First time coming here and I definitely won't be come in again. I was being helped by Robert. He asked me if this was my first time here, I said yes. Then he mumbled under his breath, well no s__t. Then as I preceded to get entered into the system, another ford tech near by was listening and singing to "Never Going to Give You Up." Weird! But, then out of the blue, he deviates from the lyrics as we locks eyes as he exclaims "I'm never going to f__k you up." He then proceeded to say "I'm sorry bro." as a little boy would tell someone he had hurt not to tell on him. So unprofessional! Don't know why I handed over my keys. I dropped my car off for service. I requested a shuttle. After waiting 45 minutes I asked about the status of the shuttle as I had to return to work. Joe was unhelpful, didn't seem to care at all, and was frankly rude. He said that the shuttle was already dropping someone off in Carmel Valley. I took a walk around the lot and the shuttle was just parked... I complained to the receptionist and all of a sudden the shuttle appeared and was ready to take me, same plate as the shuttle I saw parked. read more

In July, I took my Ford Fusion Hybrid in for a problem with the start-up battery. The facility diagnosed and determined that my 2019 battery needed replacement. They replaced it at the cost of $314.52. Unfortunately, four months later, the same problem came up. I took the vehicle back in and asked for them to see what was going on. Service advisor Campo said they wouldn't do it without me paying them $230.00 for diagnostics. When I showed him the invoice for the prior work done of replacing the battery, and said that it should be covered since the original issue wasn't really resolved, he said that they would only work on the car if I paid. That is highly unprofessional. I tried emailing the dealership. I am still waiting for a response. No owner is listed on their website and there is no way to file a complaint. read more

My daughter is a college student at CSUMB came out to a flat tire and needed to replace her tire. And when she called the service center, they were very unhelpful and made her feel like an idiot because she didn't know the exact tire she needed and wouldn't even advise her on how to figure it out. Another business was much kinder and helped her and advised her on how to identify what kind of tire she needed. We drove up to Monterey to get better selection on available models of a Ford Explorer. Our local dealers had mostly gray or white cars, and we were after a red model with a light interior, since we travel to hot climes a lot. We toured around the lot while they were closed on Thanksgiving day, and scoped out the car we wanted, a bright red deluxe model with all the bells and whistles. We had an easy time making an appointment to lease the car, using a posh older Lexus in excellent condition as a trade in, for which they gave us a generous amount as a trade-in. We had a great experience with the salesman, Mike Aubuchon, who patiently negotiated part of the lease deal over the phone, so we could seal the deal when we came in. Mike was obliging at setting up convenient appointments and he was full of funny stories and experiences that he shared while we waited! The car was as promised with all the accessories we wanted. We loved the car so much after driving it for three years, that we returned to Cypress Ford and bought it! This is a dedicated, professional dealership, and we felt welcomed every step of the way through two deals. They helped us reduce the amount of time it takes to sign papers and make the deals both times, which was especially helpful as we live out of town. The workers there are also COVID distanced and wearing masks, and we were able to sign papers at a front table with Raoul, who explained each document clearly and concisely! From the moment I walked on the lot the sales reps where disinterested, combative and rude. They didn't try to sell me on the car at all. They hardly talked about features, i had to ask. They didn't accompany me on a test drive. When I came in to talk numbers there was no offer to take a seat, can I get you a wanter? Lets work out a deal, Nothing. Horrible customer service. They're service was more than I have experienced at other dealerships. There was an issue with the seats, but Pablo was able to get that issue taken care of us right away. And Alexis was so amazing, very knowledgeable on the Broncos. He knew what he was talking about and had evidence to back up what he was saying. Alexis also offered us refreshments as well as picking up food for us, since we were there so late. Horrible service department. The worst I have ever seen! Don't ever use them- better to drive to Santa Cruz or Salinas. They are not efficient, they never make proper notes about service requests- therefore when you pick your car up the work they promised is not completed or was not done at all. Then you ask about it and they all act like they don't know what you are talking about. Had our car for 10 days and when we picked it up they still didn't change the oil. C.mon guys- this is basic stuff! They had my moms car for 76 days!! They kept saying they had ordered parts but still waiting... A friend brought a work van in there- the guys damaged the entire frame of the van when lifting it up....still not fixed. It has been over a year! my guess is that whoever is ordering parts is slacking on their job and that causes massive delays....also they are just totally unorganized and general lack of motivation to meet clients needs. They need some serious training on customer service and maybe hire people who actually give a shit about customer service to start with. Who is the manager?? And why do they never answer the phone when you call? Who is running this place?? Does the owner even look at the reviews...I am beginning to wonder if the owners just do not care about the horrible service department. read more

He handled a difficult situation extremely well. We purchased a new 2023 Ford 150 Lariat Hybrid Truck. It broke down within the first week of ownership. Cypress Ford had it towed to Seaside from Truckee, CA (6 hours away) and serviced it right away. They provided us with a 2024 rental car at no charge. In addition they reimbursed us our out of pocket expenses for our local mechanic and rental car until the loaner car arrived. Radish KC stayed on top of everything and returned all calls timely. Made an appointment 3 weeks out (that was first available) only to arrive at 8:30 for the appt time and be told that there were roughly 15 vehicles ahead of me and it wouldn't be until early afternoon before they'd be able to look at it. Exercise Caution with this Company Short story: Markups on customer orders, rude, unprofessional and predatory. Go to Morgan Hill, Salinas Valley, or just about anywhere else where they do not charge markup and violate Ford Corporate's wishes. I initiated an order for a Hybrid Maverick XLT at Cypress Coast For Lincoln on September 16, 2022. I had to accept an agreement that implied the company retains the right to implement markups or add dealer add-ons. Tony, a company representative, clarified that this could amount to $1-$k for certain additional features, such as Low Jack and ceramic coating. Though I was somewhat skeptical, I moved forward due to the limited time frame for placing orders. Fast-forward to May, I had a scheduled build date and was ready to discuss financing options. However, upon arrival, I found that Mike, with whom I had scheduled a 10:00 AM appointment, was absent. Instead, I interacted with Tony and a Sales Associate (Ratish I believe). They introduced a pricing sheet proposing an out-the-door (OTD) cost of roughly $41k on a $28k MSRP vehicle, including a $5k markup and an additional $5k for an extended warranty. I firmly declined these terms on my custom order and decided to leave. Later that day, Mike reached out to me, asking me to return to negotiate the situation. He informed me that getting the vehicle at the MSRP was not feasible. However, he offered a $1.5k discount on the warranty and a $1k reduction on their markup. Despite this, he insisted on the markup even after I refused the warranty. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this unusual markup on a custom order. At this point he snapped at me and justified the $5k markup on my custom order by citing the high price of lumber, even though dealers still profit on vehicles sold at MSRP. Unfortunately, the conversation continued to deteriorate. Mike's professionalism dwindled, and at one point, he even stepped out to buy cigarettes and lottery tickets, leaving me waiting in his office. While he was away, he suggested I could speak with the Sales Manager (Bobby I believe), who also left shortly afterward. Furthermore, they calculated their pricing based on a used Maverick on their lot instead of using my VIN. This seemed like an attempt to avoid being flagged for selling customer orders above MSRP. In summary, I found this company to be unnecessarily challenging, unprofessional, and potentially exploitative. I'd recommend potential customers to consider alternatives like Morgan Hill for a more agreeable experience. My truck is due to arrive in a few weeks. If the company reconsiders its pricing policies, I will revise this review accordingly. Additionally, I noticed ~35 1-star reviews relating to their markup practice had been removed. This leads me to believe they might possibly hide other negative feedback. I feel it's important to share this information to assist others in making informed decisions. read more

I found a 2021 Mustang GT500 on AutoTrader. I made an inquiry and was immediately contacted the next morning. There were some simple negotiation on the markup on the vehicle (There are markups are every dealer for this vehicle). We agreed on the markup and had them throw in the black racing stripes on the vehicle. I flew in from Los Angeles and my salesman KC picked me up from the airport and drove me to the dealership. Once we arrived, we checked out the car and paperwork was ready for me. Made a few signatures and in 5 minutes, my car was waiting outside ready for me to drive off. Go to Morgan Hill!! Stay away from this place!! These people do not care about their customers. My mustang is still under warranty. Took it in a week ago to check a squeaking noise it was making and to check the passenger side mirror because the motor was not working properly. They kept the mustang the whole day. When we finally went to pick up the mustang, Joe told us the mirror is cracked and is not under warranty anymore. That mirror was NOT cracked when we took it in. Our concern was that the mirror was not rotating. They broke my mirror and they don't have the balls to admit it! If it was an accident, man up and admit it. Don't try to cover it up by saying it was already cracked when you know exactly it wasn't! We tried speaking to a manager, but it was Ratish who introduced himself as the manager. I don't think he's a manager because he doesn't act like it. I tried explaining to him my side, but he kept interrupting me and saying, "I'm just the middle man." We tried emailing another manager, but we never got a response back. I trusted these people and I was happy with them. Never did I think to take pictures when dropping off the mustang and before walking away from it. If you still plan to go to Cypress Coast, take pictures. If not, they will screw you over. Took my 2020 Lincoln Aviator for warranty work and have been waiting for parts since late October 2023. It has been 4 months and nothing has came in. Ricardo has never called me to give me an update, instead I have called him every 3 weeks to check in and I get the same story, "I have about 60% of the parts here" Lincoln had approved a loaner vehicle but decided to use it when my aviator went in for the work. I haven't been able to drive my truck for the 4 months so I called Ricardo so that he can get me into a loaner vehicle (as Lincoln approved) since I was going back to work in person. Called him on a Monday and told him I needed something by the end of the work week and he said he would get the paperwork going and would have something by the end of the week. Friday came around and no call from Ricardo. I called him Friday at 9:00am and asked what time I can go pick up the loaner vehicle as the weekend was approaching and he said he would call me before noon with a response, I even offered to go pick up the car wherever they were getting it delivered from. Well, it's been a week and I still haven't received a call, text, or email from Ricardo regarding the loaner vehicle or parts. It's very disappointing the unprofessionalism and lack of communication Ricardo has. From the beginning he was trying to talk me into going to get the work done at another Lincoln dealership but since I've bought several cars at Cypress I figured i continue doing business with them. Called this morning to speak to with a supervisor and I'm still waiting for a call from "Chuck".
