driver's window tint developed bubbles, and I was told at pickup to return for a one-month follow-up. I texted Cesar on July 17 to schedule that follow-up. I received no response until after my husband called him, and I wasn't able to bring the car back until July 29. On July 29, the Andrew confirmed the driver's tint needed to be completely replaced because of the bubbles. I upgraded from 20% to 15% during the redo and paid an additional $50. After picking up my vehicle, I noticed what looked like a piece of lint or debris trapped under the driver's window tint. Andrew told me it would go away on its own. It didn't. I also noticed damage to my driver-side window seal that I had not observed before the work was performed. Andrew photographed it and said he would look into it. The PPF I paid a premium for still had a bubble on the hood. I brought all of these issues back to the shop. Andrew told me they didn't use any tool that could have caused that type of patterned damage but said he was "trying to get to the bottom of it." I then had Tesla Service independently inspect the window seal, and they provided a repair estimate of $126.90. I requested a refund in writing. Cesar responded that he would resolve the matter if it was determined to be related to their work and asked me to bring the vehicle back a third time for another inspection. We also spoke by phone, during which he disputed that the shop caused the damage and again asked me to return the vehicle. I declined. After one failed tint installation, a redo that still came back with a defect, a remaining PPF bubble, and damage to my driver-side window seal that I had not observed before the work was performed, I no longer had confidence in returning my brand-new Tesla to the shop. My final message requesting a refund from Cesar went unanswered. Even with a warranty on paper, I was not offered a resolution. One failed tint installation. A redo that still didn't get it right. Three unresolved defects. A refund request met with silence. Mistakes happen. What defines a business is how it responds when those mistakes are brought to its attention. I gave Silicon Valley Tinting a second opportunity to make things right. Instead, I was left with unresolved defects, no resolution that restored my confidence, and a refund request that ended without a response. I hope my experience helps you make an informed decision before handing over your keys. UPDATE 8/14/26: I posted my review on 8/12. The next day, another customer posted about a very similar experience with their brand-new BMW--multiple returns for tint issues followed by damage discovered after the work. Today, 8/14, I noticed NUMEROUS new 5-star reviews were posted. I can't speak to anyone else's experience or how those reviews came about, but the timing is certainly noticeable. Readers can make their own assessment. As for my situation, I told Cesar I no longer felt comfortable allowing the shop to work on my brand-new car and requested a refund for the tint. He and his team started with my car by a Ceramic Tinting, which was fairly quick (only a few hours, ate dinner and came back). Couple weeks later, I dropped off for the PPF and ceramic coating work. If you didn't know, they do a lot more than just tinting! It took an extra day, but it was worth the wait from what I can see. The car looks brand-new, arguably shinier than when I bought it from the dealer. Cesar mentioned that they had to ensure it was washed (twice!) and inspected before showing it to me. The pricing for the services was reasonable in my opinion, and reflect the quality of work well. You can tell they really want to make sure the work looks good and lasts. They worked hard to get everything polished and clean, and gave me regular updates on the vehicle while it was there. I drove 1 hr to get my new car tinted just to have to come back 2 more times because ig my windows can't be tinted properly the first NOR the SECOND time. What's even worse is that there were MORE bubbles the second time it was done. I was not going to come on here , but after what we have experienced I think people should be aware of this place. We took my mom's truck to get wrapped at this shop. At first guy was super cool until we brought the truck back because the vinyl was a complete disaster! (You can see the pictures) he said he will fix it but honestly the truck was the same poor quality vinyl. He failed to explain many things when we first took the truck! Being that we had already taken the truck a second time to him we decided to get a second opinion with another vinyl wrap person . I reached out to this company a couple of times and was quoted $280 both times I contacted them . I devoted to reach out again and was quoted $250 and sound was like ok well that's $30 cheaper then what I was quoted the first two times. I made the decision to just go ahead and make an appointment. So upon arriving to my appointment I was 15 mins late but the guys were there and waiting for me to arrive and ready to start the job . The main guy ( not sure of his name ) went over the different tints with me. I only wanted to get my wind shield and the two front windows tinted. He suggested that I should get the full car tinted even though my back windows were already factory tint. He explained that even though they are already tinted putting and xtra layer of time on them will keep the car from getting to hot inside . So I decided to get the full car tinted plus the windshield which from what he explained will be $180 for the windshield but $250 out the door for the whole car . So I'm like yes let's do it !! Left my car there with them not even 2 hours later the texted me and said my car was ready . When I came back to the shop my car was parked in front and I was happy with the out come . Went into the office to pay . I handed the guy $300 in cash thinking that I was going to get $50 back . The guy said " ok so you want to pay $300 in cash and $100 on a card ? " I was looking confused like what ? He then said the whole service was $400 . I have never in my life heard of anyone paying $400 for window tinting . And never did he once was the full total will be $400 . I was so upset because this was a Mother's Day gift for me from my son , and then I had to spend $150 out of my own pocket . I had no intentions on spending $400 on window tints . So I had my son call him when I got home and said that I can bring the car back and they can remove the tint off of the window shield . But why would I do that if that was the reason I came in the first place was to get my wind shield and front 2 windows tinted .
