I really liked this place at first and had no complaints until I found a rock in my side order of refried beans and I almost broke my tooth. I assumed at first that it could have been an uncooked bean, but it was definitely a rock, because refried beans are not supposed to be crunchy and when I spit it out it was a small rock and I don't think it was just one.There had to be multiple little rocks that I found in the beans being that the refried beans were overly crunchy like if you were crunching on a rock candy that's how it felt. I didn't see any rocks in the other items I ordered, but after that incident I didn't finish the rest of my meal and don't plan on going back. This is not safe at all and I would recommend not eating here unless you want to have severe abdominal pain and potential intestinal surgery due tears in your stomach from consuming rocks. This is my local go to spot. It's right down the street from me right in my neighborhood, and right with the food. Taco Tuesdays are always a hit here soft tortillas meat are on point. I love a $.99 taco place. Asada, carnitas, even their chicken. I recommend it all. Salsas can use some amping but other than that I love it all. They also have the burger special with fries. As always I get the fries well done and extra red salsa to dip. Yes I avoid the ketchup not that I have anything against it. I also order the seafood tostada it's such a bang for the buck. Comes with three tostadas and I ask for extra tapatio because I like the heat. Most of the time our meals don't past $25-30 for a family of 3. I went for taco Tuesday to sample their meats, and ended up with three street tacos for $3.20. Pastor: Not terribly bold in flavor, but pretty good. I'd get this again, but wouldn't go out of my way. A little dry, and not very tender. 3/5 Asada: My least favorite. Chewy and tasteless, this had no spice that I could discern. 2/5 Carnitas: The best of the three. Not tender really, but in no way chewy. The softer bits came with crunchy ends enough that I noticed. I liked that a lot. 4/5 Salsa: For three tacos and a small bag of chips, one small container of a fresca style that was really useless, having very little flavor, and not enough of it to accomplish anything. If they had given me four of them, I would have tossed them all, so there's that. Think... el pollo loco style salsa fresca. Today I decided to try their chorizo breakfast burrito. Beforehand, I checked yelp to see how the reviews of the breakfast burritos are. I read a recent review about how the cook wasn't wearing a mask so I was more hyper-aware of that as I was getting my food today. While I was waiting for my food at the window, I did see that the cook (a man) was indeed not wearing a mask. This is not okay... we are in a pandemic. It's so important for places to follow protocols, and not risk your customers and employees health. Even worse, Anaheim has one of the highest numbers in Orange County. Please be mindful of the community you are in! Because of this I unfortunately won't feel comfortable coming back here any time soon :/ Bummer because I really enjoyed this spot and that is my only issue but it is a pretty big one for me. read more

Just went there 20 min ago. Opened up the food that we took to a park and to our surprise no forks for the rice and beans. Before that when we were at the drive thru I checked my food and we were missing the fries, the cashier had forgotten our fries. The fries are soggy and were not seasoned correctly. Negative reviews bring me no joy in life, but after this absolutely horrendous experience there's no way I could give more than 1 star. My coworkers and I were on our lunch break and figured the drive-thru at a taco shop would be a tasty, safe bet- couldn't be more wrong. There was no one in front of us in the drive-thru but it literally took us 30 minutes to get our food. Yes, you read that right. No, I'm not embellishing. 30 minutes. First, we had two separate orders- so when we pulled up to pay, we were surprised when we were told it was $18. We explained that yes, when we ordered separate orders we actually meant we wanted to pay separately too. So that tacked on some extra time. She came back a few minutes later with new receipts and somehow my coworker paid $8 while I paid $15. For those of you keeping score, that brings our total to $23, which is considerably more than the $18 we had initially been charged. Whatever. After paying, we waited another 20 or so minutes to actually get our food. If we hadn't already paid (and I thought there was a snowball's chance in hell that it wouldn't take an hour to be refunded) there's no way we would have waited. It's clean and there is outside dining. I usually use the drive thru and take it home. Tacos are 99 cents on Taco Tuesday, and they're GREAT street tacos. Their seafood is fresh whether you get the Cameron's Mojo de Ajo or the Ceviche, you won't be disappointed.
