Came in here on a Sunday with my mom and my sister and her friends and we decided to get some foot massages. We chose this place because they said that they had individual private rooms... and we were all only getting a foot massage. Everybody went to their rooms and I finally went to my room not only did I wait 15 minutes after my start time, but this lady insisted that I needed to take off my clothes so she can massage me when I only ask for a foot massage. I was confused and I asked her why when I'm only getting a foot massage and she said that she needed to be able to work on my head, neck and upper back. She gave me a little sheet/towel to cover myself and I'm thinking OK well this should be fine since it is a "PRIVATE ROOM"... my massage lady (I forgot to get her name) left the FREAKEN DOOR WIDE OPEN while I was getting my massage!!! I couldn't tell right away that my door was wide open because I had something somewhat covering my eyes, but something in my heart was telling me that the door was open and when she went to go put the water away after rinsing off my feet, I did not once hear her open and close the door while she left the room. Which makes me believe that door was wide open, and I even took off the blindfold to see it for myself and I was right. Door wide open and I heard so many people men/women pass my room while I was getting my massage. Very unprofessional, did not feel safe. Do not go here, especially if you're a woman!!! if this is what they do when they expect that you don't see anything I wonder what else they do here. I'm not looking for any compensation. I came in for a $40 foot massage and I gave a $10 tip. However, the staff and the owner insisted that I must give a $20 tip. They were very aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable. My family frequents this place often, and bought me a gift certificate for 2-hour massage for $80. This was when I was pregnant, and the certificate expired. When I called to make appointment I told them about it and they said it was OK. When I arrived, they would not honor the certificate, saying it was expired and they are a "new owner." I came to get body massage few times here and the staffs really pissed me off when I gave tips. I gave 25% tip on one service and she complained the tip is not enough. She expected me to give 50% tip and blamed that she worked very hard. I was thinking that everyone works hard to earn money, not just her. The front desk person also asked me to give up to 50% tip. BURNED SKIN of BOTH KNEES !!! I decided to share my recent awful experience with this place. One of my older brother's friends mentioned/suggested about this place, especially Lilly's name. My bro and I went there and paid $40 per person at the front desk for full body massage. Before starting, I especially showed the areas I have issues/pain (shoulder, upper back, lower back and knee) so Lilly can work on them. She started on shoulder and then she went out of the room and came back with a heating pad+hot towel. She placed my knees on top of that heat pad/towel, when I was laying on my face down. She kept going on the massage on my shoulder, upper back and lower back. I started to feel very warm on my knees and asked her to remove it. She ignored it. It was about total 30 minutes past from the beginning and I asked her again to remove it. She did it right before she told me to turn over and lay on my back. But I felt really hot on my knees. I could not see anything without my eyeglasses, so I lay on my back. I think right after she realized that my both knees' skin BURNED that I am not aware; she went out again and came back with a menthol cream to apply on my knees. She kept applying the cream about 15 minutes to my both knees. I think she tried to COVER UP her mistake with by applying too much of menthol cream on burned skin of my both knees. After a while I did not feel my knees because too much of menthol cream made my knees and around area fresh/cool and numb. The massage session was finished and I put my clothes on without putting my eyeglasses on which I always put that at last. Then I tipped her $25 without knowing that she BURNED my both knees' skin since I cannot feel my knees' burned skin due to extreme usage of menthol cream. You can see the attached picture of burned skin of my both knees. I then got out and waited for my bro to get out from his massage session. We came back home about 3 hours after that and I took a shower. Then I realized BURNED skin of my both knees. I had my bro took pics of them and called his friend who suggested this place. His friend talked like he did not care at all about my burned skin caused by this place and masseur name Lilly he suggested; which pissed me and my bro a lot. Then my bro called this place and talked with the guy who sits in front who I believe the owner. The owner tried to belittle this physical damage (burned skin issue) his place and personnel caused. After my bro sent the pic to his cellphone and the owner talked with Lilly, he apologized and Lilly offered a free service to compensate. Nothing can compensate the burned skin of my knees and the pain I feel. I cannot bend and walk through with my knees due to burned skin. I am using Aloe Vera cream every half an hour to heal my knees' skin. I thought that whoever considering to go that place should know about my experience and decide accordingly. After an hour, the masseuse stopped massaging and told me that it was finished. The lady at the front said I told her that it was okay for me to pay $40 for an hour of massage. My buddy and I went and my buddy just fell asleep during the massage. It was relaxing and nothing was painful at all. I went to get a foot massage yesterday (keep in mind I've been here before) and they have never asked me to pay MORE TIP MONEY?! A 1 hour massage was $25, so I tipped $6 which is a 24% tip. This is quite a generous tip considering a normal tip would be around 15%. Anyway, that wasn't the problem. I've been here twice and both times I had a pleasant experience. They work on you from head to toes and front to back for an hour. I usually go to other foot massage places where I would end up with bruises because they don't know what "OWWW, that HURTS!" or "STOP, it feels like you're killing me!" means. Not this place, they always ask "Do you feel okay?". I don't know why some people are complaining about the price. I always try to place myself into other people's shoes. If I worked hard using my strength to massage people for 15 bucks an hour I would hope my customers would tip me well. For all you know, they could be living off their tips. I went here yesterday with another brave soul, determined to find this fictional place (because everyone has been talking about it, but we've never ever found it in the past). The whole experience was....pretty traumatizing. if you wanted to fall asleep, you couldn't because at some point they throw both your legs up in the air and drop them onto the recliner. (they did a total of maybe 5 times, so if it didnt wake you the first time, they got you on the second, third, fourth, and fifth try). The back, neck, shoulder, and head part was probably the worse. For a girl that bruises easily, I would say that the massage consisted of uncomfortable. unpleasant rubbing. THE WORST, ABSOLUTE WORST, part was the head massage. I think this is pretty hard to screw up, but let's just say there was some ear penetration going on that was really really really really gross and did NOT relax me. On the brighter side, they do know how to do a really good foot massage and the hand massage was just OK. there was a lot of punching and slapping, but there was probably about a good 10 minutes that came out of that experience.
