Very good experience. They showed up in time and started packing everything we had left. We moved my elderly mother into assisted living, so she couldn't do much packing and I wasn't around to do it. We did let them know when we made the reservation that there would be some packing, but I think they still weren't expecting what we had. No complaint, they got right to it. Well what can I say, these guys are great!!! Alex in the office was great with booking the move. We were putting all of our furniture and belongings into storage which they have their own storage place. The three guys that came in, I wish I could remember their names, were excellent!!. Very personable and knowledgeable. They worked together like a finally tune car. All the furniture was wrapped and taped as were the breakables. They were in and out in about 2 hours. I looked into Lexel Moving upon a friend's recommendation after deciding to hire movers for my local move this past weekend and I'm pleased with the experience. I reached out for a quote online back in January and received a call back within the hour (as opposed to never hearing back from other moving companies). The day of, the movers showed up within the specified time range and were friendly and efficient. The whole move took about two hours and came out to within the estimated quote. One thing to note is that my couch got scuffed up on one side during the process. I was hands off the entire time since I trusted them and didn't want to get in the way, but in hindsight I should've specifically asked that they use the furniture pads that are advertised as included online. Not a huge deal, but a good thing to note for future moves. Aside from that I would definitely hire Lexel again! read more

We just executed a complex multi-stop move between two states with multiple pickups and dropoffs in both states. Both sides of the Lexel team (pickup and dropoff) were flawless in their execution. The "from" team that packed us up was led by Nick who was incredibly patient and efficient. We paid a fair price, and only lost 2 or 3 minor items to breakage (to be expected when you have a lot of fragile stuff). The team that unpacked us was a different group of guys and were consummate professionals. They had a ton of patience, and when the baby grand piano was not working right, the lead (Yeison) got down on the floor with me and troubleshoot the problem. It now works perfectly. Both teams went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and given the sad state of the moving industry, it was nice to find a company that delivers on what they promise. Really fantastic company. Starting from getting quotes was the easiest process, bar none. Like most people, I was getting quotes from multiple companies for my interstate move from Boston to NYC. A quote from Lexel wasn't the cheapest but still was on more affordable side compared to many other quotes I've received. After messaging Ross on their website, I was able to have my quotes price matched to their competitors. From that point on, my fantastic experience with Lexel company began. Once I was able to confirm the price-matched quote, I was able to walk through my inventory once more with the representative. The process was overall seamless. I was given cash discount as well. After I started packing, I quickly realized that I had underestimated my list of inventories. When I messaged Ross, we were able to adjust the inventory with minimal price addition. I was amazed at the easy and painless process. I also loved how thorough the company was at making sure I felt supported during the interstate move process. They emailed me and called me to talk through the last minute logistics before the move begin. They were also able to accomodate the new building's COI requirements and documentations without any hesitation. On the day of the move, I was impressed with how the movers/driver called ahead to let me know the ETA an hour before their arrival. Overall, we had a great experience using Lexel because of the crew that was with us from pickup all the way to delivery from DC to Boston (Carlos and Jose). They were great guys, very accommodating and worked incredibly hard/quickly over the span of two days (during a crazy storm on the east coast) to make sure the move went smoothly. Would highly recommend requesting the two of them on your move. On a less positive note, I was disappointed in the communication from the company to let me know when the crew would be arriving in DC to begin the move. When we arrived in Boston, the moving company didn't reach out about who and when would be delivering the items.
