Caveat: I did not get as far as actually having my windows washed by Lexie. That's because when I called, I was turned off by her extreme rudeness. When asked if she could give a rough estimate over the phone, she was very curt and mockingly said, "No. That's like asking for green shoes. What color of green?" I mean, come on. Is it $50 per window? $5? After multiple years in the business, there is ABSOLUTELY no idea of a rough cost range that you can give me? Please. I called other companies and was immediately given rough estimates over the phone. Ended up agreeing to Just Windows' (phone) quote for $150 to clean 34 windows. read more

They did an amazing job! $175 to do the 3 windows along with the tracking. Highly recommend if u need good, professional service. The only advice I would give is agree on the price beforehand. I found Lexie's Window Cleaning on Yelp! by reading all the great reviews. When I called, Lexie was great to talk with over the phone. Seemed to have a great energy - warm, friendly, direct. Then I met her (for getting the quote) and I could see that I was right about that: She's a really good person with a warm smile. She inspired my confidence. We arranged a time for her team to come over and do the windows on my 1907 Edwardian Home in SF. The windows are the old-style - wood framed and with lots of small, detailed triangle-shaped windows built into the top frame. They are also hard to clean as they are about 40 feet above the street on a sloping street - you can't really get a ladder up there. On the day of the cleaning, the team (Ronald, Malik) arrived right on time (maybe even a few minutes early). They are great guys - friendly, good natured - also good people I could tell immediately. They did a wonderful job. Malik went inside to ensure that there were no leaks during the cleaning process. Ronald did a careful job cleaning each nook and cranny - with Malik's direction as to what spots needed extra attention. Now the windows are really bright and look great. I called Lexi yesterday - she came over quickly and priced out the windows in my 6th floor apartment at the Beacon. They came the next day, were early and so friendly! They did the windows inside and out and there is nothing more to say except they look amazing. Better than the day I moved in. Ron, Lim and and Lexie are as good as it gets. Professional service at terrific prices. It took about an hour to get it all done and they brought their gear and cleaned up as though they were never here. The folks at Lexie's are very friendly and professional. The work is excellent. My windows sparkled and my house was left totally untouched by the team coming in. The price, however, was very, very expensive. It was double my previous service and while Lexie's provided external cleaning, for half the price my previous service also included internal service so it was nearly four times the price. Ouch. Also, I received a verbal price that was lower than what the invoice came in at. The invoice also indicated interior and exterior cleaning but the price was only for external. So...excellent cleaning, great team but confused pricing and very expensive. read more

I bought a voucher from living social for $50 for one hour of power washing from Lexi's window cleaning. My mistake was that power washing was not the same as window washing. Duh! I goofed, honest mistake. When I contacted lexi's she was not willing to honor the voucher towards windows...I was willing to pay the difference. I asked a few times and nope, no way... so when I tried to use the voucher for power washing she declined my business. Poor business sense In my opinion. No management skills here, though the job may be done well, I won't know...I'm sure I can find another merchant willing to take my business. I prefer customer service up front, then a good job second, because good customer care is gold to me...if the job is not done up to expectation then a business with good customer service from the start is most likely to make sure the customer is happy. I also found Lexi strange on the phone and rude when I called on a Sunday. read more

We hired Lexies Window Cleaning to clean the windows of our 3rd floor apartment. The good - they were very thorough, kept everything clean, and the windows now look great. The bad - we originally booked for May 8 and they called to say they couldn't come then because it was "mother's day weekend." A bit annoying but we rescheduled for a week later at 9 am. They showed up at our apartment at 7:45 am, 1 hr 15 min early. We were still in our pajamas. Lexie claimed to have called my husband's office and left a voice mail about the time change (nope, no voice mail). When he told her he hadn't gotten a voice mail, then she said that she wasn't able to leave a voice mail because she was stuck in the switchboard (a little hard to believe since she was able to reach us by phone to reschedule the original date). Lexie wasn't very apologetic about arriving so early and made a snotty comment about how she hoped we'd recovered from the "rude awakening." When I got the estimate, Lexie also said they would bring enough people to get the job done in 2 hours (she said they had a large crew), but only two people showed up, and it took them 4.5 hours to get the job done. In the end, the windows look great, which is the most important thing, but I do have the expectation that service providers will arrive on time and stay close to the time estimate. I would probably try another window cleaning service before using them again. read more

With all this pre-planning you would think Lexie would have the respect to call a customer when over 30 minutes late. Only after I called that I was informed she was running late. Look, I love nature but I fucking hate my neighbour's tree that keeps dumping leaves all over my patio year-round. It drops leaves faster than I can sweep them up. After years of this vicious cycle, I called up Lexie's Window cleaning and they made the patio nearly brand new! Not only that, but they moved all my heavy patio furniture before the cleaning, replaced everything afterwards -- and left no evidence of their presence by the time they left. The spilled a bit of oil on the courtyard behind my patio, and they didn't leave until they removed every trace of it. It's particularly nice dealing with a business where it seems that the employees are all happy to be there and are treated respectfully. It's great when you find a business like this -- I plan to call them yearly until I manage to get that damn tree chopped down. read more

Wow! I just had Lexie's Window Cleaning come to my house to perform an hour and a half of pressure washing + cleaning a number of windows. The first hour of my service was covered by a Groupon that I had purchased. Their regular rate is $100 per hour, so I paid $50 or the additional 1/2 hour +$75 for the windows (6 double-hung on two floors). Lexie and I had corresponded by email and phone to set up the appointment. She confirmed with me twice. Very professional. They were absolutely amazing. Ron (one of the owners) and Lem arrived for our appointment -- early! My mother accidentally turned them away and sent them elsewhere (mothers...). In any case, they returned and were so polite and gracious about the mix-up which was entirely out fault. Ron double checked with me about what I wanted washed, asked for a tour of the places to be cleaned, and was careful to explain that my hour did not commence until the actual washing began. How nice is that? They cleaned the green "mold" off of my back steps thoroughly and then moved to take care of my front steps and Victorian entry detail. They finished up by cleaning windows. I can't say enough good things about this company and this team. They are so polite, talented, gracious, and timely! What's not to love? I would recommend them highly, and I plan to use them again. read more

My windows were washed today but it wasn't by Lexie. What a bright, energetic and articulate young woman! She arrived at my apartment within 30 minutes of our phone conversation. She did a thorough walk-through of both my unit and my downstairs neighbor, promising a quote by the end of the day. Four days later and four different excuses produced no estimate, It's possible she just had a bad week and didn't feel comfortable telling the truth about it but it made us all so uneasy because she started so strong. Maybe you will have better luck with her than we did but it was a waste of our time (hers too) and there are so many other contractors to do this work. Lexie is one of the hardest working people I have experienced after through the process of a massive construction project and clean-up. We are still using Lexie (after having all of our construction cleaning compete) for routine maintenance on our home and her level of service has never wavered. Our home has some very difficult-to-reach windows. Lexie's team was up for the challenge.
