One of the best breakfast and brunch places in the Fresno area. Besides the traditional varieties, they have other specialties like their crafted coffees, Mexicali dishes, and Ube blueberry waffles; Ube on Ube on Ube. Their service is quick and friendly from the time you enter to the time you leave. Inside is clean and has a nice modern country style feel. Clean bathrooms with actual paper towels and not horrible hand dryers. Their prices are reasonable which makes it even better. You won't feel like you're paying extra for the "it" place. So if you're in the area, feeling for breakfast/brunch, or just want to enjoy a good dining experience, come check out Early Birds. It's definitely worth your time.

I finally tried Early Birds Cafe, and it has officially become my new favorite breakfast spot in Fresno! Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy scramble with eggs, plus an extra side of their homemade biscuits and gravy, and you can definitely taste that the gravy is made from scratch. We also tried the homemade chili verde, which had the perfect balance of flavor and spice. To drink, I had two Vietnamese coffees, and they were amazing. We also ordered a waffle that was light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to our server, Natalie, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. The restaurant was clean, the food was high quality, the prices were very reasonable, and every dish exceeded expectations. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Fresno, give Early Birds Cafe a try, you won't be disappointed!

7/29/26 GREAT breakfast! Time to try lunch next!! I called and ordered the BBQ tri-tip sandwich with no mayo and onion rings. Oh, I also ordered dip sauce. They have with BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich or dip sandwich and I wanted both. Worker had no problem including both for me!! Sounded Great! The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 5-10 min..... Arrived!! Packed house! Great! Greeted by kind worker! Order ready and waiting to be picked up! Paid for order and received with good day wishes! Appreciated!! Calm and low key atmosphere. Great!!! Safe & clean! Lunchtime! BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich dipped is WoW DELICIOUS! Tender meat, cheesy, fresh bread and GREAT bbq sauce & GREAT dip too!! Seriously scrumptious!! Onion rings are tasty & good also!! I had 1/2 & that was plenty! Another lunch and more onion rings leftover! Great service & GREAT lunch!! Highly recommended!!

I don't post reviews often but I felt like Early Birds Cafe deserved a 5 stars. The word that comes to my mind when describing them is hospitality. Feels like your generous, welcoming neighborhood breakfast joint. They're very attentive and friendly. Everyone appears comfortable and right at home. Most of all, I love their pancakes. Fluffy with good texture to the bite. Their fruits are fresh. Not drenched in syrup. They make something so simple tastes perfectly made for you.

Sunday morning family breakfast! I haven't been to this location in yearssss when it used to be B&K. It's beautiful inside, clean, modern and it gives comfy vibes. My little family and I arrived around 10am. They were busy checked in got a buzzer was told about a 15-20min wait. We actually got called in sooner than 15 mins. Our server was Natalie she was very sweet. They are kid friendly and provided our 2kids with color sheets and a high chair. They have waffles/pancakes, omelets, Mexican, and the original breakfast favorites. We ordered: chilaquiles, lg country fried steak, caramel banana pancakes (made to a meal with extra charge) with eggs and sausage. We also ordered a matcha latte and Vietnamese coffee with ube cold foam! Took about 15-20mins for our food to arrive. Everything was beautifully plated and huge portions. Oh my everything was DELICIOUS and made perfectly! The tots and hashbrowns all crispy! The country fried steak was perfect compared to other breakfast places this one of the best it wasn't greasy and not over done. The sausage was soft and tender. The chilaquiles were so good!!! Flavors all spot on! We were stuffed couldn't finish our food. The matcha latte and the Vietnamese coffee with ube was outstanding!! This place is SOLID!!! Might have found our new favorite breakfast spot! Service was amazing our server checked on us and the rest of the staff did too. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

3.5 Service is great. You're automatically greeted with the friendliness. It's very homey inside. They're super busy but you get seated fairly quickly. Breakfast burrito: it's good but I felt like it lacked some seasoning. The texture and flavor kind of mash together. Nothing really stands out. I feel like it needs a fresh element, maybe some pico. Maybe add some crunch, extra crunchy taters inside the burrito itself. This is just a personal preference. The salsa they provide is super plain. Really needs some salt. You get a nice roasted smell from the roasted tomatoes and you get a little oniony flavor but that's it. Nothing spice, no tangy. (3/5) Loaded tater tot bowl: really good. The country gravy they provide is nice and peppery. It had whole chopped sausage in there. Creamy, delicious. My only complaint for this is, they use pre shredded cheese. Which is not the problem, a lot of places use pre shredded cheese. The problem is the flour that the company uses to keep it from sticking to each other comes thru a lot since they're using the cheese as a topping. Please wash the cheese. It was very gritty. (4/5) Caramel banana pancakes: these were good, but they're undercooked. Could use a minute or two longer. (3/5) I know my review seems so harsh along with all the really good reviews. Please do not let this deter you from trying this place. This is just one persons review. I'm definitely going to come back and try it out a few months from now.

First time here, the parking was full but there was plenty of seating available inside. We were greeted right away and seated. It's clean and well lit. We preferred the booth so we got seated there. I wanted to try the Chile verde and Ube pancakes so we got that with a little add-ons à la carte. The Chile verde had good flavor with a little hint of spice. The eggs, sausage and bread were prepared perfectly. The country style potatoes need more of a char/crisp to them. The Ube pancakes were well made, I just think that the description on the menu had me hoping to see a purple Ube pancake. I would like to come back and try the chicken fried steak and the chile verde as a burrito next time!

Don't be deterred by the outside area. The interior is a nicely decorated new restaurant with fantastic food and unique takes on traditional meals. - Ube pancakes: thick and fluffy but not doughy, which is a hard task to achieve. Wonderful Ube sauce. Get extra Ube. - Cheeseburger on sourdough: fresh made hamburger patty with yellow and white cheese. Great flavor. Fries that are crispy on outside and soft on the inside (cooked in beef tallow?) - Eggs Benedict. Thick ham. Good hollandaise sauce . Get the country fried potatoes with it. - Chili Verde burrito. Tender chunks of pork with a nice verde sauce and a spicy salsa on the side. Served with beans. We ordered three Vietnamese coffees with each of the available creams (Ube, banana and vanilla sea salt). All tasty. The coffee itself if fantastic also - so your choice. Friendly server. Also met the owners. Wonderful people who are passionate about creating a great meal experience.

Ube syrup, my daughter asked for extra syrup and the owner brought over the extra syrup as well as this Ube syrup. Outstanding!

Food 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 I cannot recommend this place enough. From the minute we walked in, the ambience, the service was outstanding. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the food came out!! 1000/10!!! AND they offer a military discount!! **The owner, K, is very involved and active with customers and staff. We are already planning our next visit.

Ok my Early Birds you know I am a huge fan of Home Made Meals. Well Early Birds Café is certainly a great example of this. Let's talk menu super impressive for a establishment this size. Food portions are huge but they do offer different portions according to your liking. The service was top notch friendly , attentive, they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your visit. The cafe itself is nicely furnished redone for a fresh appearance and a welcoming vibe. Now this place is located in a neighborhood setting that provides a great neighborhood dinning place that is a great addition to the area. Go check this place out and be spoiled with great food and great staff. The owner Kanitha has been in the business for a long time starting as bus boy and rose through the ranks and now he's an owner of this cool place. Hear his story and enjoy I'll see you there. OMGGGG, this was so gOOOODD! Crispy country fried steak smothered in creamy gravy, fluffy eggs, and perfectly crispy breakfast potatoes. Everything was cooked just right and packed with flavor. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. 10/10 i love me some of that The restaurant is beautiful inside. it may look like a bit rundown outside but don't let that fool you.

Came grand opening day! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff and was helped to a table. The whole cafe has a cozy, homey vibe, absolutely love that aesthetic. This cafe serves breakfast and lunch and is open 7 days a week from 6:30am-2pm. Got to meet the owner and he shared he has been in the breakfast house business since he was 15 years old, so you know the food is going to be GOOD! The order: I got the smoked salmon Benedict that came with hash brown and a side of fruit medley. The salmon Benedict was delicious, I usually see the eggs on top of the Benedict but this one is under the salmon. The hash brown I asked to be made extra crispy and they did just that. Loved it, no complaints . I got my son the chicken strips that came with tots, they thoroughly enjoyed it! The chicken strips came out nice and hot, the tots were crispy and fresh. And only for grand opening day, we got a ube drizzled glazed donut with whip cream on top. It was the perfect end to our meal. The food was amazing, the service was great, the food came out in a timely manner, overall great experience and would come back with my family.

Stopped in the other day and had a great experience. We were greeted and seated right away, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. My buddy enjoyed the chili plate, and I had the Meat Lovers plate with pancakes--everything was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were perfect. The military discount was a nice bonus. Great food, great service, and great people. We'll definitely be back

The food is always hot, the service is excellent, and the staff does a great job keeping everything running smoothly. Jus' Jo's is located in Clovis off Shaw Avenue. If you don't know where it is, you could easily drive right past it since there's no prominent street sign, but it's a well-known local favorite. Depending on the day and time, there can be a wait, which says a lot about its popularity. I was recently asked to write a review about this place, and honestly, I didn't have anything negative to say. I usually order the Farmer's Special Breakfast Sandwich, which comes with ham, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo on sourdough bread. It's an awesome breakfast sandwich and one of my go-to orders. Today, however, I decided to ignore my diabetes for a moment and try their famous half cinnamon roll French toast. Wow. It was crispy, buttery, topped with powdered sugar, and absolutely delicious. I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. It was my first time trying it, and it definitely won't be my last. The coffee was great, and they kept my cup full the entire meal. One thing I've noticed is that many of the waitresses seem to have worked here for years, which speaks to the quality of the restaurant. They're experienced, attentive, and always on top of their service, so be prepared to leave a good tip--they earn it. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot in Clovis, Jus' Jo's is definitely worth a visit. Great food, great service, and a consistently enjoyable experience.

Everyone was so nice, Jessica…read moreespecially was super attentive, our coffees were always full, our food came out at a decent time and it was still nice and hot and she was so friendly throughout our time here, so Jessica if you ever see this, Thank you so much, we appreciate you! We happened to be in the area today with a failed trip to Lithia Ford for a car repair. We both were hungry and needed to choose between breakfast or Mexican food, we flipped a coin and the coin chose breakfast. I'm glad it did, cause right when we were heading towards another breakfast spot, we made the quick decision to just choose what was nearby. It's a restaurant name we've heard of, but haven't been, so we opted to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Because the food was amazing and the service just as much! Parking lot was full but not too crazy, that luckily came after we were seated. Inside was nicely themed to Louisiana Bayou with gators and cute signs with quotes and a big tree in the seating area with sound effects of bugs from the swamp. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a nice greeting from one of the busy waitresses who let us know we would be seated in a moment. Our server Jessica came up with a smile and a warm welcome and had us follow her to our booth. We both started off with coffee and browsed the menu, this menu had some usual fair but definitely stayed in the theme of the restaurant with Louisiana cuisine, like andouille sausage as a breakfast meat choice. I went with their "Hucks Platter" which is 3 eggs anyway you want, choice of potatoes or hashbrowns and you can choose between a couple varieties of meats, steak, chicken fried steak, sausage, bacon and andouille. It also comes with a choice of side, being toast, homemade biscuit or their huckleberry bread? I played it safe and went with the white toast. I also went with the bacon cause I love me some bacon! It was hickory smoked and my goodness it was cooked to perfection! My whole meal was cooked perfectly! I truly appreciate the cooking staff for doing such an amazing job during a busy morning. Jess chose the Banana Foster French Toast and my goodness! It looked just as good if not better than the picture. It was loaded, thick and comes with a side of eggs and your choice of meat. She loved the French toast, she's never had Bananas Foster before but she said it was decadent, sweet and had a nice caramelized flavor. Would recommend and also get it again! We paid, "with tip" around $57, which isn't bad for most breakfast spots now a days. Especially when you're getting this kind of food quality and service. We never went without a fresh hot cup of coffee and a nice check in from Jess or one of the other servers to pick up a plate or ask us how we're doing. I do apologize for no pictures, when the food came out, it looked so good we just dug right in! We both would absolutely come back and eat here again if we're in the area or back in Fresno looking for a breakfast spot. If you're in and or from here, you should definitely make this your go-to breakfast spot!

Very late review, 2 months late…read more I went with my niece and a couple friends one Saturday morning. No reservation so we waited a good amount of time but it wasn't so long that it was unbearable. Very cute waiting area. I didn't expect it to look as... modern? as it did? I'm not sure what I expected it to look like but it was nice inside. Staff was suuuper friendly. Every single one we spoke to. Considering how busy they were (constant flow of traffic/customers)... I appreciate that they can still smile and make you feel welcomed. I ordered the OG French Toast, my niece got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on a Croissant. I can't remember what my friends ordered. Portions are very good. We could have easily split a plate (my niece and I) and be okay. Classic American breakfast. Everything was good/satisfying. We all enjoyed our meals. I also got their Brown Butter Iced Coffee-- saw one of the guys that worked there drinking one behind the counter and asked what it was, lol. I can't say it was the best coffee drink I've ever had but it was still pretty good. Not strong though. Though I've written a raving review, when it comes down to the food, it's not the best breakfast I've had around Fresno. It would not be a first choice for me personally but I also wouldn't mind coming back if my friends wanted to. Plus, there's so much more to try on their menu so it's not fair to judge overall food off one visit. For now, they are a solid 4.
