Loooooove this store - small but mighty! There is so much to see & buy - from sauce to fresh pasta…read moreto a copy of The Pizza Bible (my husband has a signed copy!) The whole ambiance of the store is such a vibe - my husband and I love it. Even down to the music being played. It passes the vibe-check as the kids say. lol. I've been in for their soft serve & cannolis - both so yums! You can never go wrong with soft serve! You can choose from either a cone or cup & they have a bunch of toppings - even the olive oil & sea salt which I have heard AMAZING things about but I am a plain-girly so I opted for a plain soft serve on a cone. EDIT: GET THE OLIVE OIL & SEA SALT SOFT SERVE - ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG, it's LIFE CHANGING! I would never think the combo works but it freakin' works! lol. TRY IT, you won't regret it! If you go here & don't get a cannoli, did you actually go here? Just asking. Cannoli choices: Plain, Pistachio, Chocolate Chips & Rainbow Sprinkles. My go-to is Chocolate Chips, it never fails! A great thing about their cannolis is that they make 'em after you order! Fresh & hot off the presses! They also have coffee but I have never tried it BUT it gives me a reason to come back!

Amazing soft serve and definitely the service was friendly and awesome…read more The ice cream was soft serve so there's no scoop ice cream but totally fine You can get toppings if you like I liked it just as is The store was really chill The people are very nice there Ask questions if you have any Lots of things you can take home to make

I couldn't pass by a Michelin recognized restaurant and not try it out. We weren't even planning…read moreon eating here but we didn't want to waste the opportunity. When we got there there was a line outside, and it was probably a 30-40 minute wait. We ordered the 24-Piece Oyster Bar Mix ($92), 6-Piece Grilled Oysters with the Chipotle Bourbon seasoning ($26), and a bowl of Clam Chowder ($23). Everything came out pretty quickly so we didn't go hungry for much longer after we ordered. The day that we went, the oysters that were available and were included in our mix were the Hog Island Sweetwater, Hog Island Highwater, Hog Island Atlantic, and Hog Island Kumamoto. As soon as our server pointed out which oysters were which, however, I forgot what he said immediately so I could not tell you which ones I liked the most. You can definitely taste the difference between them though and they were all great, but my favorite one was a little bit sweeter I think, and it was one of the bigger shelled ones. Thew grilled oysters were amazing as well. The shells were even larger than the raw oysters, and there was a lot of flavor to them. The clam chowder was definitely more brothy than ones I've had in other places, and not as thick and creamy. It was still good though and there was a ton of clams and other ingredients inside. Definitely worth a try if you're visiting the pier. It's definitely on the pricier side but you are getting what you paid for. I do wish that they automatically offered the supposedly complimentary bread to each table as they sat down. We saw that there was a basket of bread to the side of the aisle but weren't sure if it only came with certain dishes.

I tried their clam chowder, and it was fantastic. It is definitely more of a culinary experience since it is kinda pricey and the portions are on the smaller side, but everything is extremely fresh and comes with bread as well. Everything seems pretty classy, from the way you are served to the actual food presentation. The restaurant was even dog accessible, and we were able to have our pet sit right with us and enjoy the great view. Overall, if you are looking for a great dining experience, you should definitely come to Hog Island Oyster.

The owner welcomed us as we walked in and it's a very nice spice and tea place on the second floor…read moreof Pier 39. We looked at the honey and the spices. The owner came over and introduced us to the jars that are all around the shop. You can open these jars to smell whatever spice or tea to get a feel for what you would be purchasing. If I remember correctly, the owner and his girlfriend blend it themselves. We purchased some flavored salts, and cranberry apple jam honey. They also had samples of a white strawberry tea that was amazing. This store is great and the service from the owner was fantastic from a details end. I appreciated what they were doing and definitely will be back when we venture out to Pier 39 again.

The store is very large, and there was so much to look at and smell. We were greeted by the owners, who were very helpful in showing us their store and products. We went to pier 39 just to walk around, and ended up having the best experience while there. We ended up getting a bourbon bacon salt, a honey spoon, and got a free tuna rub! The store was so clean and well organized. I love that the spices/herbs/salta/sugars all had jars that you could open and smell for reference. The candles are also noteworthy! They smelled fantastic and I might just have to make my way back for some! Overall, Andrew, Mauricio, Blair, and Ian made the experience excellent! If you're walking through the pier, definitely stop into the business and give them look and purchase!!
