Terrifying experience at LexSpa. After paying for my services via credit card and tip via Venmo, staff aggressively demanded to see my tip. I was already walking out the door and told them they can see it on their end. Tiffany (the nail person) chased me outside, banged on my car, screamed at me, screaming let me see the tip!!". I felt unsafe and left. She falsely involved the police as if they don't have better things to do. It was unreal. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Pay and tip wherever you like -- but don't risk your safety here. Stay far away. A business that treats paying customers like criminals doesn't deserve customers at all. To top it off they tried to lie to the cops and say I didn't pay at all... which was a complete lie. Just insanity. read more

Lex Spa is all over, wonderful! I've been to numerous places in the past and this one is the best! The place is so clean and bright with a huge selection of colors for manicures, gel, Dazzle Dry, pedicures, etc. Every person who works there is talented--thorough, professional and does an excellent job! I came back to Lex Spa after having moved away for a few years. When I came back, I was really appalled at how the front desk treated me and the other customers. First, she called me 5 min before my appointment, demanding to know where I was and asking me to come inside. I told her I was running a few minutes late and when I came, she was extremely unfriendly. Then over the course of the next hour, I heard the front desk staff yell at several other customers, in person and over the phone. The pedicure was fine, but given the prices they charge, I would look elsewhere. read more

I'm 35 years old and have been getting my nails done since I was 14 or 15, and this is definitely the best salon I've been to ever. I'm pretty sure I started coming here when they opened, and have gone nowhere else since then! The women are all so kind, they each do an amazing job, and the salon itself is clean and beautiful. I'm always so impressed with how clean the salon is, and feel so welcomed when I come in. I have no problem having an appointment with any of the women because they all do amazing. I also appreciate the easiness of booking online! My boss and cousin have both become customers since they saw my nails and one of them isn't even local! I always get compliments on how nice they look - thanks to LexSpa! Customer service has become awful- so arrogant and rude. Their policy of taking payment upfront for half the cost of the appointment is so strict that even if you need to make last minute changes becomes challenging and prohibitive and they are really quite ruthless. I LOVE this place. The women are kind and engaging and talented- it feels like fair labor and real professionalism. I've had some sweet conversations each time I go, with no pressure to talk, just opportunity. Nothing feels rushed or belabored. The space is perfect - cozy and also spacious. Very clean but not clinical. The chairs are very comfortable and well maintained. Their covid protocol and contact tracing is superb without feeling punitive. And the hand and feet/leg massages were so soothing. Finally the polish was expertly applied and lasted many weeks on my feet. I booked a mani/pedi with Lex Spa and unfortunately had to cancel day of after learning of a close COVID contact. I called to inform the salon who said they would not refund my deposit (half service fee), but if I called back to reschedule within two weeks they would honor the service fee. I called back to rescheduled, within that time frame, and was told I needed to produce a positive test result TO THEM to honor the payment. In what world is that even remotely appropriate?! I was going to be a first time customer - not only will I never go, I will make sure none of my friends or colleagues do either. read more

This is my new go-to nail salon! I loved everything about this place. How nice the salon is, how friendly the staff is and how great my nails looked coming out. They have tons of colors to choose from! Your biggest problem will be deciding which one to go with. It's so clean and I am a stickler for clean! They even ask you to put shoe covers on when you walk in to keep it clean. The nail technician opened new tools before she started on me. You can see they keep things very sanitize and clean all over, which is super important. I loved my manicure. I wish I had a before photo of my nails so you could see how atrocious they were and how amazing they made them look after. I didn't think it was possible for them to look this good. I'm never negative in my reviews I swear.. but this place has a strong weird vibe. I needed a 1 time place as my beloved one was closed on vacation. I called and I was told I had to make an online reservation. Like many reviews say, you have to pay in advance which is BAD because I didn't get the service yet and I don't know I'm going to be happy with it, right? I did it anyway to give them a chance. On the plus side: Pristine clean place. Calming music. Lots of colors to choose. My nail service provider was good. On the minus: the place is full of cameras which it took me a hot minute to realize it is purely checking the workers at all times. The ladies seem stressed and you can feel it in the air. There were 3 of us inside when a 4th lady walked in. Apparently there was a miscommunication with her appointment and she felt a bit of aggression by the employee who kept asking if she had made 2 appointments instead of one besides being a bit late. Regardless of the situation, the employee's tone of voice raised a few notches and I felt very bad as I could see she was clearly stressed about someone observing her ( big brother style) The customer decided to leave and the energy after that was well.. not fun. OBSESSED.... I came here to finally check it out after 3 months of its grand opening. What can I say...it's fantastic! Ascetically speaking it's a nice open space that has been completely overhauled. Everything is clean and immaculate. They offer free soft drinks, water and tea and have lovely calm spa music playing in the background. The service itself was flawless and I had the lovely Hannah do a gel manicure for you. When I say the experience was perfect I'm not kidding. I need cuticle removal, I need a perfect paint job, a perfect shape and a relaxing experience- this is al of the above rolled into one! Lex Spa is amazing! The staff is always so friendly, pleasant and accommodating. The salon is clean, spacious and lots of colors to choose from! I love the online booking tool. This day and age, making it easy and self service to schedule is great. Some people have negative feedback about having to pay first but this is the nature of small business who can't afford for people to cancel, no show or arrive late constantly. All of the workers are rude and will make you feel the opposite of the way you want to feel at a relaxing spa. I was yelled at for trying nail polish colors, not putting on plastic shoes quickly enough and about five other things. They have no concept of customer service. The salon is CLEAN, relaxing, and very professional. You can book online (they can get busy so I try and make an appointment a week in advance). Not only is the location convenient for Lexington and Arlington residents, but there is ample parking and lighting in and out of the spa. I didn't have the simplest request and i was amazed how she remembered every detail I asked for and painted the nails perfectly.
