[Note to the reader: I give this a four star as to not seem rude, but depending on the time of day you go I would easily rate this a three star.] Here is my first time in the store: It was clean, I was going to try this place out for the first time with my girlfriend. We walk into the store, so far so good, the environment is clean and the workers seem happy for the most part, with smiles. The demographic at the time (noon-ish) were mostly young people, probably high schoolers. Most of them were fine, except the two girls me and my girlfriend decided to sit next to. It was my fault for changing seats, but the only other seats available were handicap accessible seats, and I didn't want to hog them on the rare chance that some handicap person comes in and needs to use that table. Regrettably, I end up sitting next to two stuck up popular-girl cliches who were loud and snobby. I sigh in relief as they left later. I asked for a black milk tea with grass jelly, and the cashier talks me into saying their earl grey milk tea is their standard black milk tea, which I know is wrong, but I don't feel like arguing. She seemed new, lots of the employees seemed new. I can tell by how slowly they were performing actions that I would imagine someone more experienced would perform much quicker. Things like putting a lid on a jar. It shouldn't take like a minute of struggling. Hence my assumption of new employees. I know my milk tea, and earl grey is not a default black milk tea at any milk tea store. So I was tempted to three-star because this experience but I do generally enjoy lounging at T4, dispite their target demographic being families with lots of kids or high schoolers. Most of the workers were young women, and anyone else (manager, workers in the backroom) were older adults. Most T4s I go to play EDM which I am a huge fan of, but this one plays old school R&B music, which is okay I guess, but not my thing when lounging and drinking milk tea. We also ordered the honey chicken wings and fish and chips. The fries in the fish and chips were pretty good actually, but I am not a fan of the fish, because it tasted more like a chinese restaurant flavor of fish, and not good old beer batter cod fish and chips like the ones you see in San Fran or Pacifica. I was not a fan of the fish flavor, it was not traditional beer batter, more like a halfway between panko and store-bought chicken nugget breading. I was not a fan of the fish, and let my gf eat it all. I did enjoy the flavor, texture, and how well the chicken was cooked, but it had these stringy things which I cannot identify what it was. Could it have been hair, chicken feathers? I don't know. It disturbed me slightly because I couldn't tell what it was, but I assumed it had to be part of the chicken somehow, and if it's cooked, might as well eat it. I wasn't going to eat that fish, not a fan of the flavor. Your hands will get sticky and messy eating these honey wings, but the bathroom is AMAZING. The most eye-opening jaw-dropping epic memory of this store was the bathroom. I know I am weird, but bathroom quality is one of my favorite things to mention in any restaurant. A clean restroom shows there is a pride among customers and coworkers alike, as it shows character, respect and responsibility by keeping it all clean. The smell in the restroom is great, they put this nice odor neutralizing gel beads container behind the toilet. The bathroom was well stocked, clean and had a home-feel to it, which is important to feel comfortable in the restroom so you can do your business with the state of mind that you feel safe, and at home. This sums up my review for T4 on the east ave location in Livermore, CA. My Advice: Never do anything on weekends, it's crowded everywhere. Don't come when high school kids get off school if you aren't a fan of that scene/noise. Don't let anyone talk you into getting anything, know what you are getting and order that. I regretted drinking earl grey, because I was not in the mood for that flavor at the time I came in. Okay bye! read more

Horrible customer service. Very arrogant owner. Staff is nice. Wouldn't even let my daughter place her bike close on the outside of the business. We spent over 60 dollars on drinks and appetizers and they started mopping as we sat in the booth. A half hour before closing. On another occasion after spending 71 dollars they kicked us out the door. I will go have my tea downtown on first street and maple from now on. They know how to treat their customers. T4 in Livermore is truly an amazing place. Daniel went over and above for our 2019 Safe and Sober Grad night. He not only donated a tremendous amount of free product but also delivered and ended up staying for several hours and serving the students. He was fun and engaging and the kids loved him. We just had a wonderful 1st time experience here. The place was clean and and modern with several new games to play during your stay. The staff was helpful and explained their menu options when we had questions. Delicious food and drinks. We even received some complimentary French fries while we were there! I love the T4 chain. I use to go to the Dublin one before this opened (it was always packed), but now I don't have to travel far for my bubble tea cravings. Quality and customer service here is still superb, if not better than the Dublin one. and they hire a diverse group of employees. I probably get boba at least 4 times a month read more

Very slow service. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks today, which is typical for this particular T4 (even on a slow day). While the staff is friendly and apologetic, they are incompetent. Each time we've been something goes wrong- whether it's our drinks or at the register. We're still fans of T4, we just hope the service gets better. read more

Wonderful setting. Safe setting for kids to hangout. Owners are just wonderful. Staff is always polite and so courteous. Food and drinks are wonderful as my daughter and her friends and I have been trying all the different items on the menu. They continue to add fun flavors and mixtures to try. You can mix and match and have so many options. Both cold and warm drinks. Love that there's card games and board games to play with and keeps the kids entertained. Tried this place for the first time this morning and ended up coming back again tonight. I love the smoothies here and their food is great too! Customer service was excellent, staff was very helpful and friendly. It is relatively cheap for the quality of food. I definitely would recommend this to anyone! Was driving by Livermore and dropped for some food on Saturday 1pm. Everything was finger licking delicious! Our two kids loved the fried fish fillet and tea eggs. We enjoyed the fried calamari and curly fries too. They must have a top notch frier back there because things are super crunchy without feeling too oily read more

I'm from Washington state and this place reminds me of some of the boba tea places I go to around Seattle which is a good thing! One flavor I would recommend that isn't on the menu is the taro/strawberry smoothie. Seems like everyone liked it. All in all this place is great! read more

I was visiting family in Calif and decided to drop by since it was a hot day. Great boba pearls; soft, chewy and the perfect sweetness! Loved the vibe and cleanliness of this place. I created a yelp account just to write a review for this place, it has long been overdue. I'm so glad the owner reads these reviews and asks when something goes wrong, shows a lot about customer service. So my story... I moved to Livermore from Fremont a few years ago, very disappointed in the limited selection of asian places to eat here. When I saw the sign that T4 was opening near where I live, I was so excited and knew I was going to be a regular. When it opened, there's was always this young lady with long hair behind the counter and manager Daniel, both very respectful with great customer service. The atmosphere was great, food and drinks were delicious, and you could tell it was a happy staff. It was my favorite place and I recommended it to all my friends. Then I noticed the lady and Daniel wasn't there anymore, the staff was changing all the time, the food and drinks weren't as good, and the quality went down. Drinks were much sweeter than before. Seasoning in the foods weren't as flavorful. The quality didn't taste as fresh. I stopped going there for awhile. Finally, one day, I went back again, and I saw Daniel... I was so happy he was back, but was too shy to tell him. Haha. I noticed everything got better again - the drinks, snacks, quality, customer service and staff. Believe me, I have tried pretty much all the snacks at this place and a lot of the drinks. I am back to recommending this place to my friends. Friendly workers, clean, modern, with delicious drinks. I got the milk tea with boba and was very impressed.

Unfortunately, this is the overall review for several visits. I say unfortunately because i felt this place was 5 stars when the owner is there running things. When he isnt there, the store lacks proper management and things are inefficient or poor judgement is made. 1st example, on 2 occassions, the music being played had explicit language, and blasting loudly, granted there are a good number of high school or grade school kids, but there are still small children around and probably isnt best idea to learn their first f words from a boba store. There are some other times where it took 15 to 20 minutes to get drinks, which occurred only times when the owner (younger gentleman) is not around and it wasnt as busy [no comparison with dublin t4 which is constantly slammed but drinks are done no more then 10 minutes with 10+ orders in]. Final straw was we had to wait over 20 minutes to get our drinks but it was how it was handled during and after the drinks were made that gave me a really negative experience. It wasnt busy and granted their were two customers before us has and a 9 drinks between the 2 groups. They ran out of boba which was fine because none of our drinks needed boba. However, the workers had the drinks just sitting there waiting for the boba to be made. When i finally.received my drinks (over 20 minutes to wait after waiting in line for 10 minutes with just 2 customers ahead of me), i suggested in future they should have made.our drinks first instead of waiting in order for the first two groups needing boba. I said we shouldnt have to wait for boba if we didnt order any. Both female workers replied that they were first, therefore my drinks needed to wait and they were still working on their drinks when the boba was being made (wasnt really true because i had counted 9 drinks ordered total just sitting there and both workers didnt really looked organized and not sure what to do, which made sense because our drinks were just empty cups until all 9 drinks had boba in it (20 mins had past). which is unfortunate because we come here like twice a week, but when i have workers get offended and decide to take a stand when i offered the "correct" suggestion, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The older gentleman who cooks did offer an apology but it wasnt his fault, its the people who run the front that needs to either have a manager there running things or learn a bit more on the customer.service side. Besides the older gentlemen offering an apology, the other two girls felt nothing was wrong and its ok to wait for drinks for an extended period of time. Wont be back here again read more

Ok, this place has decent tea and food for the Livermore area. BUT I HATE THEIR SERVICE. Even if I call ahead to make an order they tell me it'll be ready in 10 minutes. I get there on time and every single time I had to wait WAAAAAY longer than expected. I get there and they just start making the drink once I tell them I'm there for a pick up. This happened even when they aren't busy! Once, I made an order 1 drink, 2 popcorn chickens. They said 20 minutes. I actually arrived late, 30 mins, because traffic was longer than expected. BUT THEN I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 20 MINUTES. This has happened on multiple occasions. I feel as the employees are below average and work very slowly. They're very nice and I appreciate their work but I wish they would be a little faster. And tonight I found a hair in my popcorn chicken that CLEARLY did not belong to me. It was a black hair, my hair is dyed pink... And the environment is hectic when it's busy. The music is too loud that you can't have a conversation at the table. And most times it's too loud o can't hear the employees talking when I'm making my order. Also when there are customers playing games they sometimes get too rowdy they shout. Even so, I keep coming back and giving them money because other boba places nearby have terrible tea. I would like to be in an out really quickly cause I don't like the environment but the call ahead system sucks. read more
