I've been a fairly regular patron of this place for the last several months, mostly for lunch. While I love the food, the vibe, and the owners, the young woman who waits tables is really bad at her job. On multiple occasions she has forgotten to put in my order and has then come back to ask me again what it was I ordered. Today it was about 45 minutes before she realized that I was still sitting there waiting. Granted that it was very busy and the owner warned me up front that it might take some time, but I watched multiple tables who were seated after me get their food. When the server finally realized that I was still waiting, she came over and again asked me what I ordered, then I watched her walk over and talk to the owner, presumably to tell her she didn't put in my order and to put a rush on it. The order came out soon after, but she didn't acknowledge her mistake and that was it for me. If she had at least acknowledged that she forgot to put in my order, I would consider going back, but since she did not, I won't be. read more

It was a gloomy day, so we decided to sit inside. The inside was decorated with many unique pieces of art. They ranged from colorful to a little creepy. The dining area was small, with really high ceilings. It looked clean and the tables and chairs were made from wood, making the place feel casual. The food was tasty!! They had a large range of food on their menu. All were delicious, definitely well seasoned, and had their own untraditional flair. I promise myself I'm going to get that again next time, but then there's always something new to try, and that is always fantastic too. Went here for the first time today after hearing about this place from a friend. We ordered the Big A** Breakfast Burrito, Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Ube French toast and the weekly special, a French Onion Burger to go. The burrito was big as advertised and very delicious ask for the habanero salsa if you like it spicy. The pulled pork was good but I do wish it would've had more sauce to it, I also would've preferred the meat to be shredded, it was cubed. Ube French toast was good but definitely need to add more sweeten condensed milk to it if you prefer it to be sweeter, just ask for more and they will give it to you. French onion burger was very flavorful and I would get that again if I see it on the menu, I only tried it cold off my friend lol overall it's a cute little spot with pretty good food. This is my second time here and I had to get their big ass burrito again. I would say they have one of the best breakfast burritos, super flavorful and the sauce that comes with it is delicious. Pro tip, ask for their habanero salsa to go with the burrito. When coming here I want to try something new every time, this time we ordered the Ube French toast which is great but we had to ask for extra condensed milk for the right amount of sweetness. We also got their pulled pork burger which has a runny egg and other things on it. The sauce on the burger was good but needed a little more, the pork itself wasn't your typical pulled pork it was more like tender pork chunks (carnitas style). The ambiance is nice, filled with pictures to look at and you get kinda lost in the history of the photos. Like punk/rock alternative type of vibe. They have doors that are open to where you can see the chef cooking while you're at your table. As for service, the waitress is really friendly and nice. I would say it gets packed but manageable for 1 person to handle. Upon sitting down we weren't served right away which was fine since we needed extra time to look over the menu. We still didn't get our waters we asked for while still figuring out what to order but it's ok. The cups were a little stained I'm assuming from the tea that's been served in it. I am giving this place 3 starts because while the ambience and service was so nice the food was just disappointing. It was extremely salty.... The Thai Mac and cheese was nice but somehow lacking in actual flavor, the tater tots were decent but I really disliked that homemade ketchup that was served, the sesame egg noodles were eatable but not necessarily enjoyable, and the burrito was just a mess. Typically I'd say I'm a pretty easy person to please but unfortunately today it's a whole other story. I'd like to come again and maybe try different things because I love to support local eateries. We also got the burger of the week: a fig and blue cheese burger. It was perfectly juicy with noticeably fresh ingredients. On the side we're crispy, salty, delicious tater tots with a house-made ketchup and chipotle aioli we requested. The ambiance was very relaxed and eclectic. The music was a bit on the louder side for those who prefer a more quite setting. There is a patio with umbrellas for shade on the hotter days as an alternative. Service was great! Coming from a quick trip to Fresno visitor... This is a little hipster diner with a lot of vegan options available located downtown. About 5 tables available outside with about 10 tables inside. The menu is unique and runs the gamut, but think mostly heavier items; def no salads here. We ended up with the mushroom toast with an egg and the lamb sliders. Well the mushroom toast was delightful. Truffley mushrooms with an over easy egg on thin sourdough toast. I think a bit more substantive bread would have even took this up a notch. The lamb sliders at $18 were a bit pricey for what it was. The sliders were fine, but very little lamb and very bready. I probably wouldn't order those again. The tots were crispy and delicious. Overall, my one and only visit would have me return, but I'd probably stick to those breakfast style eats.
