Rema was very helpful on getting us started on ideas and options of colors for our master bathroom. From the time the construction started till the end, was done in a timely manner. Whenever I had questions, I would always get a text or email with an answer. When I requested to get something done, they got it completed. Definitely would recommend them. We contracted LIA Construction to do a major remodel of our home including; relocating water lines, removing a load bearing wall and replacing with a 16 ft. support beam (including all associated permits), removing a pantry, creating a counter top peninsula with drawers on one side and seating on the other side, creating a 8' x 6' pantry, creating a built in bedroom closet to replace standard 2 sliding door closet, painting floor and ceiling of two main living areas (with up to 15 ft ceilings) and replacing 2100 sq ft flooring with 2' x 4' porcelain tiles and all associated baseboards. Needless to say it was a large, multi trade project requiring lots of coordination between the various trades and the homeowners. We received 3 bids and from the beginning their pricing was very competitive. Dror listened and seemed to understand exactly what needed to be done. LIA arranged to procure the flooring and quartz we selected and the project started on time and was finished way ahead of our timeline. We never had any changes to the original pricing, no hidden surprises which is rare. The workers were hard working and polite, often staying late to get as much done as possible which was fine with us. Most of the workers have been working for the company for years and you could tell they took pride in their work. They fabricate their own custom cabinets so the built in closet, pantry and drawers were all made to our exact specifications and allowed us to keep our existing cabinets. The cabinet workmanship was A+ as was the counter top (also done in house), and all of the tile installation. Dror, Rema (Ops Mgr) and Cindy (Project Coordinator) were easy to contact and responded quickly to questions. Any concerns we brought up were cordially addressed and easily resolved. Timeline commitments were met or completed ahead of schedule, permits and inspections were a breeze and the entire project was 90% completed in 8 weeks with another 2 weeks of small follow ups vs. 4 months others had estimated. We are retirees and have done many projects over the years and we have never had a smoother, higher quality project experience than we had with LIA Construction. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. read more

Had to replace our entire master bathroom shower stall as it was causing leaks and consequently water damage. We hired LIA and they did not disappoint us. They negotiated generously on a quote for our remodel. They also installed and painted some walls and ceiling that was removed from the water damage. The shower stall was a simple project but they did a fantastic job. They were also gracious enough to dispose our old shower stall and glass door. read more

Caused damage to my recently painted house, oil leaks from workers truck all over street in front of my house, cut into shower water line flooding my house and damaging my ceiling and couch and have not repaired anything in a sufficient manner. read more

I had an in home estimate to build a cabinet and upgrading appliances. When Wally showed up I gave him specific measurements of the new appliances that I had pulled up from the website. He didn't seem to understand what I needed, nor did he seem to understand the measurements .When I voiced my concern about this he took he left. read more

LIA Construction does very good work. When there are problems (and there are always problems) they stepped up and resolved them. I would recommend them for any home remodeling project. Let me start by saying Ally won me over , she is AMAZING! I started with getting 4 bids to remodel my master and guest bath. LIA was the 2nd most competitive out of the 4. I went with them because of Ally, I new she would be a pleasure to work with . Ally was very responsive, and never made me feel bad about questioning something . She was clearly my advocate in making sure everything went perfect. One suggestion I have (that is no fault of LIA) is to make sure to not choose your materials from a photo. I made this mistake and the color was a bit different in real life . No problem, Ally to the rescue. She even offered to come over and go shopping for replacement materials with me. Does not respond to emails, texts. After service is really bad. Once they get paid in full they dont bother to pick your phone or text or email. They left my laundry job incomplete. I believed in them trusted them so I paid. But they never came back to fix my plug points and light under the cabinets. The owner Dror promised me that he will do complimentary shelves in my laundry which now he refuses to do. I gave them the whole kitchen remodeling business. I was planning to give them bathroom remodeling too but not any more. Please don't believe Lia construction. Beware they are liars. . They never complete their job. Time to review LV Home Concept and LIA Construction In short: I wouldn't hire them again to remodel my kitty litter boxes! (Comments are limited by space.) Let me introduce myself. I am a senior using savings trying to make the home comfortable and safe for the rest of my life. Hopefully a long time. The project was described as a "complete remodel" and "update" of a nearly 40-year-old master bathroom. "Everything goes", all fixtures, sinks, counter-top etc., "I'm tired of the gold," specifically excepting the cabinets, medicine cabinet, mirrors and the pocket door. The pocket door was damaged and not properly re-stained. I purchased what the contract required: "shower fixtures, hardware kit, countertop, paint, trim wall (? trim) and floor tile." "Provided by the contractor: lights," (purchased 3 additional for which there has been no reimbursement. Doesn't apply to my purchases but only to can lights mentioned earlier in K. I see no such limit in "lights.") "sinks, baseboards" (They discarded most of the custom wood baseboards preexisting in the remodel area. Excuse: they were damaged during demo is not supported. They will need to be replaced when you refloor. Not necessarily) "grab bars, grout, labor" ("labor" is not all inclusive, but applies only to what they say it applies.) "rough materials." The remodel planning and execution: All I can think to describe it is "counter intuitive." A bench was built on the Jacuzzi motor wall before the motor was removed by the electrician so it had to be removed through the repair access door in the closet. Result: minor damage to the closet wall. Those shiny gold lights-were not, according to LV Home Concept and LIA Construction, part of the "complete remodel of a 40 year old master bath"and "everything goes." ("Provided by the contractor: lights") New lights purchased by homeowner were installed before the wall was prepped and painted. The labor for painting by them as not included. ("Provided by the contractor: labor"). Having the electrician install new lights before the painting was done or having the bench built before the Jacuzzi motor was removed, thus denying the electrician easy access to the motor for removal cannot be explained in any way other than the client is secondary to whatever else was going on in the business. Finally, the wall extension phone not used for 30+? years was removed and wall repaired in July. Ignored until the last redo. Told by the contractor that he didn't know what was wanted re the phone. He never asked. The work the last worker was sent to do what was inappropriate for a NEW room. His efforts on the pocket door are not acceptable (brush wide not nail cut wide) but he did remove the phone and repair the old wall in which it was located. He also REPAIRED the outside of the new walls installed in the room to make the fixed new from scratch shower. Quality of work: Some good, some poor The good: I have been told that the tile work is good. Electrician and plumber to the best of my knowledge were capable. The last worker did some good and some marginal, but generally acceptable for the "clean-up" work to which he was assigned-with exceptions. The bad: The invariable contract, interpreted to Home Concept LV's advantage, states without equivocation that the shower walls are to be "Hardi Backer." By name! No alternative.Without any discussion they substituted Fiberock. Houzz, the referring contractors' group, said on its website: " https://www.houzz.com ' discussions ' 6033936 ' do-i-need-to-waterproof-fiberock "Do I need to waterproof Fiberock? - Houzz Fiberock is not meant for shower walls. outside the shower in a damp area, it's fine. Inside a shower, Durock should be used." I offered them an opportunity to finally and properly finish the new wall and pony wall built to create a large shower without the tub before I made my issues known to the outside. They agreed that the work was not properly done and sent workers to re-grout the shower floor again and to deal with other sealing issues, to remove the tile for installation of proper trim and to fix the sharp corners. They removed/reinstalled tile and trim before the wall was replaced causing extensive damage to the NEW wall. The walls should have been replaced before the tile and trim were (re)installed. Did they replace the damaged wall board? No. It was patched later. Grout+water from the re-trimming and/or resealing the floor went into my sinks requiring about an hour of my time and effort to free one grouted in place drain plug and drained the water in the basin and to remove grout from the drain area and overflow drain openings and clean the grout residue from both sink basins. The clogged sink is used only as a "cat bed" These are only the highlights. I want to be able to live in my house. All of it. They are clearly not able to build the quality new master bath that they were hired to do. read more

Doug, (sales), reassured us that we would be pleased with our renovation (master bath) and it would take about 4-6 weeks. He was very pleasant, optimistic and informed us that they had all of their own crew. After 6 bids, we went with LIA Construction. The first 30 days were great with communication and our project manager David B. consistently reassured us that everything would be "amazing". After the first 30 days, communication completely fell off and I found myself chasing him for responses. This is also when I found out that some of their people are sub-contractors. Many days workers would not show up or say they'd return later and never did. This became very frustrating waiting at home not knowing if someone was going to show up each day. There were no delays in supplies or products, there were no moving of walls, but my renovation took 3 months. I was constantly told (after finally getting a hold of someone) that someone was showing up and I was misled too many times, week after week. I was beyond frustrated and my patience had run out. If I had the option to part ways with them sooner, I would have. I am not satisfied with the work they did - poor grouting on my shower floor, vinyl flooring (small area they added to existing flooring) keeps popping up from not being glued down properly, they also cut a post tension cable in my slab (which they repaired) but didn't advise me until I asked, and they miscut the vanity quartz top which they had to redo and did not see it as a priority to get done. We were always accommodating with our time, practically begging them to show up and get the job done. I've learned my lesson and will never use nor recommend them again. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company if my life depended on it and people that came to the house to redo. Our bathroom was not experience workers. They screwed up numerous times and if I didn't catch it and see it, they wouldn't come back and fix it and they left things with holes in the wall, the shower doors were not lined up in the water came through and there was missing grout all over the place. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! First issue is Dror showed up 2 hours late. Second, he was holding a full blown conversation with one one else on his headset while we are standing outside in the scorching heat. Third, he quoted me $1650 to tile 5sf. And install a 2' x 5' piece of granite. When I told him we were given an estimate of $200 by "Bruce" he replied "tell Bruce to do it" and walked away. Not sure why he was so rude, maybe its a cultural thing or maybe it was the heat, either way there is no reason to be so rude to a potential customer or anyone. I can't tell you what his work is like because I would never hire some so rude in a million years but by now you should know how this mans attitude is (rude). read more

Kitchen Remodel 10/23/21-12/9/21 First and foremost the quality of these cabinets can not be found in the big box stores. Custom made at a reasonable price. While unforeseen difficulties delayed a speedy completion, quality of workmanship was not sacrificed. Workable solutions were found and work continued with minimum delays. Workers were respectful, and some of the nicest people my wife and myself have ever met. The owner of the company visited the worksite on several occasions directing the remodel. It's very rare that I ever write a review, about as often as I spend a large sum of money on a project. This time was a bit different than the rest. After conversing with 3 top rated contractors, we selected LIA Construction after visiting their office and seeing first hand the team they have to handle all aspects of any project. I felt they were worth my investment of my money and my trust to do what they said they would and how I wanted it done. My project was a complete bathroom remodel to a walk in shower, new floor, vanity and all fixtures. They walked me through the step by step process of what would happen, what they would do and what I needed to do and even gave me a solid estimate of what the total costs would be, including their charge and what I could expect to pay for the items I needed to buy. Did it all go perfectly? No, what ever does? However what impressed me most was their dedication to making it right, till I was completely satisfied. I've been in the customer service business for over 35 years and I know what it's like on both sides of the fence and they came through! From their office Manager Miranda, who keep us informed each step of the way, answered every question we had and even took whatever time I needed to walk me through each purchase I need to make to who was coming on what day, to accomplish what task. Then the crew itself, from William, Oscar, the guys in the wood shop, the granite cutters to the Supervisor Ariel who inspected all the work after each Team Member completed their task for the day ...and you know what impressed me most about Ariel? He wasn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and do some of the work himself, because it needed to get done and he was probably the most qualified to do it and get it done now and done right! That's leadership! You can probably find some contractor cheaper, but I don't mind paying for quality and that's what you'll get here. We had nothing but trouble with this company. Late and lousy job in pairing the cabinets without a primer. As a result of that the cabinet painting is already peeling off within a month. We complained to the owner, Droer. And he refused to do anything because he is saying that we are the ones who made the scratch. Peeling is already happening everywhere in the cabinet. read more

We simply cannot recommend LIA Construction (especially Eric Mizrahi) more highly. We have remodeled other homes in other locations over the years, and none of these projects have gone as smoothly or painlessly as has our current remodel in Summerlin under the supervision of Eric Mizrahi. Eric has a great eye for detail and design. He also is quick to make suggestions that achieve the effects we were going for by less expensive means. He vets his staff carefully, and every single person who has shown up to work on our project at his behest from the general helpers to the stone artisans have been knowledgeable, hardworking, punctual, and respectful. Our project included adding stonework to two full fireplace walls as well as upgrading floors, changing cabinet colors, and coordinating modifications to accommodate new kitchen appliances. The living room stone project morphed into a much larger project than originally planned, and the results are a spectacular floor-to-ceiling work of art which we are thrilled to be able to gaze upon each day. Eric stays on top of everything and is very accommodating, patient, and flexible as smaller related projects crop up along the process. He also has all kinds of good resources for other needs like housecleaning, duct cleaning, plumbing, electrical work, cabinet makers, etc. As relative newcomers to Las Vegas, Eric has saved us a lot of time and headache by pointing us in the direction of other service professionals who he has already vetted, and each person he has recommended has turned out to be a winner. Eric has earned our trust and undying gratitude for making this process so much less stressful than such projects we have tackled in the past. He is "good people," and he uses only "good people" on his projects, and the end result of our project exceeds all expectations. We're fans for life! read more
