The non-disclosed ELO GPS tracker that I removed.
    James M.

I purchased a used vehicle. During the sales, negotiation & financing process, I inquired whether there was a GPS tracker on the vehicle. The salesperson, GM and finance person never indicated that any were installed. I wasn't provided with any consent forms to sign. I removed the tracker within 24 hours and returned it to them. They all seemed surprised, except for a tech that stated "Yeah, we install that on all our vehicles. Do you have the cables?" I later receive unsolicited email from ELO GPS congratulating my on the purchase (& activation) of the "World's most Sophisticated and Technologically Advanced Vehicle Recovery System" w/my personal info (phone & email). I didn't consent to this. I recommend that any vehicle purchased at Lexus Monterey Peninsula be inspected by a trusted 3rdparty, especially if you weren't made aware.

Isiah made purchasing a new Lexus go easy and smoothly. He's a great upbeat personality

My favorite place I've ever taken my Subaru to for service!…read more I've been coming here for years and cannot say enough great things about the guys in the service department. They are welcoming, down to earth, explain things, timely and efficient. Matt is usually my go to but have to shout out Gibert, Jacob, Rudy and newest associate Abidin who did a great job assisting me with my oil change and rotation. The prices aren't outrageous and they tell it to me straight when it comes to repairs needed for my car. In addition, I've had last minute issues and always get me in ASAP. Thanks Subaru Service, keep up the great work!

It all started inn 2022, when we needed another car, I went there and they added a bunch of dealer…read moremarkups on an Outback Onix, mandatory items such as moonroof, paint protection, etc. These items totaled almost up to $10,000.00. Our daughter was living in Kansas City at the time and he ended up buying one in Olathe Kansas. For the same exact price on the prices on the internet, no markups that I was aware. then we had it transported to California for $2,000.00. I was mailed a a notice on cardstock, that you could get an oil change for $99.99, and no appointment necessary for oil changes. I smelled a rat and called and the service guy said, well.............. if you go that route the car maybe here for 2 hours. I made an appointment and they said in the waiting room there are snacks and coffee. The only thing left was an apple. So I waited 2.5 hours WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I had not eaten from the night before and that day. I asked the service guy at a kiosk where are the vending machines? Nope Subaru had them removed, there use to be a 7-11 down the street. So the bill came to $144.00, I asked politely where is the 30-40 dollars?. Its because I wanted a tire rotation????????? $35.00 for a tire rotation. The guys there were not rude, they are Gen Z's without customer/human interaction skills. Some do have these skills. But not there. I think a private equity firm aquired this dealership, because the qualitty went down and the prices went up. Needless to say i grew up working on cars as a hobby. I can get the Oil at O'reilly for $50.00, the filter for $8.00. I have impact, and tourque wrenches so I can rotate the tires for 0 dollars, and i will do that, O'reily takes my waste oil for free, because I support them. But i won't support Cypress, and shame on you for charging a $144. percent markup!

Unfortunately, the amateur antics and tone-deaf management at Cardinale Nissan in Seaside completely ruined what should been a pretty straightforward purchase.A week ago, I spoke with a sales representative about a used 2023 Frontier on their lot. While polite, he seemed completely disinterested in negotiating or discussing the vehicle, which is clearly overpriced (estimate 6k over book). In fact, within a 50-mile radius, I can buy a brand-new Frontier with almost identical specs for only about $2,000 more. Instead of working with me which I assumed was the logical approach, they dumped me onto a mailing list with multiple follow-up emails and calls--none of which were personal to my needs. The breaking point came when I received a call from the sales manager, Ryan. Assuming they had finally realized I am a serious cash buyer ready to move if they were reasonable, I called him back. Ryan didn't even bother to exchange basic pleasantries. He immediately said, "I'm putting you through to one of my sales team,", I didn't even have a chance to say a word and was pushed right back to the original sales rep. To make a bizarre situation worse, this representative then tried to pitch me on their "customer referral program." When I asked why on earth I would refer business to them when they haven't even been willing to work with me on the truck I actually want to buy, the rep honestly replied, "Well, I don't know why he called you either." It is incredibly frustrating to be treated with this level of administrative incompetence. Burning a serious, motivated cash buyer through a tone-deaf sales manager stunt is completely unacceptable. Nissan makes great vehicles, but this dealership's sales tactics are amateur, unprofessional, disorganized, and entirely off-brand. I added 2 photos, 1. the strange voicemail from the sales manager and 2. my simple question to Google Gemini on 'Cardinale seems overpriced ?'. Yes I am really irritated and yes I feel sad I have to give such a poor review but it wouldn't feel good to let this go unchecked, Cardinale management should think hard before they practice this level of churn and burn !
