Was very disappointed with this place. I booked thinking it was actually an organic salon and it wasn't at all, it wasn't even clean. The tech I got didn't speak any English so she didn't understand when I told her she was hurting me or that the water was too cold. The whole salon was actually very cold and the massage chair didn't work. I was supposed to get a manicure too, but they would only remove my existing polish with the machine that gets tons of dust in the air and I didn't want to inhale that in such a small space so they refused to do my manicure. I won't be coming back here again and they should definitely change the name because they are not organic by any means. read more

I came here with my mom recently and it just wasn't the best experience. I've come here before when I was younger and I just remember it being better - cleaner and actually organic.. it kind of just feels like it's lost it's sparkle. I got a basic manicure and it really just didn't do it for me. My mom got a pedicure and the woman really tried to do a good job. My mom felt bad because she (the woman) kept smudging the nail polish and then the owner came over to help and kind of got upset (at the other woman). It was kind of awkward we will not return. The place is small and just isn't really the cleanest. I would go somewhere else. read more

I tried finding a new nail place after moving out out of Lexington, but came back and found Organic Nail & Spa to be the best. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I got a great massage and a perfect mani/pedi. I couldn't even see, but the nail polish was messed up on my toes and the nail technician took the time to fix it. No, just no. Ever pay $35 for a polish change? Ever spend that for 20 minutes in the chair?I did. Had an appointment with these charlatans for a pedi, and stressed that exfoliation was my main goal. I received NO exfoliation, he didn't even do cuticles. All of a sudden I was done! They up-sale like crazy. He asked if I wanted a collagen treatment for $13. I declined. When I asked why my feet weren't exfoliated he said because I declined the treatment. I had to go elsewhere to have a proper pedicure. I wasted $46 and 20 minutes that I can't get back. I spent $100 today for one lousy pedi, followed by a professional one. Please don't give these people your money... read more

Although my nails are beautiful, it was a sad experience. I was 6 minutes late, and John called as I was walking in the door, very unhappy. I apologized, but either he is generally rude and unfriendly or was proving a point. I apologized three times before he finally looked up and acknowledged that I was saying I was sorry for keeping him waiting. Very uncomfortable hour and a half. I asked him where he had gone for vacation, he said, "Canada." One word. Okay... I asked him if the woman working next to him was his sister, and after several iterations of the question, he finally said, "She's my sister." Not picking up on social cues or small talk. He gave me a hard stare for asking for more cutting, less filing, because I have arthritis and it hurts. (A warning for others like me - he only files, no clipping.) He was super put off that I had scheduled to do my toes also, as he thought he was done with me with the fingers, and bruskly ushered me through like a bothersome child. He left me in the chair with wet toe nails without circling back for me to pay or to put my flip flops on so I could leave. I'm sure his fondest wish is that the woman who came at 1:51 rather than 1:45 never returns, and that's what will happen. Life is too short to spend an hour and a half miserable in a nail salon with rude people, even for great nails. And geez, Boston is reputed to be a high stress city; maybe be more laid back about being 6 minutes late! read more

I brought my husband and my son here for a family pamper day. We had an appt for 1, showed up a little early, and were sitting in pedi chairs within 5 minutes of arriving. All 3 of us enjoyed the experience and the pedicures were not rushed at all. Quick side note: we saw one customer attempt to not pay, saying she didn't like the prices even though they told her the price when she came in AND the prices are listed fully visible on a wall in the shop. The employees were very respectful and never raised their voices, customers even came to their defense seeing that the lady was obviously just trying to get something for free. Service businesses such as these were hit hard by the pandemic. If you are on a budget, please double check prices before getting the service and do not try to stiff the people working hard! If you are a good human looking to get pampered, this is the perfect place for you! read more

Three appointments for 3 people. My sister had the callus removal- it was not removed and she was somehow done before my basic pedicure. We all had dip and yet all had a different experience. My sister was cut twice and had said ow audibly and then asked did it hurt. Hilarious because she wouldn't say ow if it didn't. She also didn't get an exfoliating scrub after. While for me there was never a check in point if my nail shape was to my liking. I've had to ask her to fix my cuticles multiple times. Then help remove the polish on my fingers. They were nice but nice doesn't mean you're good. read more

Where do I begin; if there was a zero I would give it. Let's start with the name: "Organic" nail and spa. I called and asked what brand of organic nail polish they use. I spent 10 min on the phone with someone who didn't know what I was talking about and unable to help me. The phone was transferred. I was then told that yes, they do have 'organic' polish, but you have to ask for it to be used (really!?). I asked if the lotion and other products used were organic. I was told yes. It's all a lie. I made the appointment, showed up and asked for the organic polish. guess what, there are NO organic polishes there!! Two people didn't even know what I meant. One finally spoke up and said I talked to you and told you we had "partly organic" polish. Are you kidding me? Not only was that a lie also, but there isn't anything even remotely organic about the entire place. None of the polishes are even remotely organic or 'natural'. And the one they said had "less chemicals" (which didn't say that on the bottle) was $8 more if you wanted them to use that! The place isn't clean either. I would never go back. And the tools used on me did not come out of a sanitized package. It was just gross. I asked if the owner was around; apparently he is 'hardly ever' there. The technician coughed a couple of times; I asked if she was sick; a valid question given Covid, she didn't seem to like that; and just said allergies. I usually don't write reviews and also not too picky with the service. I spent 2,5 hours for dip last week and it all chipped out in a few days. I usually wear dip for 5 weeks with no issues and have to come to change it only because of the nails growth. I now recall that I was not happy at this particular place with pedicure in June as well. This is a great nail salon not without flaws but from observations and personal experience, they aim to please every customer who come in for service. I have been coming here the entire time they took over from the old management. The owners Lisa and Tim are always great to deal with and they are hard working people who strive to do well so that customers would return again and again. This salon is clean and well stocked with great array of nail colors and brands. They also have many pedicure spa chairs which ensures that they can fit quite a lot of customers so waiting is minimal. They try to hire technicians who can at least speak adequate English so miscommunication is rare. At times, when they get really busy, services can be hurried but overall, they have been great. My favorite nail technician, Ariana whom I book almost exclusively does a great job every time. She is easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. She is skilled but she will listen to what and how you want your nails done. She is great at giving massages so the spa pedicures are always relaxing and enjoyable. I am so pleased with this salon that I can't imagine going to a another place for my nail grooming needs. read more

John is just the best. He's so funny and nice on top of being amazing at nails. They are always so wonderful with my kids. No matter what crazy designs my kids come up with, their nails always look perfect. I love a subtle nude nail and John nails is very time. Their prices are great. This salon is terrible. 1) The nail tech spent all of 30 seconds on each foot scrubbing. Then when I showed her afterwards the dry skin that she tried to "cover" with lotion, she said I would have to pay extra to have it taken off. 2) She also never bothered to file the nails straight. This became glaringly obvious after my toes were painted. 3) The website says $33 for a pedicure, the lady charged $40. When asked, she said those were pre pandemic prices. 3) She tried to charge my daughter full price for a mani when the website clearly says a child's mani (a teeny mani) is $12. 4) My daughter sat and waited the entire time my pedicure was being done, then I had to wait for her nails to be done even though I had booked an appointment for the two of us so it ended up taking twice as long as it should. 5) There was no dividers between the pedicure chairs and no social distancing if you were getting your toes done. The only thing they had was a divider for the techs doing manicures. Also, contrary to their name's suggestiveness, their products are not organic! Never again! read more

My two little fingers one got scratched open, one got trimmed open and both were bleeding during my manicure process. I would say the technical skills definitely are concerning, if one incident was by accident, how can this happen to the second little finger?? Or is the technician just careless? More worse was after all these. I had a store gift card from my husband last year and there were $68 left showed on my last saved receipt. 2020 was so crazy and I didn't get a chance to visit until Dec. They told me my gift card can not work anymore with their machine. And I was fine with that as long as they had a way to issue a new card that showed the rest amount. They then said the card can only worth 50% of its amount, which meant my $34 was vanished for no reason! My very regular gel manicure cost $48 including 20% tips as I wanted to support them as a resident in Lexington. I was in a rush to go to doc appointment and didn't argue with them. But at the end my manicure which was supposed to be $48 turned out as $72 ($68 from the gift card + $14 paid by my credit card). 2020 was tough to everyone but it's not right to force your customers and take their money in such way! read more

This is the best place I've ever gotten my nails. Hands-down. No pun intended. The entire facility is spotless, the service is great, and the quality of the work being done is outstanding. This is only place I've been to where I don't get massive hangnails a few days after my appointment. I typically get a pedicure (get the deluxe if you can, the extra massage time, oils, and scents are so worth it) and gel manicure, and no matter who works on my nails, I'm super happy afterwards. Also, everyone is so polite! I'm not usually too picky with who does mine, but my mom always requests Lisa, who owns the salon with her husband, Tim. Organic Nails is THE BEST around! They are clean, accommodating, kind, friendly and careful. Liz and Lisa are my favorite technicians, but I have never been let down by anyone. I cannot say enough for this nail place and am definitely looking forward to my next visit. I'd been dying to try SNS (signature nail system) for a while and this salon was recommended to me after it didn't work out with Fancy Nails. The techs were knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is small but clean. The SNS application can be tricky- it's somewhere between getting gel and acrylics but requires precision or the powder gets everywhere. As a whole they lost one star where they caught my cuticles in a couple places that were bleeding saying I have "such thin skin." I mean, it usually does just fine holding the blood in the absence of being cut/pulled so idk if my skin is the problem but nonetheless I left with a product I was very happy with. The SNS was applied to perfection and it's still on without lifting three weeks later! Three, yes, 3. This stuff grows out before chipping/fading/lifting/etc. It's maybe $5-10 more than gel but definitely worth it. read more

I used to love Organic. Liz was amazing and Lisa, who's still there, is wonderful. Very nice and never fails to make my nails look awesome. However, they hired several new nail techs who are not very good. The last three times I have gone for gel manis they have filed my nails down to the nub when they were long to begin with, and seem to have trouble creating the shape I want. There isn't enough top coat on my nails to cover all the color, so part of it is shiny and part of it is not. I asked the most recent nail tech I had to be careful cutting my cuticle, and I asked her not to rub the lotion into my whole arm but she just didn't really listen to me or respond. Worst of all, she didn't file my nails correctly. One of my nails seems to have a little split in it that I hoped she would file and she did not, and she did not cover this part with gel, so now the gel is peeling. It's been two days since I got them done and I will be pissed if it peels. read more

The pedi appointment I booked online through Yelp was not honored. I had to wait ~20min with the walk-ins and because I had a commitment after my appointment, I had to opt for just a clear coat of base polish. I would not have had enough time for the polish to dry and figured smudged clear polish would be easier to deal with. To their credit, they did offer to let me come back the next day to complete the pedi. Unfortunately, the whole reason I made appointment is that I don't have a lot of free time. I know 20 minutes does not seem like much but for me it was the difference between getting a pedicure and having to do it (at least finish it up) at home. I was so pleasantly surprised upon entering this little hidden gem of a nail salon. Very soothing ambiance with peaceful music playing in the background, no TVs. I was the only one there at the time, which was even nicer. I was having a gel manicure and they had a ridiculous amount of colors to choose from, all pre-painted on these false nails on "sticks" that you could pull out and place over your own nail to help decide upon the color that best suited you. It was so convenient and organized. In addition, they put your hands into finger tip-less gloves to protect your skin from the UV lights while drying. They are a very forward thinking salon, neat, clean and very customer service oriented. I really, really recommend giving them a try. I have been going to another local location in the center but this place really tops them. I will be going next for a pedicure. I'll keep you posted! ***Had the pedicure and it was wonderful! I booked a pedicure through the Yelp online booking. When I arrived, the person scheduled for me was not coming in. The two employees/ladies had no clue about the appointment. One forgot her cell phone and said the person's wife would be in shortly but they needed to reach her. 2 other people waiting for manicures, and the scheduled employees for them were not there either. When the employees finally showed for them, they looked like they just woke up! Anyway, I guess the wife was finally reached as they asked me to sit and soak my feet in the water. The water was lukewarm and started to cool off. My appointment was for 11am. Now, it's 11:18am, and already behind schedule. One of the employees asked again with whom I had an appointment with, I explained I made through the yelp's online booking with Tim. She said he doesn't work there anymore. His wife would be there shortly. It was obvious the employees had no clue to their schedule and they didn't seem to care. Another 5 minutes went by and I had enough. I told the ladies I'm leaving. No one offered to dry my feet. I left with wet feet and no pedicure. With so many nail salons around, I'm not returning and wasting more time. read more

I was visiting a friend in Boston a week ago and needed a place to get a mani and pedi for a conference I was attending. My friend was heading over to Lexington for an errand and so I was looking for nail spa in the ares. I found Organic Nails using Yelp and they were rated highly. I had a little trouble finding it because I was out of town but finally did about 20 mins late. They were so nice and a young man started my pedi right away. The chairs were very comfortable and his foot massage was fantastic. Even though I was late he took a lot of time on my pedi. He then did my shellac manicure and again took so much time to make sure it was a great experience. I got a french manicure and he did the most perfect white tips I have ever had! He is a real artist. I don't remember his name (sorry), but he was so great! I finished up with a paraffin treatment which was so soothing. The spa is laid out well with the pedi chairs in the back and the nail workstations up front. The spa is very clean and all the tools were wrapped and sanitized. They had a very large selection of nail polish and I had trouble deciding the color I wanted for my pedi due to so many choices. There is great parking in the back of the shop and it is really inexpensive, like 50 cents for a couple of hours. One of the young women working the front desk offered to even go out and put some more money in the parking meter if I need to. Just fantastic customer service! The prices are very completive and I would highly recommend this nail spa if you are in the Lexington area! Thank you Organic Nail & Spa for the wonderful experience. I'm a relative newbie to getting my nails done, but had a great experience getting a mani-pedi recently in Phoenix, Arizona, and since I'm male I'm only into it for practical benefits - specifically, I'm a writer and need to keep my nails clipped short so I can type. Lan did a great job, and I loved the foot massage with the salts. I had fun with the entire staff. Not only was it good, but less expensive than the others in town. Easy to find, too, right in the center. BTW, I had another manicure at a local salon and within two days my nails were ragged and grown out and needed to be clipped. The point being, even though I've only had a few nail treatments, I can tell the difference between a good one and a not-so-good one. read more

The second time I have been there and can't say enough "good" things about the service, sanitation and staff. They are all friendly and knowledgeable, offering what the "client" wants, rather than trying to up-sell you during your visit.
