Ordered through grub hub. It was our first time trying this place and were very excited about it. Unfortunately the food wasn't hot (we live 5 minutes away from restaurant) ordered chicken and rice plate. the chicken was dry and looked old and like they gave us the scrapes from the grill. There were no real chicken pieces just chopped up chicken crumbs. Rice was ok but it was cold. The pita bread was cold, dry and tough. The cucumber tomato salad was soggy. Also ordered The Greek salad and it didn't come with any dressing just the dry lettuce/salad. Very disappointing to say the least. I later called the restaurant and told them about the food. The man on the phone said "ok thank you". and that was the end of the call. Cannot recommend based on poor food quality, sub-par standards and cold-food delivered. read more

NO SANITIZATION Went for a dine in, order food and realized no table was clean I noticed 3 staff at the kitchen but it looks no one cared to sanitize the tables after a customer left so we changed our order from dine in to take home. 2. TERRIBLE STAFF they never really never cared for any questions we have on the menu and the cashier who took my order called the other 2 staff and showed them my order stub which has my last name pulled from credit card and they stated making fun of it I have no clue what's so funny about it. I was right there to pick my order and I could see and hear them speaking my name out and laughing out loud seriously guys THATS TERRIBLE AND TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE. 3. Food was terrible I got a gyro wrap and that looks just like a frozen one very soggy terrible taste. My wife got a vegetable place rice was blant with no flavor, falafel was over cooked. Delicious takeout. Ordered again recently. I enjoy getting the lamb and beef combo with eggplant (hummus) and salad. This past order the pita was perfect. Food was really good, but giving this 2 stars as the cashier wasn't wearing a mask, but only a face shield. When I asked about him why he was not wearing a mask, he said he had a medical condition. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I understand everyone's gotta work. But, this just does not seem to be a safe option for patrons picking up food during a pandemic. Always excited to find other Mediterranean food options in cedar park. Their menu is standard and the pics look tasty. The actual items are less than exciting. I've picked up twice and ordered via Grubhub/Yelp once Pickup food was decent. Both times I ordered their hummus. The first time I had it was super oily and salty. And a pretty large portion but only on piece of naan. So I ordered it again, same thing. So it wasn't a fluke. Their gyros are tasty but bathed in sauce. So second time I ordered it on the side. The meat was dry and flavorless. I also got their Schwarma. That was good , cooked very well and had good flavor. This was the reviews saving grace. My third visit was an online order for delivery. 30 min to the Order , I received a cancellation. No reason why or a follow up. I was refunded so no worries. But this still leaves me at a three star. Maybe I'll return if there's no other option open in cedar park. Was a good try. I gave it opportunities, but came up short. Good luck. I was sad cause it got solid reviews. Is this the stickiest floor in Cedar Park? Maybe. The restaurant is dirty. The people working at the restaurant are not kind. That's all bad enough. They also packed rice on top of French fries then put chicken nuggets on top of that and stuck it in styrofoam. No adult wants to eat rice covered fries, certainly no child. Not to mention they ignored my special requests and didn't include the sauce for the falafel. Possibly the worst restaurant experience I've had in Cedar Park and generally an embarrassment to Mediterranean cuisine. read more

Very tasty food for a small hole in the wall, the best part is the food is very flavorful and the presentation of the food is very good and the portions are plentiful. Their, French fries are very tasty ask them to make it crispy. I happened to notice it was open yesterday, so today I made it a point to try the food. It was a little bit of wait for the food, but the owner came over and apologized for the wait and explained he was short staffed. I will tell you...the food is worth the wait. (I would have taken pictures but I was hungry and scarfed it down). I had the chicken plate and it was so flavorful. The hummus was delicious and the grape leaves so tasty. The sides - baba, falafel and tabouleh - were especially good. I had some questions about which dishes were vegan and I called over and they were very nice and answered all my questions. I was craving Mediterranean cuisine and I had gone here a while back and thought it was delicious. This time... not so much. For starters no one greeted me or told me that it would be just a few minutes before I could place my order. Fine. I get it, you're busy. Finally was able to place my order after five minutes of being ignored. Ordered the gyro wrap, side of hummus, and extra pita bread. This order was around $15. I waited about 15 minutes for my food, which isn't terrible but my order was pretty simple and I was expecting it to be faster since there were over 3 employees working. The employees also didn't really care about the customers in the store trying to enjoy their dinner because they were blasting music and making really loud conversation. The hummus was terrible. I would say it was bland but it had a gross flavor to it that I had never tasted in hummus before. It looked prepackaged so I'm not sure if it was made fresh for the day or the week...The gyro was so tiny compared to the last time I had ordered it. The pita bread was also just meh and not the best flavor. Definitely not worth the $15 at all. Very disappointed. read more

Changing my review after I picked up my food tonight, 5/28/2020, (we order from them EVERY week) and ALL our plates were covered in creamy jalapeños sauce AND sriracha!! WTF?! We ordered 4 gyro plates with sauce on the side. I told them that the plates they made were NOT what I ordered and the cashier (who was clearly stoned) said "that's how it always is". They did not remake them. Well it never has been like this before in months of eating there and since it's "the way it always is" now we will NEVER be back. Ambience - very open and spacious store that has an open kitchen so you can watch them work. If you ever came when it was the bbq place then you know exactly how it looks. It is the exact same with some minor paint change and most the decor taken off the wall. It is still a nice looking store thou but made me reminiscent of the prior establishment. Service - the service here was really good. There were 3 employees in the kitchen, which is right next to the menu and also serves as the register. I was greeted by a middle aged woman with a smile and genuine greeting. There was a guy that was either the head chef or manager who was also very friendly as well. They both seemed very genuine and happy to be there. I observed them give the same great service to the other patrons as well. So they have some happy and genuine employees. Menu - very simple but straightforward Mediterranean menu with some american twists to it. They have the standard gyros, wraps, plates and vegetarian menus which you can choose your protein. I noticed some american twists like a gyro but made philly cheesesteak style for example. The menu isnt very large but hits all the main staples. Which isnt bad because it means they should be able to execute properly since they dont have a million things to make. I tend to prefer small to medium menus for that reason. But overall it has some good variety and the main hitters. The menu prices are also very reasonable averaging at $9 which is awesome. Food - I got the gyro plate which came with pita bread, hummus, greek salad, meat and rice. The food came out looking pretty nice, decent portions of all and appetizing. The salad was cucumber, bell pepper(?) and tomato blend which was really good. The dressing was flavorful, tangy and very good. The veggies all blended together well with dressing to make a refreshing salad. The hummus was good, very simple and basic but still had a good flavor and nice creamy consistency. Now for the main star. The meat and rice. The rice was cooked perfectly. Had the right consistency and seasoned correctly. Had just the right amount of seasoning to be flavorful and enjoyable. The only downside to the rice was that it was barely warm when I got to the table. Some of the rice was cold and some was just barely warm. I know it's not supposed to be like piping hot but just warm but most of it was cold. The gyro meat thou was awesome. It was tender, juicy, flavorful and just wonderful. The mix of meat and rice was spot on with flavor. I really enjoyed this dish. But there was also a slight downside to my meat thou. About half of the meat was super small slivers or like diced super small, like rice sized. It wasnt a big issue but just something strange, like i was given the bottom of the barrel scraps. But overall this was a great meal. Overall - it felt kinda like the owners of the BBQ place were like I'm tired of doing BBQ let's do Mediterranean. Because almost everything is the same aside from the cuisine. Looks the same, order the same, same beverage station, same napkin dispenser on the wall, same furniture and same paper plates. It's not a bad thing but just kinda how it felt. LOL. The food thou is way better than most of the Mediterranean places I have had and better than the predecessor. I see some other reviews upset about the portion size but I thought it was spot on. It filled me up and at an awesome price of $9. That's actually alot of food and great quality for just $9. So to whoever complains it's not enough is just some cheap fat b@st@rd. I really enjoyed my experience, great service, great price and tasty food. Definitely one of the better Mediterranean places despite it being "served" BBQ country picnic style. read more

Definitely some of the better Mediterranean food I've found in Austin. We tried the gyro, falafel and eggplant dip, all were excellent. If ordering a wrap I would ask for extra hummus or tzatziki on the wrap. I've always said you can tell the quality by the falafel and there's is excellent. read more
