I always love coming here to get my nails done, I get acrylics plus a gel polish and I also like to splurge on the pedicure spas. The ladies are always very nice and accommodating in trying to get you in. If they don't have an opening, they will get you an appointment slot with confirmation texts which is nice and helpful. Worst nail salon in ashburn/ brambleton. I got acrylic nail extensions. At levo- JENNY- nail artist who was super rude, was assigned to me. She managed to get blood in 3 fingers and hurt me in 3 fingers on left hand and one finger on right side. It has been 5 days but it still hurts. Worst place to get nails done. When I complained,the manager was also rude and told me " I also get hurt many times." It still hurts on all fingers after 4 days. HORRIBLE SERVICE! BEWARE! read more

I came in with my own bottle of new nail polish for a pedicure. The polish was applied sloppily. The very uncomfortable massage I paid extra for was a mindless rough rubbing only on the front of my leg. I observed an employee simply rinse out a glass bowl used for finger soaking and place it in a drying area. This is the 2nd time I have seen an employee do this. I hope they actually get properly cleaned later instead of being reused with just a rinse. I really want to like Levo, but the few visits I've had have resulted in disappointment. read more

She was rushing and was talking to her coworkers the entire time. I do think I got overcharged for the size and shape and the color. I'm going to preface this by saying, I'm a timid customer and I struggle to complain when something is done incorrectly. I usually have the attitude of just taking whatever they give me and not throwing a fit. But this experience was not a good one for me, and I don't recommend this salon to customers like me. I went in at 9:30 and I had to leave by 12:30 for work and I assumed I was going to have plenty of time. I showed the lady what I wanted and asked for red nails instead of the white nails. The few times I stood up for myself while she was working on my nails she debated with me and then acted huffy about me asking it to be done a certain way. After a couple times asking it to be done a different way, I gave up and just let her do her thing. As she's working she cuts me 10 times and I'm just taking it cause I don't want to be rude. Three hours goes by and the whole time I'm just hoping that they will end up looking better...but they don't. By the time she's finished I'm running out the door because I didn't anticipate the appointment being three hours long. I was the first customer in and 7 people finished before I did. I hated the nails but I was too scared to complain and even if I had the guts to complain, I didn't have the time. I had asked for coffin dip nails with a design. I was given almond nails and because it was taking so long I told her to not worry about the design. There was bumps all throughout the nails and many were crooked and I had to pay $60 for it cause I didn't have time to be like "I'm sorry but this isn't what I asked for and I don't want to pay that much for a job like this". The day went on and I tried to just be ok with it, but I was humiliated that my nails were looking like this. I went back the next day to talk to manager to see what options we had because of my whole experience. As a manager myself I know I potentially waited too long, but during and after the appointment I couldn't get myself to say anything. The manager just said I should have said something during the appointment and asked for someone else. She said she can't do anything now cause it would hurt the stylist's feelings. She offered to do them another time for free, but I had to get new nails that day because I have ocd and they were driving me up the wall. I also told her politely that while i appreciated the offer I didn't want to come back to this salon. Despite the poorly done nails, the ladies working were all really polite. I understand that I waited too long and so this situation is partially on me, however I just don't recommend this salon if you struggle to speak up for yourself. read more

What an awful experience. I wish I had read the reviews before going. The pedicure was awful, the nail tech was digging into my cuticles like she was mad at someone and actually nicked me several times. After speaking to her about it, she blames me... Your cuticles are so deep. I paid for an Organic Spa Pedicure and she threw and rushed through all the extra stuff like she was annoyed. Hours later my toes are still throbbing from the technicians poor treatment of my cuticles. Do not go to this place. Read the reviews. At one point I loved going to Levo and loved the usual nail tech I saw (I still do) the past two times I've made an appointment with her she was double booked and I had another nail tech instead. Both times I was cut, broke both nails, the nail tech took my dip off with a fake nail while I repeatedly asked her to stop. Eventually I just got up and left after my nails were broken and bleeding. I wanted to like this place, it's convenient, the salon is nice inside and the ladies are friendly. Unfortunately, my gel manicure started lifting 4 days after my manicure and now it's a week and they look terrible. I noticed they didn't remove or push back my cuticles very much so when they put the gel over them they of course lifted. They are pricey, gel manicure and basic pedicure was $68. read more

Gai was wonderful! I am on cancer medication so the technician has to be very gentle on my cuticles (they bleed very easily) and my nails are super thin. Gai was very professional and kept making sure that I was comfortable. I had powder dip on my hands and pedicure. read more

Very disorganized. Small and cramped. I made an appointment for a manicure in advance, I arrived on time and was told to wait 25 minutes. The receptionist kept asking me and mistaking that I was there for a pedicure, even though I told her I wanted a manicure 3 times!! Then she took me to the back to have a seat for a pedicure, I was in disbelief and just left - not a good sign if they cant get the appointments on schedule and then mistake the type of service. Went into this place as it was close for a quick polish change. I was in a hurry and the place was hardly packed. There were techs sitting everywhere doing nothing. Mostly on phones or chatting with each other. I was hardly greeted by the gentleman in front. I asked for a polish change on my toes as I was headed to an event in DC and didn't have time for a full pedicure. There was clearly a misunderstanding about what I wanted. When I explained to the technician she seemed really agitated. Then she quickly finished me up with what I would call one of the worse polish jobs I've had in a while. I asked her to clean up the gunky polish area around my cuticle and she quickly made the excuse that it's hard to paint them without a full pedicure. That's hog wash!!! I went through a nail tech program the summer of 1999 as I was planning to use it for side money in the dorms while in college, so her excuse didn't come off well with me. Firstly, she never even tried after learning I didn't want the full pedicure. No buffing block or anything!! Lazy. I guess she wanted to hurry along to the next tipper. Little did she know. I'm a great tipper even if it is just a color change. I had already clipped, filed, shaped and removed my cuticle. I just didn't have time to polish them, this is why visited the closest shop thinking that they could quickly polish my toes and they could dry along the long drive to DC. Recently moved to Brambleton and this place is so convenient. I've had nothing but great experiences here. I've always had trouble keeping my acrylics on because i pick at them and they pop off, but each time i've had them done here, they've stayed solid and looked great. Everyone is also very friendly. The staff was friendly and they gave you a free drink, but other than that, it was a pretty upsetting experience. The color that I chose for my nails was very see through and after two layers, you could barely tell that I had anything on my nails and the lady put the top coat on immediately after, so I was unable to request another coat. Also, the painting job was very messy. There were certain parts that had much less polish than others, and it was noticeable. Also, within only a few hours of getting my nails done, they had already began chipping, but I'm not sure why. I wish I could give this place zero stars!! I stopped into this place because its convenient as I live in the area, but after todays visit, I will not go here no matter how convenient it is. Their staff are unprofessional, have no idea or clue what good customer service is as the entire conversation seemed like they were agitated and annoyed for no apparent reason. I'm new to the area, so when I popped in here asking for a mani for my Mom, cousin and I, she basically tried to tell me what kind of service I needed instead of listening to what I was asking to get. I wanted a full set acrylic nail with a gel color but she was insisting on us getting the powder dip instead. I told her we did not want that but she insulted my intelligence by stating do I know what the dip is, I kindly told her, yes I do, and have had it done multiple times and did not want it this time around. Then she proceeded to tell us to just go pick a color for gel. Meanwhile I have been asking her to show us the nail samples with all the gel color variations, she told us to go on the other side and look at the gel color bottles and pick a color. Again, i asked her for the nail samples with the gel colors, she just pointed on the other side of the wall opposite of where she told us to look at and said "right there!" First of all, if she understood me the first time by actually listening to my request, she would have understood what I had asked. The whole attitude and everything is totally uncalled for. So I basically told her, its ok, we are leaving. Then she proceeded to speak her native language. So I told her "do we have a problem?" Because u can say whatever you want to say in english, she said "oh no, I was talking about this bag is hard to open". Whatever, I know she was talking nonsense about me. I told her they are unprofessional and I will not participate in putting money into their business. I can take my money elsewhere. So I drove around the corner and am getting my nails done at Illussions instead. Do not waste your money at this place!! They are horrible!! This location is very convenient for me. Jenny does a good job with a gel manicure; however, it is a bit more pricy than other salons nearby. If you're looking to go for a nice manicure/pedicure, I wouldn't recommend coming here. I've had a regular manicure here twice, and I wasn't impressed either time. The second time, I was very disappointed in the service. After 2 costs of nail polish, there were still some spots on my nails that looked like they barely had 1 coat on. On most of my nails, you can see lines where the different layers of nail polish are. The salon itself is clean and nice, but nothing amazing. The staff members were friendly but did not seem extremely caring. Overall, my experience wasn't terrible but I would try somewhere else if you are looking for a nail salon. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this place. I went there a few times before they changed the name, and had a horrible experience. They cut my heel and toe. So I thought would give them a chance with new name under new management. It was a horrible experience. The place was super empty. The lady that did my pedicure left half of my toe nails in and caused the worst pain and ingrown toe nails. This place is walking distance to me but I will never go back again. read more

I am so happy to find this place. I have just moved to the Brambleton not long ago, and tried to look for a good nail salon so that I can keep up with pretty hands and feet. Since this place is not too far from my house, I decided to give it a chance. It was fantastic. The salon looked very clean and neat. They have even used liners for pedicure to improve the hygiene satisfaction. The staff there were friendly and useful. They took time to do their job even though they were busy at that time. I received a gift card for Christmas to this place and I'm beyond disappointed in my gel manicure. The staff was extremely unfriendly and I can handle that at times, however my gel lasted less than 10 days. As I was getting the manicure I knew the gel wasn't drying accurately( the dryer kept going off) and I informed the technician of this but she insisted it was fine.
