They honored their groupon for weekend. I paid about 60$ for 90m. Date of visit: September 17, 2025 I wanted to treat myself to some self-care after my birthday, and as such had gotten a LivingSocial/Groupon coupon for an hour long massage at LH Foot Massage before 12 pm Monday - Friday for $60... though after putting in the discount code, it came out to $48. This particular location is near the Anny's Burgers in Kearny Mesa. I'm going to be honest - when I walked in, I thought this place was a bit sketch. That is, a dark spa room where I couldn't even find the light switch (I had to get ready using my phone's flashlight), and the vibe wasn't quite as calming as I thought it would be. But, I thought to myself, "This wouldn't be on LivingSocial if it was sketchy, right? Right...?" Thankfully, LH Foot Massage wasn't sketch. The older female masseuse (and I mean older; she looked like she was in her 60s) was definitely a pro at working my joints and muscles. She even stretched my leg almost to my shoulder! However, while she did do a good job popping my joints and massaging my back and shoulders, she didn't pop my toes (though she did pop my fingers - which if you've seen my reviews about massage places, I look forward to). And, her manner was very abrupt - she didn't seem to be friendly, plus she said, "Ok, finished"... then left the room. The massage did its job - but maybe I'll come back if the staff is a bit more friendlier (to be fair, her English wasn't that great). Been going here for a couple of years. The staff is friendly and timely with your check in. Their prices are reasonable. The people working there have you remove jewelry and get comfortable for the massage. I typically get a 1 hour massage (half foot half full body). They check to see if they are giving a massage at the right tension you are comfortable with. The only thing I can say is a bit odd is when their staff is low, typically in the evening, one of them will be tasked to answer the phone and give a massage. That combination can feel disruptive when that person is your masseuse. The stop to answer can feel disjointed. Overall, a fantastic place to go that's enjoyable and relaxing. On 24May2025 around 1600(4PM), I came in to get a massage. My opinion: I asked my masseuse for her name, "sally." From start to finish, it felt like the massage was rushed. For example, she would rub my legs from ankle to back of knee in a fast manner with no pressure, about 30-40 minutes into the massage she walked out to get hot towels and when she came back the door was open the rest of the time making trying to stay relaxed difficult with people talking outside. The only time I felt real pressure was when she walked on my back. I have been to a few massage parlors and this one by far has been the worst all around of them all. Anyone who thinks this place is not good, does not want a firm, quality massage that seriously gets every part of your body. I've gotten their 90 min, 60 min and even their 30 min foot reflexology massage and they are all outstanding. If you don't enjoy being touched then don't bother coming here. They get on top of you, they get your stomach and chest, they get your butt cheeks (which get sore by the way; they do have muscles). They are respectful the entire time and I never feel uncomfortable. If you want an actual full body massage to help sore muscles, with good prices, come here! And yes they add their own tip for the 90 minute massage but don't even act like it's not worth the end price - it is. You'd pay more for a trendy spot doing absolutely nothing anyways. read more

This is not a foot massage parlor as in its name and as advertised. There are no foot massage chairs but low futons to lay down first with your knees bent and your feet in a wood bucket that is narrow and hurts the sides of your lower limps and back. You arch your back in that u comfortable position for 10 minutes while the masseuse rubs the traps. Then the masseuse rubs the top of your feet the sides of the calves. Using knuckles to rub the bottom of the feet. Not true Chinese foot massage! The 60 minute massage was only 50 minutes. At checkout, we were imposed of tipping $20. Improvement? There was a couple waiting as a walk in and another couple walked in that had an appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Few minutes later 2 staff members ran in with pizza and they were running around with pizza slices yelling, calling people, pushing customers into the rooms. Very hectic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They put us all 3 in the same room on massage tables. they don't have chairs (I was expecting like a pedicure chair). 2 people came in and said they can start with 2 and some will come in soon to start the 3rd massage. Then the male masseuse told us to take off our clothes and go under the towel face up. I asked "for a foot massage??" "Yes" "all our clothes??" "No!" Then they left to prepare the soaks. We didn't take any clothes off. 2 females came back and the male never appeared again, he did introduce himself and said he would do the massage. 1 of us got covered with a towel, I got covered with a towel and a face towel, 2 of us got little shoulder squeezes 1 just strictly foot touching. THE MASSAGES; mine and my SIL was mostly just spreading the lotion, my brother said he thought she might've been using a screwdriver to dig into his feet. So there's no consistency even when the massages are done at the same time next to each others. Even tho the experience was not the greatest and I could argue I did not receive foot reflexology service at all, just very moisturized lower legs, we appreciated them trying to get organized and provide a service, we tipped little over 20%. He always gave the MOST invigorating massages; if you know, you know! The combination of these 2 elements allowed me to ignore the gruff Chinese aunties, loud rooms only partially enclosed, and uncomfortable, scratchy, small and thin TOWELS they offered as coverage. However, now their prices have gone up to $55 for the special. I have since found an alternative at the same price that is much quieter -- therefore, more relaxing -- and offers actual sheets as coverage, ones that actually cover you. This place is highly attentive and is very affordable! I recommend coming to this place for whole body massage. Their foot massage is the best!! I got the hour and a half body massage for 70$. I got a massage by a women and she was strong and gave a great massage! I think the environment could be better. Tons of workers were in the front when we arrived. I will say it's not the most comfortable meaning the doors half way open to the rooms, the towels kinda smell, and I think my ass was out while the door was open.. not everyone would be okay with this. I think when I said the tip amount the worker was going to start to fuss about it, but then I corrected I could add more to make the amount even. I think if they gave maybe soft sheets to lay on and soft sheets to cover up with.. it would be a simple fix! And the door situation, they have windows in the rooms if they needed airflow or could add a light fan to the rooms for circulation of air. read more

OK, after further research, it turns out that a lot of the upcharges they tack on--like charging extra just for being pregnant--are not only highly unethical but, in some cases, even illegal. They should be very careful with these random upsells because they're starting to come across as scammy (see previous reviews from other customers) I tried to be fair in my original review, but now that I understand how much I was taken advantage of, I feel differently. If they try to charge you extra for ANYTHING, ask them to justify it. See if their reasoning actually holds up--chances are, it won't! Honestly, your best bet is to take your business elsewhere. PS: We even called ahead to ask if they had massage chairs (for neck and shoulder), and someone told us they did. But when we arrived, we found out they actually don't. Been here multiple times for their $40 foot reflexology massage. For that price, the expectation isn't high; however, each time has been a pretty good- except this last time. I went by myself around 1pm and they took me to a private room in the back past their staff kitchen, next to their washer and dryer. Felt very sketchy to me. No music, I could hear the washer and dryer going and staff talking and eating lunch. Then, I've never had a masseuse straddle my lower legs when rubbing my back and butt. Again, been here several times. It felt like my towel covering my butt was exposed more than it should have been.
