Not a bad find at all. Was looking for a good bottomless brunch. The mimosas had a little extra OJ in them but hey it was completely okay, it was only $10. I was scoping out the brunch specials till our waitress Olivia recommended some good food on the main menu. Their Caesar salad was delicious and refreshing. It was a big size. I like Libby's for breakfast and brunch. The food and atmosphere is excellent. Great for groups of 4 to 6 people. Has a nice modern yet eclectic and cozy feel. Be careful about the wait. It can get busy but rarely are the wait times excessive. read more

Read the bad reviews but decided to go anyway, what a mistake. Where do I start. Needs to have a zero star option. 'Popular' crab cake apps came over fried. For dinner, ribeye was ordered woth portini mushroom and glaze, came overcooked, charred, no glaze and zero salt and pepper or flavor. For over $30 dollars you'd be better off stopping at publix and making your own. Wife sprouts which cost extra were beyond burnt yblack and past the state of being edible. Oh and yes the service is not great as everyone else has pointed out, forgot to put in our salad and then tried to bring it after dinner was almost done. read more

Went to Libby's for the first time on Thanksgiving. We both ordered the Thanksgiving dinner, which came out so quickly, it was faster than our drink order. The turkey was moist and flavorful. Cooking Turkey in large quantities usually means dried-out turkey that NEEDS gravy for moisture, but not here. The honey carrots were perfectly cooked, not mushy at all, the sweet potato was delicious as was the stuffing, which was a sage stuffing. We had key lime pie for dessert (I was a little surprised that there was no pumpkin pie or apple pie, but the key lime pie was also delicious without being overly sweet or overly tart. The service was terrific. Even though they were busy, we never felt rushed. We were very happy with our meal and have already discussed going back for dinner another time soon. Food was cold and dry. Only thing hit were French fries. Probably Monday is not one of their better days. Place was practically empty so ambiance was non-existent. Service was not great as it seemed only a couple of servers workingMost likely will pass this by next time; definitely not worth the price. Extremely disappointed with the service at this location , after being sat , nobody would come to take our beverage orders, we had to call another person, after completing our meal once again we needed to call a server to get a dessert order, we saw our dessert at the kitchen table and servers walking by it and once again we needed to call someone to alert them that our dessert was sitting there , EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the service read more

Last night I had dinner at Libby's with my friends. I ordered the classic Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Although I'm not a foodie, I've had enough Ceaser salads in my life to know when one is seriously lacking. I don't know what was missing but the dressing was SO bland, no zing. Maybe it didn't have pepper or lemon or anchovy paste...I'm not sure! I got the salad with grilled chicken. Has no one heard of seasoning? Salt? The chicken was also bland. If I had wanted, I could have sent it back but I just decided to eat some and leave the rest. My friends ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce (or some call it gravy (yuk)) was tasty but missed boldness. I personally found the meatballs to be a bit mushy and too sweet. I'm just not sure I'll return because this was my third time there and each time I have been less than pleased. It's a shame, because Libby's is one of very few restaurants that's more upscale than something like Texas Road House that is close to my house. read more

Had a great happy hour at Libby's in Lakewood Ranch. The food was great and manager, Tommy Brown was very accommodating. It's really a cute place. The service is great and very welcoming. I would have given it 5 stars but most of the food was extremely salty. I ordered the soup and the grilled chicken sandwich. I could barely eat a few bites. I have been there twice and it was just as salty. I had a few friends go there too and said the same thing. Another friend said she wrote on her check that the food was too salty. If you're on a salt restricted diet avoid this place? Your blood pressure will go thru the roof and the cellulite that you will have on your derrière will make you wear sweatpants to the beach. read more

We have had good meals before here but did a carry out on a Monday and the food was terrible. We contacted the restaurant by email and got no response. The fish and chips is advertised as Sea Bass and it was definitely not sea bass - it was cod or haddock and it was very chewy and fishy smelling. The 'double' veggie burger was so thin it should not be advertised as a double burger - the bun was very stale. We will not go there again. read more
