Avoid this dealership as they are deceptive and unethical! We came into this dealership to purchase a certified pre-owned car and it was the worst experience dealing with this dealership for the following reasons: 1. Their ads state no hidden prices, fees or games. It's not until you negotiate the price do you find out that there is a $1395 dealer installed Stargard that you must pay for even though you didn't request it. Stargard is a car tracking tool since cars are not fenced in but its an archaic tool that can easily be done with a $20 Apple AirTag. They will not remove it and you must pay for it and as such I would consider this a hidden fee. 2. The car is advertised as a CPO, however the CarFax does not indicate that it is a CPO like all the other CPO vehicles in their inventory show in their CarFax. 3. We offered to buy out the vehicle in full but they advised that they wouldn't make any money unless we finance with them because they get a kick back from the bank. Working with the finance manager, Curline, she drew up a deal and included a warranty. She indicated that the car only had 12 months or 12K miles of coverage so the extended warrant was needed. When confronted with the facts, it turns out that the original warranty was transferrable and since the car was barely 2 years old, there was still plenty of coverage remaining from the original 10 years/100,000 miles of powertrain coverage as well as the original 5 years/60,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage which got another 12 months/12,000 miles of coverage due to the CPO status. 4. Since the dealer wanted us to finance even though we were prepared to buy out right, we asked that we'd like to finance the least amount required by the bank. They presented us with a finance amount of nearly 70% of the cars value. When confronted with the fact that Santander bank would finance a nominal amount of $7500, the finance manager grew upset and said that she'll get back to us with updated numbers. 5. 3 weeks later and we have not heard from the sales person, the finance manager or the Sales Manager after many attempts. 6. We have a signed Purchase Agreement and it appears that the car is no longer in the dealerships inventory and they have not returned our deposit. This dealership is shady AF and to the uninformed makes it look like you're getting a great deal but in actuality, they're trying to pull a fast one without you realizing it. We are filing complaints with the NY Attorney General's office for deceptive practices and with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for predatory lending and keeping our deposit. read more

Purchased a 2025 Kia Sorrento in Feb of 2025. Sales process was a disaster. Went to pick up the car and was told that fees from my previous lease were not covered when that was part of the negotiations to begin with that i agreed to. The finance manager brought the sales person (who was new) into the room to pit us against one another for what was discussed. So unprofessional and uncomfortable on both our parts. When i get to the brand new car, there are dings and scratches all over the car. They bring it back to fix the scratches. Car comes back around and they missed half them. They bring it back again to fix. 3 hour long process to pick up the car. Get an IOU for the dent and tell me someone will call me, come to my house and fix. A year later and that never happened. I did call the sales manager and he made things right and apologized for the behavior of the finance manager. I do appreciate him recognizing this. Now, Service is a whole different story, the reviews on here are so accurate they are RUDE, unreliable, and do not care about the customer experience at all. My passenger side window broker less than a year after getting the car, it wont roll down. A car this new should not have this problem. I made an appointment online and included two services, 1. inspections and 2. Other Issue- and i i explained the passenger side window was broken. I received a call the day before that they did not offer lyft but i could wait, which was what i planned on doing. I get to the service trailer and they let me know they need to keep the car for 2 days for a diagnostic and that I WAS RESPONSIBLE for calling them to clarify that. How am i supposed to know you need to keep the car for two days? Then he said the receptionist should have called which she never did, she just called to confirm the appointment. I flat out said i was frustrated and need my car for work, they do not accept those appointment on the weekend and i was told initially they do not have loaners. I asked him what was i supposed to do as i need my car for work and could not leave it for two days. He then explained that loaners were booked for 3 weeks and i could book one then with the receptionist. I said ok, they took my car in for the inspection and i went to the receptionist desk to schedule my appointment with a loaner in 3 weeks. Let me start by saying, whoever the receptionist is in service is by far one of the nastiest, unhappy women i have ever encountered. I simply asked about a loaner and was met with such attitude and rudeness i felt the need to defend myself and explain that speaking to me in that manor was not needed or appreciated. She proceeded to answer a phone call and told me the appointment was booked. I said but i need to confirm i will be able to pick up a loaner and she said with a nasty attitude that it wasnt up to her it was up to "him" pointing at the gentleman who was helping me earlier. I explained he instructed me to go to her and she just continued down her rude path. Finally, maybe a manager stood up and made it seem like i was causing the scene and being irate and tried to be the knight in shining armor that tamed the beast i was being. I explained I cannot be dealing with this in my condition and he half assed tried to do the right thing. He said he would take a "look" at the window today.... whoohoo. To be honest, i left the facility in tears and had my husband leave work and come get me because i felt so attacked and uncomfortable there. I give this business 2 stars because their sales department is very attentive and helpful, but their maintenance department are very disappointing, I'm the owner of a Kia Nero. Am past the warranty so I went for maintenance to my car, I met with Pete, I told him that my oil light went on sometimes, he checked it and gave me an oil change and some other work and said everything is OK, a couple of weeks later the light goes on again, I go back and he makes me feel like I don't know the difference between the oil light and the check engine light, I assure him that I know the difference and after them keeping the car all day he tells me that all I needed was an oil change, I told him I had one the previous month, but he said that I shouldn't have any problems. A couple of weeks later, I had the same problem, took a picture of the oil light and went back to the dealer, after holding my car the whole day again, he tells me that he gave an oil change, when I told him that he had given my car three oil changes in as many months, he said to me, don't worry, " this is what Kia suggests we do , bring it back in one thousand miles or of the light goes back on". Needless to say within a couple of weeks I have the same problem again. I bring it back and tell Pete the problem and he says ,"did you take a picture of the light " I said that I had already shown him the picture and that I had erased it since. After about 3 hours he says to me that they don't know what's wrong with the car, that he would have to put it on the diagnostic machine and that it would cost more money, I said why wasn't that a choice two oil changes ago, that they charged me for everything more times then they had to . So I left without their very unprofessional work, nickel and dimming customers don't seem like the right policy to me, I will still be buying a car, possibly a Kia ,but I doubt that I will use this dealership because I would have to deal with Pete every time I have to do maintenance on my new vehicle, autoworld, you have lost a customer. PS: I spoke to a friend about my problem, him being more knowledgeable about car repairs, he Google my problem and to my surprise dozens of people with the same problem, both on Kia's and Hyundai vehicles, including the fact that it happens when you hit over 60 mph, recommendation was to change the "oil sender", the guy at the parts department called it something else, we replaced the part, it's a couple of weeks and no problems so far, I will keep you updated if that wasn't the problem, but the difference so far is a $40 part, $60+ for beers and apps with a friend and me being happy that I wasn't lied to. Absolutely RUN from this place. Every experience with their service department has been nothing short of a disaster. A routine inspection turned into a $1,400 service on a brand new Kia Telluride. We essentially told our repairs were necessary. Proceeded to pick up the car and saw they didn't even perform the inspection! We left with a low air pressure on the tire after they did a tire rotation. Tried to refill, then eventually the tire went completely flat. Called for WEEKS with no answer or voicemail response to try to book another service to get the tire fixed. We finally bring it in, they told us a "nail was in the tire", they repaired it. We got home. It was still not holding pressure. Couldn't reschedule again for another several weeks. We bring it back and they tell us ANOTHER NAIL WENT INTO THE SAME TIRE, and we had to replace the tire completely. Which is obviously BS. We replaced the tire and asked for a refund for the original debunk tire repair. And when we did the service manager who was a rude misogynist to my wife said "I'm not dealing with her right now" and told someone else to talk to my wife about it. The one one lady there that was very apologetic, but it's obvious this place is run by absolute scammers. Literally have never dealt with such a level of incompetence in my life. read more

So when I bought my car, I was told that there is a chip shortage for their key fobs so I would only receive 1 set of keys but the salesman told me that I would receive a 2nd set in the mail. Its been a year and still no key fob. Spent 50k and they still stiff me over a key fob, unbelievable dishonesty. Will never go back or recommend. They say they will give you a chance to win free gas if you leave a positive Google Review. 4. They try to charge over $100 more than it costs for a cabin filter that you can easily change yourself for $15. 5. They can and will do physical damage to your car. Sales: 1. They will only finance a car with you for over MSRP. They sneak in substantial finance fees of thousands over your agreed price. (Pay off your financed car immediately and deny them their bonuses.) 2. They do not honor the interest rates on their site. They say that is an outside marketing company. 3. They keep you all day to wear you down. 4. They will capture your signature on an iPad and digitally put it on a bunch of legal pages you never saw that waive away all your rights. 5. They give your info to a bogus warranty company that tries to solicit you by mail for an unnecessary warranty for years after you buy your car. The mail comes with threatening pink notices that make it seem like you will be in trouble if you don't hurry up and buy the fake warranty for your new Kia. 6. They promise to give you the car mats for free, but these are not Kia mats, just cheap third party ones that don't fit your car. This is the most dishonest place I've ever dealt with in my life. Meadow.. this is an update to my last review re: my 2020 Kia Sportage that I purchased less than two years ago with less than 25,000 miles... I bought the vehicle in cash!!! as of four mos. ago, my vehicle started burning a quart every thousand miles.. I followed KIA'S PROTOCOL AND POLICY by bringing my vehicle in every thousand miles to have oil checked by their sub par svce. dept. the last visit I brought my forever mechanic with me and he explained that this is not normal, and clearly there is a major engine issue. Svce. Mgr. states this is normal and that I WILL NEED TO CHECK MY OIL AT EVERY GAS FILL AND TOP THE OIL OFF EVERY THOUSAND MILES!!! I HAVE POWERTRAIN CVGE. ON THE VEHICLE.. I'm a senior female... I'm not doing this!! This is not my job... I actually asked the svce. mgr. if HE ACTUALLY MEANT TO SAY THAT OUT LOUD??? This vehicle (after doing my research) is known for engines seizes due to this issue.. They are refusing to do the right thing by me and my vehicle.. Update: It's been a year since our warrantied Sedona's defective Lambda engine died. We provided 9 oil change receipts when they asked for 6. They illegally towed the dead minivan to our property without our consent or permission. We pushed it to our yard yesterday and discovered a HUGE oil stain underneath it. This clearly is a defective Lambda engine. Now we not only want our warranty approved and our rental expenses reimbursed but we want our driveway repaired. read more

After buying a pre owned vehicle last December with 17,000 miles and only putting 3,000 miles on it since, since I mainly use it to just go to and from work and a couple of local errands, I take it in for inspection today, and I'm told that I need new brakes and rotors costing me several 100 dollars in repairs from a mechanic my family has used for literally 3 generations that we know and trust. Several years ago, my father, who was 97 at the time, and a long-time customer, decided to lease a new car on a whim. He worked with "his friend" that he sold him cars for years. At 97 they had him sign a FIVE YEAR lease! Did they REALLY think he would still be driving at 102? He shouldn't have been driving at 97! He gave them a newish trade-in, several thousand dollars, on a car they said was worth $25,000 but the sticker price was just over $18,000. When my father caught Covid a couple of months later and was very sick, I turned his car in and wanted to know what I needed to do to end the lease. They charged him $11,000+. Now here's a place that received $3,000 in cash, a good trade-in (which I heard they sold for $10,000), the new car back (which they couldn't sell as new but they could get a great price on it) and they STILL wanted $11,000! When I refused to pay that ridiculous price, they destroyed my father's credit. Yeah, "his friend" really treated him well, don't you think? Ha! Well, this will be a post about the AUTOWORLD Kia in East Meadow as our Kia Sorrento had an engine light and horrific engine noises with rough running. We thought it best to bring this car to the dealer after making an appointment, leaving half a day early from work to get that 1 o'clock appointment on Wednesday, May 21. It is now Saturday, May 31st and I'm just picking up the car. It took eight days for them to look at the car... on Tuesday, May 27th, I stopped by at the end of my workday to check on the car because nobody had called me only to find and make a video of my car sitting parked two rows deep gathering debris from the bushes it was backed into ...not just a waste of an extreme amount of time and inconvenience to my family. They offered me not a loaner car not rent a car nothing after calling corporate just yesterday and making a complaint against the dealership even corporate told me to use a different dealership because they're all independently owned and operated and obviously Kia aUTOWORLD of East Meadow is not a place that can be even trusted with what they say. They do not care that they wasted eight days doing nothing with my car. I have now paid close to $1500 for a sensor and some air filters. And I did try to reach out to my local mechanic, but he was away till Monday, June 2 so I really was stuck to getting the car fixed.... when you have an appointment to bring your car in at 1 o'clock on Wednesday, May 21 I think you're under the impression your car is going to get looked at that is not what happens at Kia AUTOWORLD of East Meadow. All was going great until they wanted to charge me 13.8% to finance the car with the same bank that I have 5.5% loan with. I called my bank this morning and they are willing to give the loan at 5.5%. So he is Attempting to make $9800 plus PROFIT on Selling me a Truck I Ordered almost 6 months go The Owner of this location needs to know his GM has 3 customers with Insurance cards walk out with our making a deal or getting there cars. Nightmare. In September of 2022 my wife, 16 month old daughter and I spent two days at this location, where we were lied to until the minute were were supposed to pass money across the desk. Then the crook of a sales person Daniel Ingardi - acted like it was all a miss understanding- It was raining outside, and all of our belongings had already been switched to our new car. After the lie came abundantly clear... Which I knew was coming- because it just all sounded too good- Daniel just walked away. We were left chasing our 16 month old baby around and standing out in the rain while switching our things back to our car. Mind you this is Day 2. Im not sure if lies about numbers work better after the "long game" -- keep 'em here long enough and they'll just pay- but this dude was poor. I asked Daniel the direct question... 4 separate times. "this includes taxes and fees?" "Yes Mr. Spiegel. The number you see here includes taxes and fees." If you can lie like that to make a buck... why would you care to ask an exhausted family if they need help moving anything? When I went to approach him about his disgusting lies, and lack of human courtesy - he stood in a small room behind the manager's desk and kept his back to me.
