    Instructions that lead to failure

    If you book an appointment through Car Advise, they can't see it, they don't know what you ordered, or what your appointment is for, or what you have paid for already! If you do everything car advise instructs you to (They will just assume it is an oil change and only do that[depsite your actual order]) You have to tell them verbally everything, they won't ask you about it, and just take your keys. The last time I went I asked about it and was told I needed to order it in advance, now I ordered it in advance and was told I needed to ask about it now! It's very confusing and misleading so make sure you tell them EVERYTHING you ordered and needed done when you drop your car off or it will not be completed in full. I know it's not fully Pep boys fault but the results are unnaceptable and the system that processes their orders need a major revamp or better customer service. I'd recomend printing out your receipt for your order and physically giving it to them so they have a list of everything that needs to be done and was ordered for work. OR PEP BOYS could ask to help avoid this"What is the entirety of the order" , or "Is it just an oil change that you needed done". Instead of just saying after you say I have an appointment,..... "okay, type type type, I'll take your keys, and call you when it's done". Don't waste your time like I did, and hopefully others can learn from this for the future, customers and businesses alike. Communication is everything, always.

    Dashawn was awesome! So friendly and helpful. I went in to the location in a bit of a rush as I was taking my teenaged son to test for his drivers license- we realized that one taillight was burnt out. Dashawn helped us figure out the proper light to get and even guided me a little while I replaced the bulb just to make sure that everything was okay. I sincerely appreciate the time that he took and the professionalism that he showed. Thank you Dashawn!

    Where did my pep boys go? Did they move or are they remodeling? I come here for car stuff like antifreeze and oil. I hope they didn't shut down. We need an Auto parts shop over in this area.

    I'm telling you - these guys are ON POINT!…read more I was told by a mechanic that I needed a new battery and after doing research, I came across these guys. I must tell you this first... I went by their other location in Downtown and it seemed like 'they were just doing their job'. They meant well and truly meant no harm. I just didn't notice as much proactivity and showing the type of service as this location did! I called up this location and Alfonso (the manager) picked up the phone HIMSELF! The other location said that they didn't carry my type of battery at all! That wasn't the case when I spoke with them originally on the phone... how annoying! When I spoke with Alfonso, he was beyond personable - no matter how busy they were over there. I immediately drove over and noticed how busy they were. STILL - he took the time to speak with me and regardless of how busy they were... he not only found the battery in-house... he gave me a price breakdown and... HE INSTALLED IT HIMSELF! Personable, professional, on-point and doing things right. Now THAT's what I call customer service. I wish there was a 500 stars out of 5. Please do yourself a favor and give this guy some props. He's running a mighty fine establishment! Keep up the fabulous work Alfonso! You are absolutely incredible at what you do!!

    I have a 2019 Tacoma Off Road and Carlos D. over at Go Big helped me solve suspension and tire…read morerubbing problems I started to have and was offering solutions that suits my set up and driving needs. I worked with Carlos throughout this whole process and I'm glad I did because he knows his stuff and the details when it comes to suspension systems. His customer service work ethics are 10/10. I needed a rebuild of Icon 2.5 coilovers and some new all terrain tires. After the rebuild, the shock itself started leaking and Carlos told me to bring it back asap so they can fix it at no charge and make it right. At that time I decided I needed some new tires and they set me up with the new Falken AT4s. After the installation of new tires, alignment, and rebuilt shocks, i started having tire rubbing issues from the increased tire size. Carlos offered a re-alignment to increase the caster even more from what it was originally set at to try and minimize the rubbing at no charge. The alignment was done and the rubbing came back when driving on certain roads so Carlos said to come back again. At this time, he offered to realign again at no charge, but also recommended a cab mount chop to alleviate the problem for my suspension system and tire size specifications. I decided to take his recommendation and went with the chop. I'm glad I decided to go with the chop because it made the most sense and they did a great job with the welds and paint job. I appreciate Go Big's work and shout out to Carlos for his dedication to making the job done right and offering solutions when things don't always go as planned. The solutions Carlos offered were cost efficient but also the right solutions for my driving style and set up. 10/10 customer service and 100% I'm a returning customer. Thanks Go Big!
