The only concern is that the workers that are behind the kitchen which were doing mostly cooking everyone's burgers are not wearing masks. Despite the grumpy hostess, we got a table after a reasonable wait. We sat upstairs, inside and had a great waiter. I had the Wild West burger and my husband had the Nooner. We shared them and they were both great with both skinny fries (got cool quickly b'c they are so skinny) and the sweet potato fries (slightly bigger so stayed warmer). The Texan owners of this small burger chain needs to come up to this location for "Quality control"! The salad we ordered was completely inexcusable. It should of never left the kitchen. Actually it should of been in the trash as to where we requested it to be sent to. There were globs of rotting dark green to black blobs of lettuce, not just one sneaking in but lots! We've been to Liberty burger multiple times now and it is hands-down my favorite burger restaurant in Jackson. Today was no exception. Usually I order the Nooner burger, but today they had a spicy crispy chicken sandwich that sounded delicious so I decided to try that. I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was crisp on the outside, and juicy on the inside. They added their homemade hot sauce and a poppyseed dressing, plus lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles to keep things fresh. So good! I ate every morsel. We also ordered a Sticky Situation shake which is creamy, ice cream goodness with peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate. Best shake around! Hard to even share it with my hubby or our kids, it's that amazing. We also ordered the stuffed jalapeno poppers, which definitely brought the heat, although the price was a little steep for just three poppers IMO. Lastly the shoe string fries, just don't do it for me. They are not seasoned at all, they are just tiny little nubs when you get to the bottom of the container. The bison burger was very thin and bland in flavor; all you could taste was the bbq sauce on the burger. In hindsight I should have known it would have not been a good burger when the waiter didn't ask what temperature I wanted the burger cooked to. The burger looked like something from Wendy's. The Woodstock veggie burger was very dry making it inedible.
