This company did work on our yard through Randy Bass from Wonder Lake. We hired Randy's company for…read morethe project and he did the grading of our yard and he used these guys (I didn't even know that they were separate until last night) to supposedly spread new top soil base and seed our lawn. Well half of our yard did not grow any grass at all!!! We contacted Randy in late summer and sent him pictures of our yard. He said himself that it looked like crap and that they would be back to fix our yard. We heard nothing from either one of these companies the rest of last year. So, we contacted Randy in March to make sure we would get on the schedule early. Randy assured us that he'd get his landscaper (Don's "Quality" Landscaping) out to our house and get our yard fixed. Since April, week after week we were told by Randy that these guys would be out to fix the yard and week after week no one shows and no one calls. Last night Randy claims that Don's stopped out at our house when we were gone and said that our yard was fine and just needed to be fertilized and some seed added. Then he proceeded to tell me that they are not responsible for any of it!! I was also told that I should have watered my yard better last year!!! Unbelievable!!! I received estimates from 3 separate landscaping companies to fix this mess because neither of these guys were showing up. All three companies said that the original top soil base that these guys did wasn't thick enough to get good enough seed growth and more top soil needs to be brought in and yard needs to be reseeded. All of the estimates we received were over $2500 to fix this crap job!! Stay away from both Randy Bass excavating company and Don's "Quality" Landscaping!!! This is the most unprofessional and disrespectful experience we have ever had to deal with a company.

Gary and the guys showed up on time every day, never leaving our project to go to another job, and were professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and extremely talented. We love our new bathroom, and we are thrilled with the quality of their work. You can definitely tell the attention they pay to each and every detail throughout the entire project. They were also incredibly conscientious about making sure the rest of our house stayed cleaned, and made sure drop cloths were put down each day, and even taped off the bathroom completely so no dust would get in to our bedroom and cleaned everything up each and every day of the project. The estimate was detailed and very reasonable. They explained each step of the process to us, and helped with any questions we had. They even finished up a little ahead of schedule, and were able to complete a few other projects in our home, including added recessed lighting to our living room, and were able to come back a few weeks later to paint a few of our bedrooms and baseboards! Again, we are so happy with the work Cody Co did in our home, and will most definitely use them again, and are recommending them to everyone we know.

We scheduled an estimate with Edson, he was on time and polite and also we enjoyed Edson's honesty in his answers when I probed questions about ditra-heat flooring options. They seem knowledgeable enough to entertain our questions, which again we appreciated. That shows that they are willing to plan with us as opposed to others we have worked with that only does what they know how to do. They provided the itemized estimate/invoice, which is what we look for in contracted jobs. Check. And they were coherent in their emails, which is also a plus. It's nice to be able to physically walk into a location and talk to someone there. We are still on the contract stage but we liked what we see so far, even tho the price is a bit higher than other ones we've got. However, they seem to not have seen a contract before which is a bit surprising to us. We are waiting to see if their big boss agree with what we had down in paper, which protects both parties. I will update if we both decide to move forward with the job. Update: GFS responded to us saying they don't want to sign the contract. This kinda makes us raise an eye brow, because our generic AI drafted contract is super reasonable. Stuff like if there are any changes, it has to be communicated in writing. I don't get why. I think their refusal to agree in writing really makes us worry and doubt their reliability... we ain't about to drop $20k when there's no reassurance! Too bad I really liked the two people we talked to so far!
