The…read moreonly review for Kent Plastics is by a gentleman who was upset because the receptionist was "rude" in his words. He gave the company a one star rating. He has one other review posted and he gave that company one star for being "rude" as well. The review I posted was a very positive review, with 4 stars. I would have given the company 5 stars, but the owner/manager is my nephew. I couldn't be prouder of him. He cut his teeth Learning the plastic fabrication under his fathers expert guidance, and he has carried on the tradition of superb craftsmanship and "whatever it takes" repeat customer commitment and service for over 8 years since my brother retired. I've always had the highest respect for my brother and the way he managed Kent Plastics over 30 years, and I have the same respect for Geof. He has a very long list of very satisfied repeat customers. If you are looking at your first or 100th Plastics project, give Geof a call. You'll be more than satisfied from start to finish. I still believe he's worth 4 stars, even five. Maybe next time.

I have been on site of the business office and operations many times, have accidentally overheard telephone and in person conversations with callers and clients on many occasions. And I have observed both father and son in their commitment to excellence and customer service frequently. That said, I want to offer my perspective and observations on Kent Plastics as a close observer of Jeff and his father for over 40 years. The plastic fabrication business is a very exact and demanding business. Tolerances of every kind are very exacting and attention to detail is critical. Customers are not solicited. New customers hear of the high quality work, ability to consistently meet timetables, and proactive customer service from Kent Plastics very satisfied customers. People just don't call up and place an order at random. Most of the orders are custom and the reputation and quality of the company and the workmanship must be known in advance. On many occasions the small team of employees of the company have worked late into the night and on weekends to meet the needs of exhibitors and fabricators when they were in a bind, and the company spirit was always one of supporting their customers to the best of their ability. I could share more observations, but suffice it to say, I hold their business integrity, operations, and customer commitment extremely high. Giving them 4 stars doesn't mean I find any reason to not give them five stars. I would if I had an arms length association with the company and it's owner.
