The food came out exceptionally quick, and hit right on the taste buds. The service was above average, waiters had great manners and were very nice. The ambience was an old school 80-90's style of diner along with countryside views, the patio had a great area to eat.

Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They were busy but still fast service. Wednesdays all plates are $13.99 and they are huge! Plenty of seating area inside and out.

Great experience here for late breakfast on a Thursday. Enjoyed my savory crepe with ham, country potatoes, and country gravy. Delicious! My friend enjoyed her very berry waffles. Friendly service, no wait. It is often pretty busy on the weekends. Good coffee and hot chocolate. Nice diner / cafe vibe.

Wait times can be long, but they don't rush their customers. They're very busy! I always enjoy their breakfast. My only knock on my last visit was the berry waffle. It's still yummy, but I was a bit disappointed how the fresh fruit was swapped out for something similar to a strawberry sauce you would find on an ice cream sundae. It may be cost effective but they used to be my most favorite waffles. Please bring that fresh quality back! :) The whipped cream was piled so high that I got a spoonful of butter with a bite, lol. Ewww, lol. Regardless, I would return still.

Small little place, I knew it had to be good when the parking lot was full. Service was fast and super friendly. Lily and Carlos were very attentive and nice. My coffee or water never went empty and they did it with a smile. Restaurant was clean and food was delicious. Highly recommend this cute little place.

Visited on a Saturday morning around 10 AM, and as expected, the place was packed. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, with another 10 minutes to place our order and another 10 for the food to arrive -- not unreasonable for a busy weekend, but definitely on the slower side. The standout here is definitely their griddle items. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, the crepe was just right, and the cinnamon roll French toast was a nice surprise -- indulgent without being overly sweet. Mimosas were also a highlight, well-balanced and refreshing. The rest of the food was decent but unremarkable. Eggs, bacon, and the Denver omelet were all standard fare and could've used more seasoning -- everything lacked salt and depth of flavor across the board. Service was friendly, though quite slow, likely due to how busy it was. The place itself is a bit run-down and could use a good cleaning, but despite that, it's clearly popular and has no trouble drawing a crowd. The mountain view adds a nice touch, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, it's a cozy, casual spot best enjoyed for its sweet breakfast items -- just don't go in a rush, and maybe bring your own salt shaker.

Blossom trail outing went well and lunch time was spent at the Blossom trail Cafe. This place is definitely a Mom & Pop hole in the wall place definitely a special place for the locals. Staff were very hospitable and attentive. Food service was different. There were plenty of waiters but still had to wait a bit for someone to finally wait on us. Once that happened we didn't have to wait long for our food. Portions were plentiful. This place was not exciting just a good place to eat.

I have been meaning to try this place. I was finally in the area and decided to stop in. They were extremely busy. We were offered to sit in the patio area (it was foggy and cold). The gentleman who was helping us stated he would turn on the heaters and we could check it out to decide. It was enclosed which actually made it really warm. I was worried we would be forgotten since we were the only table outside. However, the staff was on it and helped us promptly. The food was hot and came out quick. Everything was good. Portions and pricing were reasonable. Not sure if I would make the trip back but if I'm in the area definitely.

Wasn't expecting the place to be packed early morning, but it was. But we got our orders promptly, in the nice outside seating... very cozy in this weather. The food is delicious and staff is friendly. Only thing I had issue with are the flies, maybe need more fly traps for the patio tables.

The food and service was good, but the place could use some TLC. We were seated at a booth, and the backs of these booths look like they have been washed in years. There were so many stains we didn't want to lean back. They have typical diner food, and we weren't too hungry so we decided to split a sandwich. It was very good, and they were nice enough to serve it on 2 plates and gave us each a side of coleslaw. We had the sourdough turkey club with pesto mayo and it was very fresh and delicious. The avocados and pesto mayo really enhanced the sandwich. And it was plenty large enough for sharing with our order of fries, which were also very good. This would definitely be a 4-star place if the booths weren't so dirty.

Now one of the things I look forward to is visiting King's Canyon.  After seeing the sequoia's we have dinner at Red Caboose Cafe.  I get to watch the trains run while our food is looking. There is a huge menu but I can't resist the honey fried chicken. Honey fried chicken had a crunchy batter with sweet honey flavor.  Chicken was tender and juicy.  Red Caboose Cafe is one of my fav places to get this style chicken. Tater tots had a crispy exterior and decious potato flavor. Beef barley soup had a delicious flavor from the beef, barley, carrot, and seasonings.  I have not seen this soup anywhere else. Roll was soft and had a tasty buttery flavor. Hospitality was excellent and everybody was treated like a regular.  I met the owner Teresa Claborn and she was very gracious with her time talking about the trains and nearby National Parks.  I look forward to visiting again to watch the trains run, trying more menu items, and enjoying the fine hospitality.

Weekends may be different... 2) LOTS of parking and big spaces, unlike at other breakfast spots. Wide parking... 3) Food comes out HOT! Very casual and laidback. 11) Humble decor that isn't overdone, busy or crowed. Not loved: 1) NOTHING stood out! They had a '2 for 1 special.' IF you've read my reviews you know that means that I sometimes order TWO entrees and I--ONE PERSON--polish them both off! GB3 AHOY! Ordered: 1) Water, no ice, no straw. 2) Biscuits/gravy ala carte. 3) Beni bowl, extra hollandaise sauce. Detail: 1) Food comes out HOT. With REAL steam coming off! Something overlooked and under appreciated at other restaurants. 2) Textures were intact and varied, even noticed with something like the a humble potato! 3) The beni bowl had both chorizo and bacon in it. Each was cooked perfectly and they didn't include all the GREASE from cooking both of those up! The poached eggs were fantastic and... 4) Both the hollandaise sauce and the country gravy had deep complexity and subtle interesting differences. Again, something missing from most breakfast places in Fresno. 5) Today, I ATE the actual biscuits that came with the gravy. Something I don't think I've done for YEARS! They tasted fresh, textured and were NOT SALTY like lessor quality options. 6) Pricing is so reasonable! Honestly, I've had this un-scratched breakfast ITCH for the longest time that never gets scratched. That all changed today! I'm refreshed getting plugged in with a restaurant that gets subtle differences, quality, textures and flavors with staff that IS actually connected to what comes out of a kitchen, what competes and stands out among similar options, how it TASTES! Thank you always Lord for both the resources and the opportunity to enjoy even a lessor meal in Fresno. But man, I appreciated this end of the spectrum. Keep up the good work, Branch!
