What a waste of time!!!! Today we spent three hours in the showroom of Levittown Ford to only walk out without a car. After we agreed a price and a lease amount, we got the insurance, we put a deposit and left to grab a bite until our new car was ready for pick-up, we received a call from the salesperson advising us that apparently there was a mistake and the deal we agreed had to change because they did not include the tax in the final amount that we agreed and they worked on three or four times!!! Basically they told us if we wanted the car we had to add additional ~ $3500 to the bottom line. You can understand our surprise and disbelief that in today's world of computers someone can miss something like that?! We asked to speak with the general manager on Monday, but instead we got a call from the floor manager who basically said that this was not a mistake but rather miscommunication and there was nothing they can do. It just felt like we were being taken for a ride and the lack of competence not only by the sales person but also the finance person was waved over as a simple miscommunication. At one point, they almost insinuated that the reason they made a mistake was us asking questions and using their online price as an example?!?! What? Use to be, when a business that cared about their customers and their reputation and they made a mistake, they would have gone above and beyond to do the right thing! I guess this is not the business model these days - definitely not at Levittown Ford. In this review I am not even including all the other anomalies that we witnessed and we were subjected to while trying to make our purchase. Also, I usually don't write reviews (especially negative), but today's experience was so poor and frustrating that I had to say something! Perhaps, if we as consumers, start speaking up and stop protecting mediocrity and incompetence with our silence, there will be fewer business who think that it is OK to threat their customers as wallets on two feet, and take ownership of their mistakes and work with their employees to correct such behavior. I am curious if the general manager will even read this? and if it does what is it that he will do? read more

This is probably the worst dealer on long island. I bought a car from here a couple days ago and have been back tot the service station 3 times already and this time its something they broke fixing the last issue and their going to have to keep my car overnight despite being dropped off at 7 am. 3 times back to the service station in 5 days is rediculous. When i took it there yesterday i was told over the phone i would have a loaner car when i got there, when i got there ,there was no loaner car and i was more or less told too bad take a cab. So thats what i had to do, After taking a cab to and from the place to pick it up today when i had to bring it back to have fixedf what they broke yesterday i finally got a loaner. a POS with a huge crack across and down the windshield. What is even worse is, rather then calling me and telling me it would take my car over night to be fixed they just decided to ignor that fact and not call me. I had to call and speak to a really nasty lady who answered the phone told me my car wont be ready today and then hang up on me. Ill be taking this dealership to arbitration under the nys lemon law. EDIT: spoke with the guy in the service center he was absolutely no help but the used sale manager paul was helpful in rectifying the situation after he called me out for making a yelp review. The salesman that I delt with was pretty good. Him being a vet, and me who served, he did the right thing by me. The service department is another story. Just took my truck in for the 5,000 mile service. The mechanic did not clean the oil that dripped on to the pan, which in turn, leaked on my driveway. He also got oil on my passenger seat which he never cleaned off. He left his oily hand prints all over my chrome grill, real dirt bag. I purchased a brand new Ford Explorer XLT. The vehicle came with a total of 4 chips where paint was on the 2 left side doors. The windshield had scratches. The drivers door window had a chip. I did bring it back to touch these things but without completely replacing windows - there is still evidence of the damage this "new" car came with. In addition - they manhandled and ripped off my old license places to put on the new car. As a result, I have badly damaged plates and now I have to go to the DMV to pay for new plates and spend what will likely be a lot of time at the DMV. I never had this issue buying Hondas, Toyotas and Jeeps in my past. Not sure if it's a Ford issue or just an issue with this one dealership. First and last time I will use come here for a new car. If you prefer new cars without damage, I recommend staying away. read more

My experience with Levittown Ford was a great one. I live in NJ, but prefer having my car expert friend with me whenever I'm car shopping (and he just so happens to live in Long Island). Ironically, Levittown was our first stop and we received an excellent price right out the gate. I, nevertheless, insisted on shopping the area to see what other lease offers were out there before deciding. After two full grueling days of shopping and dealing with the stereotypical car salesmen "shakedown", we ended up back at Levittown, worked with Chris Benson (he's very accommodating) and I got exactly what I wanted on price and miles. There was a bit of a debacle regarding the vehicle I was returning, but in the end it all worked out and Chris even returned my previous lease back to Sarant Cadillac personally. I am very happy with my lease and the service I experienced! Highly recommend these guys! read more

Bought a used HD truck from them. Paid top dollar because we were assured it came with a great warranty. Immediately the truck started having problems. Called Levittown Ford Service, with no calls back. Then brought it back and were told they would not cover most items (including the slipping transmission and 4wd not working). I am now $4200 into it for repairs that should be dealer items (I am not including wear and tear items). Bad people, bad dealer. The worst Ive ever dealt with. BEWARE!!! read more

He asked me a few questions to see what I was interested in and we talked about what I was looking for and he was awesome. He showed me a bunch of cars and went over all of the different features that each car had. He was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. After deciding on a car, Darnell took the time and patience to go over everything with me. After deciding to purchase a car there, the process was very easy. I would also like to mention that Fernando was a pleasure to work with as well. He was able to get my loan at a great rate and was able to answer all of my questions before and during signing my contract. I was in and out quickly and had a new car in less than 24 hours. Great staff, friendly and car is ready on time. So as far as service goes they are very good. However, my car should not have the problems that are occurring. I need a car that I can trust without having the car shut off, the car start hesitating, and the check engine light come on. They always get me a loaner while my car is being worked on, but my time going to Levittown and back with the loaner and then back again to get my car is getting annoying. I have to return the loaner with the gas tank filled to where I received it. Who pays for my gas to go to Levittown & back with my car - you guessed it - me. read more

This is the only yelp review I have ever written as I usually don't bother but this place warrants a firm "beware" for potential customers. Long history here and too many issues to list but suffice to say, no accountability, terrible scheduling, and a clear disregard for the customer. Multiple attempts to fix my auto clutch over the years with no success (supposedly a factory defect on Ford Focuses. Then car started skipping gears badly so I scheduled an appt online and when i came in they said they could not take the car because the website is broken and they haven't gotten around to fixing it. Really disappointing and I forced them to take car as it was not drivable safely. They said we cant touch it for at least 2 weeks - it was there for 3 1/2 weeks. No loaner and then they forgot to install the front under shield - a huge dirty piece which they kindly left in my back seat. The service tech said "yeah I saw that in your back seat and meant to say something". They blame everything on "corporate". read more

They had my car again 2 weeks ago and said my tires were over inflated when they were the only ones that had my car and said change of weather. Went away came back yesterday and tire pressure light still on, this tire is obviously defective and no one wants to step up to the plate and take care of this they rather have my car in numerous times and pay a technician, . Built tough, I don't think so!!!! This is unbelievable that I'm still going through this. This was my first big car purchase on my own and it went very smooth thanks to Manny. The staff at the dealership were super friendly. Walked right in and was asked if i needed a sales rep right away so i didn't have to wait long. When I first arrived yesterday I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted which was the ford escape and Manny was super helpful showing me all the different versions of the car. I was looking at 2014 pre certified versions first but I wasn't happy with them so he found a returned 2017 escape that had low mileage for me which was the year I really wanted but I knew if I went new it would be alot more expensive. I didn't want all the bells and whistles but thanks to Manny I got more then I expected. Once it was determined that I actually was getting the car, the whole transaction went pretty smooth. Everything from test driving multiple vehicles, signing paperwork, dealing with insurance and getting the keys took alittle over 3 hours. I thought from horror stories I've heard from friends that you would be there for majority of the day and you would have to return another day but the process was painless except against my bank account . Got the car the same day as purchase and been driving it all day. So far i love it. Manny was excellent in what he does and explained everything in detail. For someone like me who didn't know the process that well he made it very simple to understand what needed to be done. He advised us how long certain things would take which allowed us to get food since we were hungry. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Manny as your car rep. read more

Waiting around in the dealership for two days getting the run around all over the place. I already had financing through my own lender but they insisted to show my credit around lowering my credit score even after I explained to them I didn't need their financing and DO NOT send my credit to other banks. DO NOT buy a car from them unless you have a lot of time on your hands to waste. Not to mention for the first 2 months of owning the car it had endless problems and had to be in service station for 4 weeks out of the first 8 I owned car. Beware when buying the extended warranty....You would think that you are getting a Ford Extended warranty, which I was led to believe, instead you get an extended warranty from a third party with horrible reviews. Not only is it overpriced, but is not rated very highly amongst consumers. I recently received a letter from Ford about an extended warranty. I called to find out why they were sending me information about a warranty since I already have one. When they looked it up, they told me I did not have a Ford Extended warrranty. Also when I asked for the price of the warranty, the Ford warranty was cheaper and offered better coverage. I call Levittown Ford multilple times to see try to fix this, but no one has returned my calls. Went to ask about ordering a 2019 Ford Raptor in August. Manager tells me they charge 10k OVER sticker price . That's the kind of dealership these people run . Greedy . Found several other dealers that will sell them at msrp. I have no use for a dealership that takes advantage of people like that , and as you can see they aren't well rated as it is. I bought one car and leases another here, and when I went to return my lease the "one guy" who does it is FRANK M. He was the NASTIEST, RUDEST PIECE OF SHIT ASSHOLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. He was not helpful at all and wanted to scream and argue when we raised concern with a question we had. Which he denied to answer and said "I'm not Ford it's not my problem". First off let me say that I did read the reviews that have been posted. Seems like the most complaints are with the Service dept. (more on that later) This is the second vehicle that I have purchased through Levittown Ford and both my buying experiences have been as good as I can expect with the latest (10/25/15) being the best. I walked in with my Fiancée to show her an auto I had seen on their web page and with no intention of purchasing an auto that day. I was approached by one of the salesmen, Vincent Visceglia and after he located the auto we took a look at it. It was a pre-owned Jeep and exactly what I wanted. After some dickering and bringing in the 2 cars I was trading in we were able to meet in the middle on the price. Could it have been cheaper or could I have gotten more on my trade-in's, probably yes if I was in Omaha or Montana but this is NY and I'm a realist. Long story short, my fiancée and I both liked Vincent and felt he was being sincere (I took into account that he, like myself is a Veteran and that's big points in my book). We did all the paperwork, got the deal and I drove home with it that day. I'm very pleased with the deal I got and especially the vehicle. If your looking for a car and happen to be a Vet, I'd suggest looking Vincent up when you get there. Now, the service dept....I bought a car there in 2012 and had the VIP service plan (which I didn't want or get this time). I went there once and like they say fool me once shame on you, etc. I had an appointment, was left waiting, had to walk home a couple of miles because even though they talk about a loaner or a shuttle they, IMO only exist in the salesmen's handbook. Even after I saw several cars with dealer plates sitting in the service dept lot. I was not happy and after that one visit never went back opting to have all servicing done with my trusted local mechanic. Can you buy an auto there and not get ripped off? Yes, if you do your homework, know what you want and stick to your guns. Like I said previously, this is NY and your going to pay NY prices. If you want to save a few bucks, go to Jersey. read more

Second time coming to Levittown Ford Service for my first oil change maintenance. Both times I called and was told that appointments are not necessary or made for maintenance. Well that is great if you like being told 2.5 - 3 hour minimum wait upon arrival. Absolutely unacceptable. I have leased the last 2 ford vehicles back to back from Hempstead Ford and never had this problem. There you made an appointment and it was honored . Only came here because they had specific inventory. From the horrible vehicle delivery that looked like a 10 year old prepped it, and no explanation of features, to poor service experience, i will not be returning. This dealership was a little bit different than other that my mom and I had visited prior. When you walk it there is a receptionist there that takes your name and your name is added to the appointment list. While the receptionist was finishing taking our info a man walked up who turned out to be our salesman. He didn't look like the typical "car salesman". He sat us down at his desk and asked us what we were looking for(power seats and cloth interior). He informed us that the car we thought might work for us size-wise(Focus) didn't come in that combination. If we wanted the power seats, the interior would have to be leather. That is not something that we wanted due to sticking in the Summer. We told him no thank you, but he was nice and didn't continue to try to sell us. As we were leaving I noticed a white erase board where Veterans can sign. I though that that was nice and definitely different. My Chevrolet Silverado was starting to get a bit old and the wife suggested it was time for me to finally treat myself to a new truck. I went to Dodge and Chevrolet and realized I was in for a significant payment every month. I decided to go to Ford just to look, knowing that Ford trucks are always a little more high end than the other two... I never thought I would be able to afford a new F150 but that is exactly what I drive out with. Jonathan Iannielli was my salesman, he is a complete gentleman who is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the Ford truck/car lineup. I told him what my budget was and he was able to come back right at that price point. He went above and beyond with his explanation of all the bells and whistles of a new truck which I was completely unfamiliar with. He is a major part of the reason why I purchased a ford and I can tell you if his service is the type i recieve when I buy a ford product than I am a new customer from now on for all my vehicle purchases, specifically at Levittown Ford. Vinnie was able to work out the particulars with his boss to get me the van at what I needed to pay. They even gave 1 year free oil changes and roadside assistance. Apparently my previous post was removed due to "privacy concerns"- so this time I won't put the name of the finance person who did something ILLEGAL when we tried to discuss other warranties with him, and who then proceeded to give us a 9% interest rate with a false credit score. The incompetence of their employees span across the whole process. From sales, to finance, even after you try and suck it up in hopes that the car is worth it, their service department seems to lack effort and, in general, attempting to receive any kind of customer service is like pulling teeth.
