She likes this place and her and her kids come here more often than other massage places. The shop is a long narrow shop in a typical strip mall but has been converted to two rows of massage "capsules". So you get a private room but each room is separated by three wooden walls and a curtain that open up to the main aisle. Still, plenty of privacy and the therapists there are strong and do a fantastic job. The massage I received was relaxing, but we were asked to tip a minimum amount for the services received. I really think it's up to the customer to tip what they feel is best, but imposing a minimum tip is to be expected nowadays (at least here in California) when you go to a massage parlor offering inexpensive massages. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm surprised that not a lot of people mention Andy, I had him a couple of times and he's really good, he's probably the youngest masseur there, maybe in his mid 30's.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He hasn't worked there that long, but he got some serious massage skills. He told me he been massaging for 7 years and it shows. The way he massages is so different from all the Chinese massages, he uses different techniques like a mixture of both shiatsu/Thai and Swedish. Is great that he does some stretching. He had me sitting up and he massages my shoulders and it hurts like hell but the next day, I felt so good. I always tipped them well $20/ per hour. If you tipped them well, the next time you come back, they will treat you better and remember you, I guess that's why the front boss lady is always nice and friendly to me lol. I like the place, is nice clean and quiet. The temperature is perfect for me too, I don't like it when is cold. You guys should try Andy sometime, he's really good and professional, he speaks English too. There's plenty of parking and afterwards, you can go next door to get some pho. This is my go-to place in the garden grove area. It's really straight to the point but I found that the massage therapists take direction very well (aka if you want them to stop beating you up, they will stop). The hot stone massage is great and that's what I normally get. They have separate rooms but they're divided by curtains? I don't mind much. For a $40 massage, this isn't massage envy so while you can expect the same level of relaxation, the environment is completely different. Don't forget to leave a good tip! read more

I took my mom for a massage for Mothers' Day and decided to try Happy Lily after reading the positive reviews. This is the third massage I have gotten in the Westminster/GG area and it's my favorite so far. Although Lotus has nicer facilities, the massage at Happy Lily far surpassed the one I had there. The massage I had at Bamboo Wood was also good but Happy Lily has nicer facilities. I called that morning an hour before they opened to book an appointment for that afternoon. We decided to do the 90-minute combo. Originally, I had wanted a massage from Steven because his name is mentioned most in the reviews. He has the day off every Tuesday, so we went with whoever was available. I had Momo and my mom had Emily. Both were experienced and strong. The massage beds are separated by curtains (cloth ones, not the clear plastic ones like Olala) and you choose to have your own individual stall or together with your friend/spouse. It's quite dark inside, which helps toward the relaxation, but if you're near the end of the hallway, you can hear cars driving past as if they are right next to you. Our massage beds were also across from the restrooms so we could hear masseuses going in and out of the restroom to wash their hands and get the hot stones/hot towels. The lotions they use on your face and hair are heavily perfumed. However, all of that I could overlook because we both had really solid massages and I left with all the tension in my body gone. I was relaxed for the rest of the day and had a really good night's sleep after! When you first enter, the masseuses helped us into a wrap-style dress and then covered us with a towel. They'll direct you to lay with your face in the hole on the massage bed. It started off with strong pressure on the back with the masseuses using their elbows to dig deep into your back. Most of the focus is here on the back. They used less pressure and spend less time on the legs. The neck is not really focused on either but a good amount of time is spent on the head, which feels like the scalp massage you would get at the salon, except that it's done with your hair dry. The stones feel hot at first but your body adjusts to the temperature and it really helps the body relax. For the feet portion of the massage, the masseuses sit on the other side of the curtain in the hallway. At the end, they offer you hot tea or water. The premises are clean and has fresh linens on the massage table. It's a no frills massage, but it is affordable and you do have privacy from the curtains (unlike other places) and most importantly, the masseuses here are experienced, which is most important! read more

Me and my partner just took a full body massage from here. He had a gift card from his cousin, so we went and took a $70 dollar massage each plus $20 for hot stones on stomach each. First my experience, I got a guy and he was really good with his deep massage. I love it and he relaxed me real good, I got the lotion on my face massage and hot stones like requested. My partner said his was nice and deep too, BUT he did not get the lotion and hot stones on belly. So maybe next time we go we can remind them. The last comment is with tip, I am not against it but I would love to see maybe a chart with the total being displayed, for example: 1.5 hour massage would be 70 + 20 (suggested tip) = 90 Overall it was a great massage might come back. read more
