I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and Kelly recently to sell my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. They came to my house and made the process extremely easy. I handed them the keys and they handed me my equity check and paid off the lien holder directly. I will work with them again in the future! Except the first time I met her in a PNW downpour the windshield wiper flapped uselessly like a limp handshake. Replacing the wipers was contractual. Basic safety. A correction to meet the State's prim-and-proper dress code. Still met with a laissez-faire attitude. When I picked her up, her glasses were still broken. I took the fix into my own hands--parts shop on the way home, a couple of tenners, a little elbow grease, done. Next up, the key fob. The emergency key was missing, the kind of detail that only matters when it matters. I brought it up, like an old lover who still believes a wrong turn should end with a nightcap and an apology. Instead, it turned from good cop to bad cop faster than a red carpet turns into a doormat. Then Murphy made a house call. The battery went low. She wouldn't let me in, like a partner who caught me gambling with the rent money. I used my one free call to get a locksmith to bail me out. Time and money burned on something promised on the first date. Next the check engine light blinked into life like it couldn't wait to hand me a bill and a lecture. Still loyal, I went back to them instead of the brand shop off the two one seven. One tip slipped across the bar after another. Reassurance she was safe to take out on the town without having to constantly look over my shoulder. T&C is the real deal. Ashley and Kelly were very professional and courteous and are not your run of the mill car sales folk. Each dealer I went to for my 07 Camry kept low-balling me. And with every dealer, when I suggested a different starting amount for negotiations, they kept giving me the - "we won't make any money off of your car, we're just going to sell it at an auction" - as if they were doing me a favor by taking it off my hands. But when I got in touch with T&C, they came out to where I lived, did the appraisal right then and there, and offered me a fair price much higher than the dealers. And I'm not talking just $100 higher. Way better than that! Once my wife and I agreed, they delivered a verified cashiers check the same day. Super fast. Super convenient. If you've been insulted by dealership trade-in offers and do not want the hassle of selling your car yourself, T&C is the place to go. After two dealers gave me laughable offers I prepared to sell my car myself. To determine value, I went to Kelley Blue Book where I discovered and tried the KBB Instant Cash Offer Program. This resulted in a quick email from T&C. While their pitch sounded good, I was still hesitant after my negative experiences. I'm glad Ashley stayed in contact. I haven't actually sold a car to these guys, but they have come out to appraise my car after I submitted a request through kbb. They've actually come to my house twice, for two different cars. They were professional and helpful each time, not pushy as I was kind of expecting. Seems like a good company. read more
