DO NOT EAT HERE'. Yuck! Another terrible night at North Pointe! We will never go to North Pointe again and I suggest you don't go to North Pointe either. I have tried time and time again for them to get it right but they don't. Their customer service is terrible. Their food is medicore at best lately and no one needs to deal with wrong orders consistently with crappy food which is what they do. We have ordered off the app multiple times and spend more than $100 a week at this location and every time we order the food is wrong and they have blamed us on how we order on the app. It's not our fault that the app doesn't provide them the right information. We don't control the app. Their management team and staff are terrible and they don't stand by their orders. They constantly get the orders wrong and then blame the customers based on their app. Absolutely ridiculous and we will never come back here and I will continue to share what terrible customer service this place has. Apparently the momentary time where they had good food and good service was just a blip in the night. North Point Grill - I put in reservations for 20 for Sunday, May 17 at 12:15. What we ended up with were 21 people in my group for lunch. Our joyful server was Jaimie, and she did a terrific job of keeping our drinks full, and keeping our orders correct. Our meals were very satisfactory for each of us. We booked the lovely patio for my brother's memorial luncheon. Jacob & his team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food was all from scratch and delicious. The building and atmosphere have been updated and have a farming tractor theme. The service was great and our server was friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was ok. I ordered a Philly steak sandwich with fries. It was pretty standard and tasted good- just not the best I've ever had. My husband had their BBQ burger with fries and had a similar reaction- standard but good but have had better. Pizza has gone down hill. Use to be so good and a must get!! Last night was back in the area visiting family and we ordered out the deluxe pizza and their breadsticks. First they told us a totally different price then it showed online and when we questioned it they said we were the second people to tell them that tonight. Then we get home and open the boxes and the breadsticks looked absolutely disgusting(see picture). Burned in the middle and so crispy. Absolutely nothing was on them. It was dry and hard bread, literally that's it. I can't even believe they would put them in a box for a customer!!! We called immediately and they said they would credit us, but we don't live here anymore. So they then said they would re-make us one. So we got back in the car and went back, couldn't even enjoy the pizza with our family. Got "new breadsticks" that I still wouldn't serve to customers. So dry and gross. Please save your money and never get them. Pizza once we got back of course was now cold, but didn't taste like it use too. So disappointed and will honestly never go back. I have patronized this establishment many times as I am a resident of the area. Most the time average, however I am getting sick and tired of having to have my food heated up. I do not have this issue at other establishments, so it's not just me. I will say that when heated, the food is good. Was also disappointed in not asking the price for a special. Got the hot beef sandwich, which turned out to be 15 dollars. C'mon, for a basic hot beef and to be a special. Plus of course it had to be reheated. Pretty much done with the North Point. We (2 people) went in on a Sunday Morning. It was so beyond busy and picked up on the fact the Waitress was the only one working. She was so on top of the game, always had refills when someone needed them, and had no time for herself to catch a breath. She was very kind and was serving about 12 other tables than ours with 4+ people in their group. Highly would recommend this place if you like delicious food, that comes out quick and a nice atmosphere. read more

Went there the other night now that its reopened. If you want great homemade food then you would be better going to McDonald's or Taco Bell. I ordered the Nacho, I figured it would be decent, nope. Liquid cheese, hamburger, lettuce and store bought salsa. No onions, green peppers, no real cheese, I have gotten better Nacho's at Taco Bell. My wife got a Hamburger, which the patty was frozen, the fries were frozen and undercooked. The worst part of the meal was how loud inside the restaurant it is. North Point is vastly improved from where it was a couple of years ago, both in terms of food quality and service. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially drinks/beer. They have lots of specials for both food and drinks, depending on the day/time. I really suggest you give it a try. The waitresses are very good, even when it's busy like when we came in last night (a Friday night). The fish dinners and steak sandwich are my favorite, and the pizzas are very popular, as I noticed lots of pizzas being ordered and picked up for take out. They also have Keno, which is a nice option if that's your thing. Great atmosphere and very fair prices make this a nice little spot that's well within your price range! read more

The Northpoint has been rebuilt since the fire and it's not bad. When it first opened back up it was much too slow. However it appears that issue has worked itself out. The nachos were simple, as well as the quesadilla. However the flavors were good. The service was good as well. No complaints. read more

The fries were freezer burned and soggy and burger tasted freezer burned and dry. The fried mushrooms were just something from Gordon's. All terrible. Threw it all away as I was too exhausted too go back and ask for a refund. It's a bar and you can't get those things made well. This used to be a favorite spot of mine. My family and I have been coming here for at least 30 years. I am disappointed with the new building, the service and the management. We have come here specifically for the Italian steak sandwiches. The sandwiches are just not the same in the new restaurant. I don't know if there was something special about the old grill in the kitchen that gave the sandwiches a special flavor, but the sandwiches are just not the same. They are way smaller than they ever were before. My family was not impressed. I have had a gluten allergy for 10 years and they always let me bring in my gluten free bread and made a steak sandwich for me. They no longer allow that. Then, my 5 year old niece ordered a grilled cheese and they served her cheese in between two butts of bread. What kid likes crust? She only ate the cheese out of of it. She also ordered chips and they brought her applesauce. We had to ask for her chips. The new building is bigger but crowded with tables and chairs and is hard to navigate through. I am truly sad this favorite family spot has gone down hill. I guess it's time to hit up Grandpa Tony's East side or Linwood Hotel for future steak sandwiches. Such a bummer! read more

Having grown up in Kawkawlin this place was a staple for me. My mother would be very disappointed to learn that I've given this place three stars. As my palate has grown over the years I still have a deep appreciation for greasy bar food from home but the food here was pretty disappointing to me. My partner ordered the "world famous" steak sandwich and found that it was nothing but a burger on toasted bread. I ordered the chicken taco salad wholly expecting iceburg lettuce and a deep fried bowl which I got along with about a pound of Kraft shredded cheese. I always have found memories of the food here and always visit at least once while in town and am always disappointed in my meal. I can't fault the establishment however, my tastes have changed, their food preparation has not.
