We had every window in our 3 story Edwardian-era house washed inside and out, some of them (we thought) inaccessible without scaffolding or a cherrypicker. Lexie's window cleaners performed our window cleaning for our business in the design district. We asked her for prompt invoicing but she did not send any invoices for over 9 months and then out of nowhere we received a huge back log of 9 months worth of invoices. She expected payment right away and sent us a legal letter with threat to sue us if we did not pay right away. Her cleaning is not worth the terrible service and treatment we received from her. read more

Called Lexie for a post-installation cleaning and excess-assembly-sealant-removal for 14 large wood sash on the 9th floor. They were onsite to see the job within three hours of my call and came on time the next day to do the job. Lexie, Ron, and Lim (sp?) were energetic, super-tidy, and meticulous. This was a $40,000.00 window job, so as the general contractor I was really concerned about the process leaving any scratches. I didn't need to worry - these guys are pros and are insured. I'd say my windows look spotless, but that would be misleading because they are so clean, you actually can't see them any more! Lexie and Lem did a rock star job and treated my condo like it was their own. They were super meticulous too - scraping up the gunk from old labels and sweeping those creepy crevices that collect dust and dead critters. Hooray... the park looks soooo much greener today! I got an estimate and the rate was great, not expensive at all and my house is 3 stories and I have a lot of windows, very reasonable and moderately priced compared to some other companies. I'm the office manager at a business that's located in a warehouse space on Potrero Hill, and my boss decided that for the new year we needed to have the large glass windows and doors at our entrances cleaned because they were looking really grungy. After reading all of their great reviews on Yelp I decided to call Lexie's Window Cleaning. Lexie and Ronald came by the next day as promised to check out the job. The price quote was more than fair, so they began to work their magic on our glass! Ronald climbed up to clean years of cobwebs off of our three impossible to reach second story windows without a moment of hesitation, and then he proceeded to clean and polish our large glass windows and doors with painstaking precision and what I can truly describe as loving care:) Lexie and Ronald are both delightful and very professional, and I highly recommend Lexie's Window Cleaning to everyone! read more

Lexie came by and provided a quote to clean the windows in our Marina house. She was 1.5 hours late for our appointment, but other than that very nice and polite. The quote was $350 for a job she estimated would take two people 2 hours. That's $87 per hour. I got an another quote from Xtreme Window Cleaning for $140. It took their two guys 1.5 hours. Assuming Lexie's people are as fast as Xtreme, they're making $115 per hour. With a 40 hour work week that's $4,600 per week or $220K per year if you take 4 weeks vacation. More than what most people make. She also offered to pressure wash my front sidewalk. Instead of $125 I could get it for $75. I called my gardener who I pay $30 per hour, he came by and did it in 45 minutes. I believe in paying people fairly and not taking advantage of anyone. But it goes both ways. I am sure she does a great job, but $100 per hour is to take advantage of the situation. Someone must have the money though, otherwise she wouldn't be in business. Oh well, I'll use the $210 saved on something else. read more
