We have drove by several times on our way back from Lasalle. One day we decided to stop for something. Upon entering we were greeted by Isaac the owner and then it hit me. .. This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had outside of Chicago. Listen to the owner for a few minutes and you know how much passion he has for his pizza! If they delivered it would be lights out for the competition. Homemade crust that has a great crumb so you know it has had time to ferment. When is the last time you had pizza and couldn't wait to get to the crust? He could sell the pizza sauce it is so good and as others have said the cheese bread is worth the drive all by themselves! Who knew the very best pizza to be found in the Monroe/Lewis County area would be at a little, inconspicuous party store on a rural corner, on the outskirts of tiny Ida, Michigan?! The owner here is very nice and he makes his own dough and secret recipe sauce. A lot of love goes into this New York style pizza (by the slice with a thin crust!). The pizza here is very good. You can tell that they use quality ingredients. I especially like their sauce! I stopped to pick up a couple pizzas because it was on the way home and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. I noticed on their menu board they had kibbe, and since it's a favorite of mine, I decided to get a couple to try theirs. Oh my goodness, it was so flavorful and delicious! I'm used to eating it with garlic sauce and when I asked if they had some, the owner said, they usually eat it plain, so they did not. I said that was ok, however he insisted on whipping up a cucumber sauce for me at no charge. It was amazing. I can't wait to go back! Come for the pizza and stay for the kibbe. read more

The pizza is always delicious, the falafel is great, the hummus is amazing and omg their baba ghanoush is by far my favorite! The pizza is arguably the best in Monroe County, and we used to be regular customers. When there was a problem with my order, the lady at the register was apologetic and understanding, but another employee started yelling at me and even dropped an f-bomb.
